Very good food, well priced and good selection. Staff very pleasant and views out are great from the first floor. Our "go to" cafe in Caernarfon. Finally nicest toilets probably in North Wales in the station.

Very good food for a quick lunch, baked potatoes, sandwiches and toasties all very well prepared and presented with fresh side salad. Lovely views of harbour and castle from first floor. Friendly efficient staff and quick service. Will visit again soon.

Super addition to the town, this recently constructed cafe/railway centre is spacious and has cracking views of the castle and estuary. Nice coffee, lovely cake and friendly service. Well worth a stop.

Good range of light lunches, snacks, and delicious cakes. Very spacious and clean with helpful, friendly staff. A perfect place to eat if you're getting the Welsh Highland Train - but it's well worth the walk from the town to grab a bite and see the trains and the castle.

Had a two night stay here over the weekend of the 6th Sept and what a wonderful little place it is. Emma and Menno were the most welcoming, friendly hosts and we immediately felt like this was a home from home, our room was very cosy and complete with home made Welsh cakes that went down a treat with a cup of tea after the long drive. The breakfasts were amazing and with the added twist of a Dutch breakfast option courtesy of Menno. The tea rooms are currently closed allowing for a lovely spacious breakfast room which is decorated with photos and keepsakes from all over the world. Emma gave us pointers on the local eateries and places to go and even filled up our water bottles for us when we went out on our hike. This is a fantastic base for walking with easy access to both the Rydd Ddu, and Snowdon Ranger paths up Snowdon as well as having several lakes and close by to the Nantile Ridge. Ty Mawr is currently up for sale which is a shame because we would definitely stay again. Thank you Emma and Menno for giving us a really lovely stay.

Staying at the Celtic Royal again we decided to treat ourselves! Slightly put off by seemingly expensive menu but the portions were amazing and food cooked to a really high standard. And then, the puddings! Amazing choice and absolutely delicious! We’ll be back - I hope!
