Visited today for the Sunday carvery. £18.95 for 3 courses. You can't get better value than that. We rang to check availability and they advised we'd be ok as they were only half full with bookings. It was the first Sunday in January though so in future I'd definitely book to be on the safe side. It started filling up while we were there, and a lot seemed to know each other and the staff so it appears to be popular with regular visitors. And I'm not really surprised. Staff were lovely. Turkey, beef and gammon were the meats on offer today and we had a bit of each. They did not scrimp! We left stuffed and happy. What more could you want?

Used to come here about six times a year but unfortunately my husband can no longer drive. I have always moaned about the cost of parking and have previously suggested that you should be able offset the cost against food in the cafe,if that is the only reason for your visit ( less than an hour) Our daughter offered to take us for a ride so I suggested Brenig, knowing she wouldn`t want to leave her dog at home. It was very cold for early September- 14 degrees, dark and dismal. She went ahead to give her dog a quick walk and we met up outside the entrance to the cafe, then we noticed a sign saying no pets! Having read the other reviews, I now know that dogs are allowed on the terrace but you can only get there with your dog up some steep steps. Why isn`t there a sign on the door indicating this?? Anyway it would have been too cold on that day to sit on the terrace so we headed to Betws and had lunch there.

Lovely find, booked last minute as a stop off to a weekend away. The man behind the bar/reception was very friendly and so were the locals. Lovely relaxed atmosphere Dog friendly Rooms are clean and spacious We had food there in the evening, we did read some bad reviews about the food being “fast heated up frozen food” we didn’t feel if was like this and we enjoyed Continental breakfast the next morning was included and was lovely. Would definitely recommend and would visit again if we were every in the area

On a weekend visit to Pwllheli this was going to be a wet weather alternative, however we decided to go anyway. Nice well stocked garden centre, nice friendly staff. There was a huge area devoted to Christmas stuff and a large animated display of Santa and his elves would be great for little ones. We had lunch in the cafe, we had quiche with salad and a ham salad ( three nice thick slices of ham ), large portions too. This was our first trip to this area and we would definitely return.

Just been charged £9:30 for a pint of fosters shandy? A bit pricey in my mind. On and off me and the wife have been here a number of times mostly for Sunday lunch but I don't think we will be returning.

Doesn't look much from the car park. Go through the arch to the beer garden, it's like the wardrobe to Narnia. Open fronted glamping pod, table in a boat, an unbelievable Hobbit house, fully furnished, with books in a bookcase. Go down the steps to the garden terrace overlooking the bay. Comfy and sheltered seating, with stunning views. Is dog friendly too. The beer is no worse a price than tourist places. And is a decent pint. Ignore the naysayers. It's a very pleasant place for relaxing with a drink. We will be returning.
