The Parc Deli in Cardiff

Disgusting service + unhygienic setting, really unpleasant environment… Staff were rude at times, and seemed sarcastic and unprofessional. Food was mediocre. By looking at the several other Low rated reviews for The Parc Deli, others have had a similar experience. Such a shame that a small business would carry themselves in such a way…. I would save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere! :)

A very bad place that I do not recommend. Do you believe that by accusing someone else, you can deceive others into thinking that the issue is personal and the review is malicious? I had breakfast at your place with my wife, and I swear by that. The breakfast was not good, and it's my right to review a public place I visited, and it's people's right to understand others' good and bad experiences.

I came in on the off chance when waiting for my car in the garage and had a nice cheese breakfast burrito and latte… It’s a small premises and was nice and quiet when I sat in at around 11.45. I could see the lady was busy sorting out take away orders and she let me know would be with me shortly. She took my order and the food came out 15 minutes later. My latte was very nice and full in flavour and most importantly hot (as some place seem to make them lukewarm). The Cheesy Amigo Burrito was very nice and filling, I asked for some extra chipotle sauce to dip my burrito which the lady was happy enough to get for me. Overall, a nice spot for a quiet meal 🙂.

Ordered on Uber eats and food came piping hot. Everything ordered was delicious and fresh! Highly recommend.

The dark vegan wrap is my favourite! But it is hard to know when they are open.

This has become a regular stop for me now. There food is always top notch and freshly prepared. High quality ingredients & very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend a stop off at Parc Deli

The experience was awful. We had to wait outside in the cold for our food the blonde lady behind the counter was extremely rude. Will never be back

Went here last week and very disappointed when asked for the eggs to be poached instead of fried and was told no. A bit strange when poached egg is on the menu anyway and I'm sure poaching an egg takes only a few minutes. We rolled with it but the place wasn't busy at all. The food was greasy, overcooked and needs a bit more character and care to make this place stand out from the crowd. The cutlery wasn't the best looking and the plates and cups looked grimy and definitely need replacing - these little things count, customers take notice.

Great food, with the exception of the fries which are bland and soggy, my personal favourite is the breakfast burrito 100%. One negative thing though, is that they close at seemingly random times on Justeat and Ubereats.

I have the breakfast burrito or the halloumi Mexican burrito and they are beautiful and quite big too

Slow deliveroo service, had to jump through hoops to contact the app to get it cancelled as it took that long. Dont recommend .

Honestly my favourite breakfast place in Cardiff although the lunch time items are fantastic as well. The only thing I will say is they seem to have dropped off the delivery services as they are rarely available. Such a shame because I used to love ordering on a sunday morning Edit: Was just in the middle of ordering and they closed orders yet again 🙃 my housemate will get to try it eventually

I went to Parc Deli after hearing good things about it. Turned out, It was one of the worst decisions of my life! I placed my order to takeaway and I was asked to stand outside in the rain! When going back in and complaining to the manager, he said this is the policy due to covid. I don’t understand why I wasn’t able to wait inside, when the cafe was empty and they have seats. However, they are using covid as an excuse in 2022. When explaining my issue to the manager, there was no apology or understanding. Instead I was asked to leave the cafe as if I had done something wrong. The management and staff are miserable and have no understanding of people and service. Also the food was awful, I ordered the Dark Seren wrap. I wish I never purchased this wrap as the ingredients was very poor quality and there was hardly any flavour. Also realised that there are many other reviews with the same issues that I had. I suggest they improve the way they treat customers or I don’t think this business will last much longer. Do not recommend.

Went here for breakfast because of the positive reviews I read and I wasn't disappointed. Good prices and delicious food. I enjoyed the deli's accommodating menu which ranges from classic, meaty breakfast/brunch plates to fresh, vegan-friendly items. Would 10/10 recommend.

I've had several orders delivered from here now - I really enjoy the falafel salad box. Coffee arrives well wrapped in cling film to avoid spillage.

