Although we live local we haven’t been to the New inn for a Sunday lunch in years. We called in on the off chance today, even though we hadn’t booked and they were very busy they managed to accommodate us in the bar area where our dogs were also made very welcome. There weren’t any vegan options advertised for the Sunday lunch however they managed to rustle up a complete dinner and separate gravy which was all absolutely delicious. My wife and kids had the regular roasts and all said their food was faultless. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the staff were very friendly. Would 100% recommend and we look forward to going again.

Visited this pub after a lovely walk with the dogs. The staff was very friendly and welcoming the food menu was very good and fairly priced I had the house chicken curry and rice and chips which lovely my wife had the vegetarian lasagna which she enjoyed and the best part you could take your dog in the pub was in a lovely location definitely be visiting again

This pub / Inn was just 3 minutes away from where we were staying, so could not have been more handy. The first evening it was quite quiet - a Monday - (we were lucky it was open at all as 2 earlier pubs were not open till Wednesday) which was rather nice & we were made to feel very welcome. The second night it was very busy, with a meeting going on in one room & darts I believe going on in another. We had a meal in the pub, with our dogs, next to the fire which was great. On our last night, the landlady greeted just like the locals & again we enjoyed their very reasonably priced drinks (including the local brews) lovely meals (mine was a tasty vegan dish) & a great warming fire. It was lovely to hear laughter amongst the locals & of course the Welsh accent. Thank you to the landlady & all the staff, you have a great place of social gathering with great food & drink, long may you prosper.

We had the curry choice on the 2 for £13.00 it was loverly ,we do go there for Sunday lunch sometimes and will be going back soon

Can highly recommend the New Inn, all staff friendly and welcoming, food overall very good, main courses especially so, obviously a lot of effort has gone in to them.

A small group of us have been going to the Newinn for a while now and I have to say It is the Best Sunday lunch We have had the food is superb always enough and you can always ask for more we always naging for the cabbage and Roast potatoes,today we had Turkey and it wasn’t pressed it was proper Turkey,perfectly cooked and very tasty absolutely stunning the Staff are FABULOUS always smiling and very help full,I personally had a 20 party for Sunday back in May and we all ate the same time and food was piping hot well done to all the Staff and thank you for putting up with us ..

We rang on a whim Sunday morning to see if we could get in for lunch as a party of 12. They squeezed us in and we got a table in the back room. The food was beautiful, good portion size, lots of variety of veg. Plenty of gravy and meat. Everyone really enjoyed their meals, no issues at all. Staff were friendly and efficient. Food was very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend and return.

On our recent trip to Wales from Ontario, Canada we visited the New Inn several times. On one occasion we used their back room as a venue for a family reunion. Their food is excellent as was the service. The owners were so accommodating that our reunion was a huge hit with everyone. I hadn't had Cawl for years (Welsh Lamb Stew) and theirs was as good as it gets. Thank you Sharron and Ieuan. We'll see you the next time we're in Wales!

Absolutely amazing landlord and landlady who made us feel very welcome on our 1st visit for our evening meal so good we went back a further 2 times during our stay for our meals the food is amazing and service second to none very friendly staff and locals will definitely return

We visited this pub restaurant a couple of times whilst on holiday in Pontardawe. Both times the food was perfectly cooked, hot and served with plenty of condiments. It's often you get a steak never quite cooked right but the chef here had it down to perfection and the homemade chips were amazing. The staff were very polite,friendly and obliging. It is obviously a locals pub too and they made us feel welcome too and not like outsiders! First time we came with family and had a little treat of some impromptu Irish live music. Great pub, great staff ... would definitely recommended.

Todas las comidas eran terminar platos por todas las.bebidas esposa y yo tuvimos una coca-cola madre rscb tenían glsss grandes de Rose y grayo tenía un par de pintas de Carling . Nos lo pasamos de maravilla el personal estamos atentos y preguntando si todo. Todos tuvimos un precioso tiempo y a la izquierda el hostal nuevo feliz .

Booked for Sunday Lunch after a recommendation, it, was not disappointing, it was lovely to have the food served at the table and not have to queue for a carvery, generous portions and a large gravy boat which was replenished, plenty of veg to help ourselves to, excellent value for money so stuffed after 2 courses sadly couldnt attempt the deserts, enjoyed it so much we have now booked Christmas Day Lunch there, .and there`s a lovely play area to keep my granddaughter happy, and there is a pretty country walk just yards away to walk the calories off, defiantly recommend here.

Con mesa reservado fuimos en mi madre, mi hermana y mi esposa hermana SND, y brotjet en ley. no tienen todos el mismo, pero la comida y el ambiente fueron muy leyed volver. Yo tomé un filete la mujer tenía una lasaña mi hermana y madre había pescado y. Mi hermano en pastel casero . .. .. .. .. El servicio era impecable, y toda la comida estaba caliente y preparada. Pagamos de sacarte , pero vale cada céntimo singlr. Voy a reservar la próxima semana. No puedo esperar que mi madre y su colega esta vez . No puedo esperar blooď .
