Went to pub for drinks and to watch West Ham European final. Arranged with Sean previous night. Couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. We had a really good evening, it felt as though it was our own friendly local. Fully recommend the Aussie Rooster! 👍🏻😀
This is our second visit and it won’t be our last. Atmosphere great very friendly and spotlessly clean. Food is expertly cooked, presented and tastes delicious. Competitively priced as well what more could you wish for.
We wish you well ladies keep up the excellent work.

We went for lunch and we had for starters smoked salmon with apples, radish and cabbage coleslaw the corn fed chicken, mashed potatoes, picked onions and cherries tomatoes in a delicious jus , fish with potatoes, vegetable goulash for mains and for pudding: creme brule with coconut biscuit and raspberries and almond tart with cream and berries. Good service and excellent value for money too. £ 8.50 for 2 courses or £10 for a 3 course 👍
Absolutely wonderful, a first visit but certainly not the last. Best pizza I’ve had in about 10 years.
Lovely atmosphere, lovely staff. One of the best places to eat in Tywyn by far.
Fabulous.
Amazing service and excellent choice of food, good value and very tasty pub food. Perfect beer garden to drink a cold pint with friends and soak up the sun.
Highly recommended the home made cut chips, best I have every tasted
Visited on Friday 20th Sept. Terrible service. Myself and colleague were sat for at least 15 minutes with the waitresses not paying an ounce of notice. My companion walked over and asked for a menu to be told "they are over there". Somebody finally came over to take order. No welcome, no smiles, nothing ! Order placed. Some time later returned with said order and just plonked it on table and left. We got up to find own cutlery and condiments etc ! I ordered cheese on toast with a poached egg as I was disappointed to note there were no veggie breakfast options. I was busy chatting when I then noticed that I had two soggy pieces of bread with cheese on and a sorry looking fried egg for £4.50 !!! I had gone past caring at this point to be honest. Only picked this place as we were meeting for work meeting and the reviews seemed good. Won't be returning.
Go here if you want good Thai food cooked by a Thai family. This is not some overpriced restaurant with an over-promising menu and exotic furnishings to make you think you are in Bangkok. The focus here is on authentic SE Asia cooking from a limited but changing menu with excellent service and reasonably priced drinks. We had Summer rolls, Green curry and Pad Thai, all were tasty and all too soon our plates were clean. No room for desserts!
Will we go here again, yes.
I wish this Thai family every success with their fledgling business.
A simple cafe. We had a light soup and sandwich lunch. The soup was hot and tasty and the sandwich was fine as well. Perhaps not the style of a modern establishment but that don’t let that put you off.
Great food and Jim is such a nice man, and a great chef, the flavours he created were amazing, Think it was a bit lucky we were the only table (6 of us) as Jim was on his own, he did a great job, if there were more customers I would happily have jumed in to help even though I retired from the catering business many years ago it never really leave you. Yr Orsaf (the community hub, accommodation, caffi and Evening Thai all deserve success, what they have achieved is amazing, Long may it thrive.
What a surprising and nice find. Wouldn’t have gone in based on the exterior. I think it’s an old pub but it was recommended. I know why now. The Victoria sponge was so light and the coffee second to none. There is a cosy cafe on one side and an Internet cafe the other side. You’re welcome to sit either side. Staff were so friendly and kept asking was everything ok. The coffee was the best available sourced from a speciality coffee company in Llandudno rather than whatever was cheap in the cash and carry. The great thing about it being an Internet cafe is that when other cafes shut at 4pm this is still well and truly open for business. Definitely will go back if I’m in the area. Oh and the toilets are clean and plenty of them based on the past use if the premises I assume. Prices are in anyone’s budget but better quality than cheap cafes elsewhere. Seats are comfy.
We had a 4 day stay, visiting the lovely beach at Conwy Morfa, the mountains nearby, the lovely village of Rowan and a gig at the stadium in Colwyn Bay.
The small hotel is beautiful and full of character. The eating space, lounge and bedroom were excellent with a bar where you can help yourself if the hosts aren’t around - just write down what you had!
The jewel is the extensive garden where you can relax amidst beautiful countryside surroundings.
The nearby village has one pub which serves good food and there are numerous enchanting local walks in the north Wales countryside or mountains within easy reach.
The hosts are. Chris and Sandra who will be only to pleased to look after you and engage in a good conversation should you wish. There’s a terrace where you can enjoy your drink and the breakfasts are extensive and varied and cater for vegetarian and gluten free options.
In all a delightful stay.
