Always good burgers and lots of veggie/vegan options.

Came with my dad for my 26th birthday for some food, service was exceptional fella was really helpful and friendly. Food was really good quality and easily the best burger ive had in a long time if not ever.

The cheesy fries are so good & I recommend getting the double thick patty burger as it was sweet,smokey and delicious. Will be coming back soon!

Fantastic and tasty food, but so pricey. £43 for 2 burgers, chips and a drink is just too much. Also, the touchscreen ordering system is a bit impersonal for such a "high end" establishment.

Ordering was through self service screens but physical menus were available and staff offered help Food was good quality and enjoyable but pricy

Best burger I ever had since I moved in the UK in 2015. I will definitely come back 👍 loved the chips as well. They also have very good sauces.

I’ve been eating here since 2016/17 and it serves the best burgers I’ve ever had. They come with such nice flavour combinations and tasty extras. I couldn’t recommend highly enough! Fries are also fantastic - my personal favourite the hula hula fries. Always go down a treat. Their soda on tap is also super nice. They have real root beer that’s close to proper American root beer. Goes perfect with their burgers 🍔 Defiantly worth a visit!!

The taste was unbelievable! Also they had discount for Dine in in weekdays!

We're from Yorkshire, but after we accidentally stumbled across this little restaurant a few years back, we always make a point to call in when we're in Cardiff. The burgers are excellent, I don't know what they do to the chicken, but it's incredible. The chips are also impressive, the cheese and marmite fries are worth a special mention. I only wish we were a bit more local so we could enjoy it more often. Thank you!

Just the best burger joint in Cardiff, and probably in the UK. Simply delicious burgers, incredible bottomless sodas and all locally sourced. Simply fantastic and a must visit for burger lovers.

Amazing lunch. Sweet chilli chicken wings for me, super tidy cheese burger for my eldest. Not usually a fan of self service tills but these were great. Love the refill drinks. My food was awesome, had a kick but not too much...demolished the lot. Only some fries left. 10/10 Thanks all

omg the dirty fries were AMAZE, here's a photo of them AFTER we finished because we couldn't wait to eat them! the drinks were unique and delicious, plus free refills. happy with the burger customisation and they cater amazingly to vegans and veggies

Pretty decent burgers, pretty decent venue, pretty decent price, nice friendly staff. Maybe we didn't order the best on the menu, so would definitely come back to try other options.

Small restaurant with good food! It’s self-service but the staff are around to assist if anything and the food is served quickly. We liked their Yokozuna southern fried tenders and the Hula Hula fries. The Argie Bargie Beef burger was nice, but not an outstanding burger

Had the goats cheese smashed burger, was SO good. Chilli chips nice too. Ordered for collection and everything was still fresh and piping hot. Cool little place inside too. Would definitely recommend!

Overpriced burger and fries. Burger size is small and the meat was so dry and it did not taste good. The tables were sticky and it was not comfortable to have a meal there.

The 6oz burger meat was really tough and dry. Sent back and asked for a refund as when I questioned how it had been cooked the chef had an attitude of a don't give a hoot. No apology just an attitude. Really poor customer service. The chap behind the till was lovely though, very helpful on entry.

I've thought long and hard about leaving this review - we ate at the Grazing Shed because it's a small, indie business but as the day as gone on, the dinner and money we spent there has made me more annoyed. We came to Cardiff for Bruce Springsteen at The Millenium Stadium so town was BUSY. The Grazing Shed was, naturally, busy too but they obviously weren't coping! The chap who was behind the ordering counter was getting very stressed and snapped at two customers (plus us) when asked questions about how the ordering system worked. Our order took over 50 minutes to arrive and they forgot some of it. The order of wings was stone cold. The burger with 'salad' in place of a bun was some chopped up iceberg, liberally coated in BBQ sauce and a dollop of onion marmalade under a cold patty and topped with that orange, liquid cheese you get in a lot in the States. And that cheese made up a potion of 'cheesy chips'. Overall, it was not good. And I would have happily sent this via email rather than publicly sharing it but there isn't an email address on their website unless you want to book them for an event or food fair. I will end by saying we do come from the home of the Beefy Boy so any burger place is going to have a lot to live up!

Great selection of vegan options, but the actual food was lacking. The Marmite fries and the slaw were delicious, but the burger patty was bland and I couldn't taste the sauces. The restaurant was cramped, and the food was very overpriced.

Tables are slightly sticky, other than that the food is really good and the staff are friendly and look like they're having fun at the job

Honestly the best burgers I've had in my life, my family agrees. Nice place, friendly staff. It's expensive, but very much worth it. Almost every time we comes to Cardiff we stop by here for lunch with no regrets.

Had an early dinner and didn't want too much, so the small smashed burger and chips was ideal. Struggled a bit with the ordering system, but the staff were very friendly and helpful. Fine dining this is not - but it has a vibe of its own!

Possibly one of the worst burgers I've ever had. We waited 20 minutes for a frozen, tough burger inside a super dry bread bun. The bun was so dry I had to ditch it and just eat the burger. To top it off, the Ketchup was cheap and nasty- you know the vinegary kind from a cash and carry. Not worth the £10+.

Ordered a takeaway and it was the worst beef burger I've ever had. Was dry, tough and chewy, I thought it was some kind of fake meat. Won't be going there again!!