Disappointed by Parc Deli’s toilet policy today. As a PAYING customer I was refused access to their CUSTOMER toilet because I wasn’t sitting in. I told them I suffered with Crohn's Disease and even offered to show them my Crohn's toilet card (mortifying in such close quarters with other customers eating breakfast!). I was still refused access. I was left feeling upset and humiliated. I would dread to think how you would treat customers with a visible disability. Unfortunately we will not be returning, which is a shame as the food was pretty good. DO BETTER PARC DELI.

I ordered lunch from here, a breakfast burrito and a roman salad, I must say the food is absolutely delicious and was delivered very quick, definitely eat here again.

Came here yesterday for breakfast and had amazing service from the staff working. They were very attentive and the coffees were delicious. There was a wide choice of shakes and a great coffee selection. I had a vegan burrito which was very tasty. My husband had the American waffle breakfast which was nice, but we felt not the same value for money as other menu items and the waffle was pretty flat compared to the pics on their Instagram and the bacon wasn't crispy as described on the menu. He still enjoyed it, but didn't feel it was worth the almost 9 pound. Would definitely come back though as a lot of the food we saw others eating looks delicious and we have much more to explore

I love this place for breakfast. The vegan burrito breakfast is sublime, the homemade dark brown sauce adds a cheeky zest that just makes it so special. My friends that have the meat options are always very happy and satisfied. Freshly cooked, quality ingredients. Highly recommend! Today the smoothy was lush too

I really love this place and the food is really nice, filling and very tasty but the customer service is very poor. I wanted 3 Glamorgan breakfast wraps but was told that the menu has changed and now only serve them in baguettes… I asked if I could have mine in a wrap as my children prefer it in wraps and was told I can’t, that’s how they make it and they won’t change!! Which strikes me as very odd and poor as it’s made fresh to order! Staff were very nice but point blank refused to make a wrap!!! I hope this changes as I love this place and the food is good… I’m usually here every weekend but will look somewhere else if this doesn’t change!!!

Discrimination at its finest. Ordered food and asked to sit down inside to eat, myself and my partner were told we couldnt do this due to covid. We accepted this and then waited outside for our food when other people came inside and sat down enjoying there drinks, i asked about this and was told that they are allowed to sit inside as they are the owners family. So either Covid restrictions are not adhered to or they were discriminating towards myself and my partner. Food was ok but cutlery was filthy.

Was in canton doing my laundry and very hungry and was told about the deli. I decided to pop there and arrived just before closing, the staff were very busy but very extremely friendly and welcoming, i couldn't of been given better service of they tried. I decided to try a wrap that was outside my comfort zone (never liked avocado much) and I was delighted by how good it was and will def be going back! Would def recommend! I wish I knew about the deli sooner ☆☆☆☆☆

Ok - a bacon baguette is a simple dish - but every time I have one from Parc Deli I honestly have to stop myself from buying another straight away.

Fantastic food… fantastic coffee… fantastic service. I met a friend for a business meeting and we were looked after from the minute we stepped through the door. It was busy - always a good sign - yet nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They are an independent company so it feels good to ‘support local’ rather than the big chains… so happy that my friend introduced me to Parc Deli!

Ordered food for my son who is Muslim and ended up with pork in his baguette. Previous order we paid extra for halloumi which wasn't even added in the order. Poor management and rude who cut me off on the phone!!..

Really tasty brunch for a good price

Really really poor experience. Came in being told it's only outside seating which is understandable, but this will tie into the ice debacle later. On ordering we were told no coffees were available because the machine had broke in the heat (which again will play a role in the ice debacle and reflects how hot it was during our visit). This was disappointing but again understandable. Next, my spouse ordered an item off the menu which they had actually discontinued but had not reflected this in the menu. Ok, fine. Next, we sat outside after our order in one of the the only two allocated spaces (in the sun). It was getting quite hot and I had an orange juice which was mildly cold so asked for some ice. After the server looked at our drinks, he said sorry we don't have alot of ice so we can't, despite only having two seating tables and only us being at the establishment for the morning. If you don't have a coffee machine working because of the heat you would expect them to serve the alternative, especially to a paying customer. I say this because we saw the same waiter use ice for his personal drink. Plus there are numerous shops within a stone's throw. A family couldn't even sit outside as we we were leaving because the tables are only for 2 people. Lastly, breakfast was terrible for £6.50. I wasn't expecting it to be amazing but the bacon was dry and carboardy and the mushrooms were burnt to a crisp. Avoid.

