The best restaurants in North Wales

Always visit here when in Barmouth. This is probably the best coffee in town. The berry smoothie is also recommended. The only food we have had has been a toasted tea cake but looking at the menu on the wall, I would say that the drinks and food are very well priced.

Amazing, friendly spot just at the top of the high street. Food portions are generous, and the owner is wonderful! Definitely check this place out if you’re unsure where to eat.

Impromptu Sunday Lunch. Booked online last minute. Haven't been before but will definitely return. Service was outstanding, food was delicious. What a beautiful, light and airy venue. Spotlessly clean. Highly recommend.

Excellent village pub with attractive decor and welcoming atmosphere. Always a nice welcome from the owners and staff. Comfortable seating and real fire. Always a choice of real ales on tap and good food served in generous portions. Highly recommend.

Is it possible to find a special place and never want to leave? My husband booked a 2 night stay in The Pen for my 60th birthday - it had its own verandah overlooking unspoilt views; a cosy rustic cabin which housed everything you could want for a luxurious yet comfortable stay. We enjoyed log fires inside the cabin and out. Breakfasts in The Cart Shed were the most delicious we've ever tasted - locally sourced produce cooked to perfection. Perfect cocktails too! I celebrated my birthday at Mark's Supper Club where Chef Mark showed me a picture of the seabass he'd caught himself earlier to cook for me! We were so impressed with the attentive, kind and smiley staff - always on hand to make a difference to our stay. Congratulations to The Outbuildings family for their unique vision, stunning design and impeccable hospitality. We loved it and hope to make it our new regular home from home! We visited Bangor for the evening and stumbled across this pub. Keith, Linda and Lynn were so kind and welcoming and we loved our time here!! Would recommend 100%!

Wonderful coffee shop, staff are excellent as well as their coffees.

Great place to visit if in the local are. To start with the service is amazing, never been to a resturant with such kind staff. Was served in 5 minuites after ordering. The food was great, (very authentic) and hot. This is the standard i expect to see in resturants and i will 100% return.

Great service , Food is fantastic, staff cannot do enough , we needed a high chair and a table to fit it in they sorted it as soon as we came in. Food is beautiful and presented to a very high standard, we asked for something for our grandson to eat , no problem what would he like , again they put something together and he devoured it. Great place to visit and we will go again. The waffles are sweet or savoury and they taste amazing.