One of Cardiff’s gems, really high quality food. It’s brilliant that you can get a veggie or vegan version of almost everything on the menu, and there’s loads of reasonably priced options for fries and sides. Cool self-service system but with lots of staff around to help too.

absolutely delicious burgers and amazing staff. you order through a tablet, get your own sauces and wait for the food. the portion sizes are great and you get lots of food. i recommend getting the refillable cup because you can go back for more. sometimes it can get a bit pricey if you keep adding things to your burger, my favourite is to make my own burger and put what i want on it. vegetarian options are minimal but at least the few they offer taste really good. not the cheapest of places but absolutely worth everything.

Good, honest food, cracking tunes, chill atmosphere and fully customisable burgers. A personal touch, where you truly feel like a local while supporting local too. Bwyd gwych! 🐮

A lovely little gem, vegan and vegetarian options available. I had a vegetarian burger and my partner had a meat burger both with marmite fries which was amazing! Lovely friendly staff, nice atmosphere and great music taste 👌 would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Cardiff Central.

Visited for the first time today and as soon as we popped through the door Issi sprang to serve us, ensuring we had all we needed to get ordering. We'd taken a liking to the festive options that were still available which was awesome, it felt like we'd barely gotten our orders in - which were super easy to customise and were full of the utterly tantalising options - when our stunning stunning (yep double stunnin') and delicious freshly cooked food arrived! With every mouthful our minds were blown further & further than we ever possible! I have no clue if they put fairy dust in it all or those in the kitchen were miracle works but every last bit of it was DE-VINE!! 1000000% returning in the very near future!

Disappointing and expensive. We arrived to staff that seemed fed up and sat at a table with a vase of dead flowers, but we were optimistic that ‘the best burger in wales’ would be worth it. After ordering at the self serve and having a couple of flimsy paper cups put on our table for the drinks, the food arrived quite quickly. Burgers were mushy and tasteless, and the garlic topping for the chips looked and tasted like the cheap seasoning you get from the supermarket. Over £50 and we would have been better off going to McDonalds. Just awful. Save your money (and your tastebuds) and go elsewhere.

Went to the grazing shed after hearing excellent reviews from my friends. As you come in there appears to be a self service check out where you order your food and then wait before your order is called. All round there was a nice atmosphere, very busy around 7 but completely cleared out at 8. Once we got our food it was delicious, me and my girlfriend are both vegetarian so we got the veggie patties, they were bean burger like as opposed to ‘fake meat’. The patties looked a bit dry at first but were really nice. The chips were delicious. I would say though that the food is good, but it is quite expensive, what happened to getting a decent burger for about £5-8? Also I would say, I’m not too bothered, but it is a bit sad that with the high price and all, the dining experience is like going into a take out? I think it’s nice having more of a friendly connection with the people working there. It’s clear businesses nowadays don’t wanna hire people to cut costs, not only diminishing the customer experience, but also making it veryy unlikely anyone working there will get tips. However I do understand in these post covid times. Ultimately I would defo recommend despite all that aha, as the food was really, really tasty.

Staff was really nice and friendly, but the burger was a bit of a disappointment. We were looking forward to this place as it had the best reviews, but it turned out to be an okay burger with very, very dry patty, no juice at all.

First time eating at the grazing shed and first time having a smash burger. The service was great very quick and attentive the burger was amazing wish I got a double instead of a single. The loaded bacon and cheese fries were delicious and a good size potion which is a nice change . The drinks are a bit different I tried a few different drinks and was unlimited help yourself, I recommend the cloudy lemonade which was very refreshing I wish they did normal coke as some of the other flavours are quite unique. The cherry bakewell soda for instance was a love it are hate it flavour and wasn't for me. I travel for work and if I'm back in the area will definitely be back . Wish we had you guys up in lancashire as you would be very busy as we lack fast food outlets that do good quality and go potion sizes and is a nice clean venue were you could sit with your freinds/family and enjoy the good quality food.

Always loved the grazing shed - a treat every time we come to Cardiff!

I used to love the Grazing She'd but things here have changed for the worst. It's now self service which, for the high price you pay for a burger is an absolute insult. When you do serve your self with an order, none of the staff are accommodating with giving you a cup for your drink and you have to ask them from the kitchen. We ordered 3 portions of fries, 2 John Wayne burgers and 3 soft drinks and it came to £42.30 yes, £42.30. Extortionate. The burgers weren't as good as they used to be either the burger sauce is very spicy now which spoilt the burger. Also they are cutting corners by watering down the ketchup with extra vinegar and they have also watered down the soft drink syrups as I could barely taste the drink. Just not very carbonated water. I'm sorry (not sorry) but the GS has gone down hill since my last visit. Used to be the best burger place in Wales but, I'm afraid, that ship has sailed. I'm afraid I won't be back. This is due to all the cost cutting tactics and high prices charged which, unfortunately is to the detriment of the quality of both the service and the food and drink served this cold burger joint. Very very disappointed. Can't see this place being open for much longer if they carry on with all of the above.

Came here due to a past bad experience in TGI fridays and i can say it’s blown me away out how amazing the grazing sheds food is, 100% recommend this place over tgi’s and i love the rustic atmosphere 10/10 will be definitely coming again

Absolutely wonderful. Christmas date ended perfectly. Had two of the Christmas burgers with lots of extras. Had the Festive frank and the Golden Grinch burgers. Fast and efficient kitchen service. I’m talking less than 10 minutes from payment to plate on a quiet weeknight. Giving extra points for one of the kitchen guys singing Bohemian Rhapsody at mid volume. Loved it. Second visit but will be hungry for more.

Great tasting burgers and dirty fries with bottomless soda for £20. Popped in just before a Madness concert at Utilita Arena which is next door. Background music in the Shed was all Madness so much appreciated.