Banginggggg! Only realised the extensive menu when looking on just eat! Recommend the chicken & chorizo burrito!!!! 💥

Get food (lunch) from Parc Deli few times a week whilst at work. Their salads are lovely, fresh and a good portion. Just watch what dressing you get as aked for vingarette and the last few times have gotten honey mustard which isnt great for allergies and vegans! Today I got the vegan dark wrap and it was amazzzzing! It was so delicious and great portion. Wonderful.

Delicious! Ordered Hunger Cure baguette and Park breakfast and they were generous and so tasty! The food travelled well and was still hot when it arrived. I'll order from here again definitely. Yum!

I have always had good food cooked to perfection and delivered with care I would recommend this restaurant for the time and effort put into cooking delicious and tasty food for all ages!

went here yesterday 9/10/20. only because The Deli in Canton was closed. I asked for a Chicken mayo salad baguette with sweetcorn and red onion. when I got home and went to eat it. I was very disappointed. hardly any Chicken, no salad overloaded with mayo in what I could only describe as a mis-shaped stretched bread roll with hard pointy ends. Definitely not a baguette.

iv'e seen many reviews how people have worked here for a full trial day and wasn't given a chance to actually start working here, i myself am now one of them, i worked a full trial shift from 7am - 2pm for and with the manager 'Kris' who at the end of the day, told me there was certain things i needed to work on like food quality and speed, which is understandable seeing as i was 'new' to the place and obviously wouldn't be able to go in and smash it out on my first day because that would be completely abnormal right if i had known what to do and knew the whole menu and how they did things immediately. Any how at the end of the day the manager himself told me after i had asked 'are you interested in having me back' he replied 'yes, i would like to see more of you, i will be emailing you tonight the paperwork for your bank details etc'. i never did hear anything back until the next morning when i had to email him myself regarding the position only to be informed he had chosen another candidate. cool. thanks i guess. UPDATE: they're looking for another slave, DON'T DO IT!

Very expensive £5,80 for a cup of tea and a toasty. Had a long wait because the shop was constantly taking take away orders. Had to stand outside in the rain. Won't be going there again

First time i have done a review and honestly can't even make what you ordered, also don't pick up from them they only concentrate on takeaways, you will be waiting outside for 40 minutes just to get the wrong order, poor customer service

I waited over and hour for this order. When I he driver arrived he looked panicked and shoved The wet soaking packaging into my hands!! By the time I got to my door step the packaging started to tear and then the bag burst and contents came straight out of the bottom. The driver said they don’t have cup holders and this always happen. It’s annoying to know this is an issue you know about but still sell drinks that require a sturdy cup holder for travel. I can make my own coffee but as it was a choice on your menu I thought it would be nice to have a coffee made for me instead. I have a really busy day today hence why I was treating myself with a home delivery. I now don’t have time to eat as I have to go out! Disappointed and hungry. Won’t be ordering again!

Lovely sandwiches and an amazing Biscoff waffle. Would highly recommend, and will definitely be returning!

We ordered online (breakfast baguettes) & ordered wrong meaning we overpaid. A man called us to check out order, let us know we'd over paid & gave us some extras. The food was amazing! The latte was SO good. I've missed good coffee in the lockdown so I'm so glad we found you! Thank you so much x

I had worked there for one day .and i have done the work what they given till closing of the restaurant i worked.but they had just given me two stars so that there are no shifts coming to me till then.sir don't make it another person's like that.try to help but don't play with other opportunities

I have never had bad service from the parc deli. The breakfast items on offer are good quality and very tasty. I am very partial to the hunger cure. I have not eaten inside the restaurant, so my views are purely on the food and interactions with delivery and staff on the phone. I am deducting a point because I feel the sides they have are not that great and are expensive, and I had a milkshake once that seemed low quality and not made in store. Prices are reasonable, you can get a good breakfast for £4-5, treat yourself. Overall, a good quality breakfast is waiting for you here.

