A modern pub very clean in appearance. However lacking a crowd on this occasion I visited with a mate. Used to be full on a Sunday night with local bands with a great atmosphere. A trend which unfortunately seems to be ongoing throughout the pubs within this area .

Called here ad-hoc en route to ikea. WOW! Food was incredible and staff were fab!! Will definitely visit again 🥰

The service we received was outstanding, the food was incredible. I would highly recommend, the decor is great, a lovely cosy pub with incredible homemade food.

I have had breakfast, lunch and Sunday dinner here and the food is absolutely impeccable. The menus change with the seasons and I love to try something different when I visit as it never disappoints. The service is outstanding, nothing is too much trouble. I always visit with my baby daughter; the staff always make a fuss of her and I feel completely comfortable visiting with her on my own as well as with my family. I highly recommend a visit as you will not be disappointed.

We have been to the shoes several times and the food just,s get better and better the chef Gareth comes out from the kitchen to make sure all is good with our meals the staff are amazing

We had our wedding reception here - I have to say we were absolutely thrilled with how our special day went. The Three Horseshoes is very ideal if you’re looking to host a reception for a smaller and more cost-effective wedding - especially if you’re getting married at the local registry office, which is a short walk away. There is also a very nice florist directly opposite, who were happy to pop the flowers over at no extra cost. The Three Horseshoes staff were incredibly accommodating - they were happy to set up decorations for us (including a curtain to allow for some privacy from the rest of the pub, which we really appreciated!), they also agreed to put on a drinks reception, cater for multiple different dietary requirements, and they have a fantastic space for a DJ to be placed. Everyone had great fun at the reception, and were really impressed with how lovely the pub is looking. Kelly and the team were instrumental in making sure the day ran smoothly, and the chef, Gareth, put together a fantastic buffet. We really liked that we were asked if the leftover food could be handed out to the homeless, which confirmed that this is a business we will be happy to support in the future! Thank you all so much 🥰

Some of the nicest food I've had in awhile. Everything was homemade. Dog friendly which was a bonus.

Great staff even see the chef behind the bar makes stunning food and does a great pint. I love this place best food, and the staff is awesome always up for a laugh while still being professional. Great Sunday roast and nibbles if you don't want a big lunch excellent price.

Disappointed. Dead on a Friday night and cocktails made from a machine is never a good sign

Every time we’ve eaten here the food has been absolutely gorgeous from start to finish!! Hats off to the chef he does an amazing job. The establishment itself is friendly and inviting. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a lovely meal.

My partner and I have popped in a few times recently - twice for Sunday dinner and once for a takeaway lunch. Fantastic quality and great service every time, we will definitely be coming back regularly.

Had an excellent 2 course lunch, with wine, today 21st Dec 23 very good value for money, Pudding and sauce so lovely. Was really nice few hours, will definetly visit again. Well done

I've been here for different times of the day. The food is lovely 😍 I just tried the chocolate brownies and my mind was blown away with the fudgyness and crisp outer edges. My friend had a corner piece with even more crispy edges. I take my own oat milk and I have an Americano black coffee. I have joined the Monday 1pm knit and natter sessions, I take my pens and paint cause I can't knit. Lovely group of ladies. The Saturday evenings are good here. I've seen birthday parties and wakes here. I've not had a meal here yet only cakes. My friends love the food here.

Went to the three when it was a lively pub/club back in the day & had many great night there, went back today for the Sunday Lunch, & I will say what a great pub it still is, The food and the service was excellent, well done all. 10 out 10. 👏👏👏👏

Kelly and the team are absolutely amazing!! We hosted our wedding reception at the shoes and they went above and beyond to make everything perfect for our special day! I could not be more grateful 🤍 The compliments we received on the buffet was constantly good! Especially the vegetable crisps! We lucked out having the wedding on a Tuesday which is Jam night & had our first dance performed by the lovely Jack, it really was a night to remember 🥰 All decor was provided by the shoes & the buffet given the size and quality of the food was unbelievabley cheap considering the hours and effort that went in to it! We didn't pay to hire the space and honestly I think they should start charging especially considering all the work that went in to making it so special for us! All the bar staff were very friendly and drinks again were cheap! I am so glad we chose to have our wedding reception here, we will definitely be back to try the Sunday lunches as well a majority of our guests who are from the area! Most travelled in from the North and Birmingham and even they said they'd never get any of this where they are from! Thank you all for the absolutely amazing reception you pulled off for us, we will definitely remember this for the rest of our lives and Kelly you should definitely go into wedding planning! Drinks are very expensive a jack Daniels & coke and pint of lager £10.50. Must be one of the most expensive places we've drunk at. Had the one and left. The floors are also a slip hazard, the amount of people we saw nearly going down because of wet flooring was quite shocking

One of the best Sunday roasts had in a long time. Food was faultless. All Hot , fresh home cooked good food. Beef was delicious and plenty of it too. Variety of veg and potato choices with jugs of thick gravy Definitely visit again . Staff friendly and helpful. Service a bit slow , but it was very busy .

