Itaca in Conwy

What a surprising and nice find. Wouldn’t have gone in based on the exterior. I think it’s an old pub but it was recommended. I know why now. The Victoria sponge was so light and the coffee second to none. There is a cosy cafe on one side and an Internet cafe the other side. You’re welcome to sit either side. Staff were so friendly and kept asking was everything ok. The coffee was the best available sourced from a speciality coffee company in Llandudno rather than whatever was cheap in the cash and carry. The great thing about it being an Internet cafe is that when other cafes shut at 4pm this is still well and truly open for business. Definitely will go back if I’m in the area. Oh and the toilets are clean and plenty of them based on the past use if the premises I assume. Prices are in anyone’s budget but better quality than cheap cafes elsewhere. Seats are comfy.

We met the kindest, nicest people of the world running this Internet cafe/community center in Wales. We ended up spending most of the afternoon there after a car crash, when Tom and Karen had been the most welcoming hosts and took excellent care of us. They gave us all the help they could including an offer for a ride to our destination following business hours in their own free time. Truly amazing people. Plus their tea and sandwiches were nice too.

Attended a training course. A lovely atmosphere with friendly professional service. Nice food. Just wish I lived in Abergele.

We had a really nice & warm welcoming by the staff, they made my daughter feel relaxed as we used the computers & had some drinks. there is parking at the back & the drinks are well priced.

I had the Thai Sweetcorn Soup it was amazing and I would very highly recommend the soup and the chocolate cake may I add that all the cakes provided are hand made. This place is by far the best place in Abergele.

Great friendly atmosphere, good selection of toastie and paninis. Good value as well, glad the money goes back into the charity!

Stopped here for lunch with a colleague today. Was pleasantly greeted by Tom who quickly took our order. Comfortable surroundings, friendly ambience, lovely home cooked food and great coffee. So hard to find a genuine place like this these days but will definitely be returning. Spot on thanks Tom.

I stopped by Itaca in need of a caffeine boost and WiFi to continue my travels. The staff were very friendly and made me feel right at home. Their cappuccinos are excellent and WiFi strength is great. They fed me pizza and fruit tarts and offered great advice and tips for my future travels. Although I was only passing through, I would definitely visit here again.

Used to go all the time but now go sometimes have great food and drink and friendly staff will help you anytime

Love coming here as i always feel welcome and the staff are friendly the coffee and the food is lovely excellent value for money too also they do it classes and have usage of the computers which is also a bonus thankyou Vicky

The summer holidays can be a minefield for working parents! So, whilst visiting my parents for a few weeks in North Wales (grandparent daycare, thanks very much!), I needed a (peaceful) place to work. I searched for co-working spaces close to my parents' place and am delighted to have stumbled across Itaca. The co-working facilities are perfect - nicely furnished, fast internet, plug sockets, etc! I run my own online business and have managed to get so much done - and the kids are being spoilt rotten with Nanna and Gramps! Everybody's happy. The staff here have been welcoming, warm and friendly. There's a cafe downstairs, serving nice coffee and cakes, which is lovely to pop down to have a natter - Tom's latte was really good, to be fair! For anybody who works from home and is craving coffee and company, I can't recommend this place highly enough. All for a very reasonable daily rate, too. Well done, Itaca - a great community service :)

I visited Itaca for a quick coffee and has now become a daily visit on my work breaks, prices are extremely good (£1.50 pot of tea), a very pleasant environment.

Recently visited this cafe in North Wales and it is a lovely little cafe if your in the area. They serve nice coffee however if you want sandwiches you will have to make do with the pre packed variety. Otherwise ok.

Lovely Internet Cafe to just sit and have a coffee, friendly, a benefit to the community lots going on for young people.