We wrote a poor review last time however the owner kindly responded to us and has more than made up for the poor service received last time. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast, coffee and milkshake and would happily recommend and visit back again. Food is excellent! The staff are friendly and there is a good atmosphere whether you want a bite to eat, meet up with friends or catch up on emails.

Excellent value and food offering

We have been a few times here as they do some great food. However this time we had to wait an hour to get a brie and bacon panini only to find out they didn't take the order and then they ran out of paninis and served a baguette with no cranberry sauce. They offered a free drink that cost about a pound for the inconvenience, which didn't seem appropriate all things considered. However we did get a really great parc breakfast. There was only 2 waiters and the staff need to be more aware of the customers in the future especially since there was only two of us at the table.

Outstanding Value for money, Excellent portion sizes and lovely hardworking staff. The only down side is the staff are sometimes super busy with orders and therefore don't open on time or you may have to wait a short time before you can make an order. Would still recommend.

Really disappointed. Slow service, had to change from eat in to takeaway in the end as they were so slow. Wasn't offered apology or money back given they charge differently for eat in and takeaway. They don't seem equipped to deal with sudden influx on customers or then prioritising orders. Such a shame!!

Went in multiple times to get some of their carribbean black bean burritos, really tasty and big and decent value for money compared to the other burrito places in Cardiff. Defo reccomend

Somos muy afortunados de tener este pequeño café tan cerca de nuestra casa. A menudo visito aquí con mis hijos y tienen un menú para acomodarlos. La elección del desayuno es fantástica y recomiendo encarecidamente el Aguacate partido. También tiene un menú para llevar muy completo y los cuencos de arroz son muy sabrosos. Una visita obligada para Cardiffians o cualquiera que pase por la ciudad que quiera una sabrosa comida. ¡Personal de Diolch y Parc Deli! !

Mucha variedad, grandes porciones, encantador y fresco y no es el típico buffet de la fábrica. Kris, el propietario, es extremadamente servicial y siempre hará un esfuerzo adicional para ayudar. No puedo recomendarlo lo suficiente. Si tienes la oportunidad, prueba los rollitos de salchicha caseros y el quiche, ¡fuera de este mundo!

No me gusta dejar malas críticas en línea, pero creo que mi gestión de experiencia debe ser vista por la gerencia para que no vuelva a suceder. Pedí un desayuno y un batido del Parc Deli a través de JustEat, una orden bastante simple con algunos artículos adicionales para el desayuno. Después de llamar dos veces para obtener una actualización sobre dónde estaba la comida, llegó un total de dos horas después de que ordené originalmente, una hora entera tarde. La única explicación ofrecida para esto fue (y cito) que habían tomado media docena de pedidos al mismo tiempo. Actualmente trabajo en la industria de servicios, y esto no es poco común: si Parc Deli ofrece un servicio para llevar, deberían tener la capacidad de manejar seis pedidos a la vez. Yo vivo muy cerca, también (diez minutos en coche, incluso con mucho tráfico), así que no había ninguna razón por la cual la comida debería haber estado lista para el parto, siempre y cuando fuera. Si eso no fuera suficiente, la comida llegó tibia y al abrir el paquete resultó ser el orden equivocado.

Otro excelente desayuno aquí hoy. Ligeramente resacoso, mi compañero y yo decidimos que el cereal no iba a ser suficiente, así que nos fuimos al Parc Deli y no nos decepcionó.

Mexican food served at the weekend. Cheap, tasty, friendly. Only a few tables, so book. If you are visiting Cardiff you could also visit Victoria Park next door.

Excellent food,brilliant service and all at great prices. Can not fault the tasty menu, mostly Mexican but also serves breakfast and sandwiches. Please pay a visit to this lovely little deli, you will not regret it!