Called in for a quick lunch while our son was warming up for a rugby match. Place looks nice and clean outside and in, with a modern interior. Menu is not huge but a good selection and cooked fresh to order, very nice, can not fault the food. Service was also very good and attentive to detail. Would call again if in the area.

Came here this evening for food with clients from work and co-workers. Food was stunning! Service was brilliant and very attentive. Couldn't fault it! Will be back to try something else off the evening menu soon 😍

Beautiful food, polite staff and clean calm atmosphere. Visited on a Sunday at lunchtime for a roast. Lovely portion sizes, massive yorkshires too. Would definitely recommend.

Tiny little place with a big atmosphere, it’s always a pleasant pub to visit, staff are awesome and the drinks are poured expertly. If your coming here for one or more you will be welcomed and you will enjoy.

Lovely pub, Cracking Jam night on Tuesdays every week

Waited 30mins at the bar only to watch others join the queue behind me and get served first, absolute joke of a service, very poor. Can understand it was busy but to have people at the bar after you and be served first is ridiculous.

Visited for Sunday lunch with friends on the 3rd July, was impressed how the place looked, staff were attentive and friendly, service was swift, the food was lovely, thoroughly enjoyed my lunch dinner, will definitely return 👍

This is the first time for me and it was really good, the staff were lovely the food was excellent, I had a very good Sunday roast, thank you 3horseshoes we will come came again

My opinion only, I found the staff extremely lovely but the food quite disappointing , I had a Sunday lunch of roast beef, the roast potato just tasted of oil and the gravy was pretty tasteless if I’m honest, shame because the food as a whole was cooked well

What a fabulous Sunday lunch experience! Very pleasant, modern decor, clean & stylish. Reasonably priced Sunday lunch & worth every penny! Presentation & flavour superb! Ample portions & served by lovely waitresses. Helpful & attentive. Really hope this facility will be with us for a long time. Chris has built up an amazing reputation for his culinary skills & his wife mo is his right hand! Rhubarb crumble superb too! Nice bottle of Malbec shared between us at room temp. 5 stars & highly recommend

Clean place with friendly and helpful staff

We had enjoyed coming here as the management had done a great job updating the place . Tonight staff and 3 women were using it as a private party ! Really uncomfortable. Blaring music, unable to hear each other speak, so we left.

Pricey🤦 When you consider a double vodka and red bull wholesale cost is less than £1.50, and your charging over £6.....I stand by my review.....swear you were selling deisel 😆

Quiet before the evening storm I suspect. A bit utilitarian for an older bloke to relax in. Nice pint of pale ale though. And it ain't 'Spoons, (edit) which is a big positive. Will call again next time in Bridgend.

All new, wipe clean tables and chairs and lots of space between. Great music and space to dance in small groups. Reasonable priced drink

It's lost It's pub appeal, is more like a cafe mixed with a hairdressers, is too clean cut

Had a makeover since the last time I went so looks fresh and clean. Great music, room to dance if you want to. But not so loud that you couldnt talk to your friends. Great night.

It was OK.The tabkesxand chairs look a bit cafe like and the chairs are not very comfortable.The bar staff however were charming and very attentive.

After looking around a few places online I found this lovely little gem . Never in my life had a sunday lunch delivered as always make my own so I was a bit unsure . We were staying in trecco bay holiday park I rang up to receive great customer service and very helpful lady (thanks for the mint sauce :p ) I met the delivery girls at the security gate , very friendly. When i got back to the caravan myself and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it😋 😊 absolutely stunning GRAVY and homemade. Excellent portions and beautiful cooked veg. Amazing roasties. Chose the title for this post based on the Tom's (the manager) xfactor history and there are no other words to describe it other than - simply the best! Having not been in The shoes for many many years I visited on Friday night with friends, and was bowled over by how contemporary the place looks in comparison to how I remember it before. We were given the warmest welcome and were seated with table service. Had some beautifully presented cocktails. Two for £6 absolute bargain! We bought a few shots that were brought to the table by the queen in drag who's makeup and dress was amazing. The staff were all friendly, bubbly and chatty and made a real effort to engage and interact. During a time that has been challenging for most it felt so good to go somewhere that had a cracking atmosphere which just put a smile on our faces. Tom, you and your staff are genuinely outstanding hosts which in my opinion makes all the difference between a place you just go to for a drink and a place you go to for an experience. You will definitely be seeing me and my girls again very soon. The cheeky one from llangeinor 😉
