We visited Bangor for the evening and stumbled across this pub. Keith, Linda and Lynn were so kind and welcoming and we loved our time here!! Would recommend 100%!

Best pint of Guinness I've had in years outside of Ireland. A Guinness and an Atlantic pale for less than £9. Low ceilings, wood everywhere, toilets are pleasant, service is friendly, cubby corner, giant TVs for sport, pool table. Excellent hidden gem.

As students visiting for the first time the other day, the landlords were very welcoming and super nice to us. Will be coming back here for the sports and quiz night

In Bangor for a lovely weekend, the staff made us feel extremely welcome. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Bangor. 50p pool table will be visiting again

Such a gorgeous, friendly pub! Me and my friend were looking for somewhere to celebrate New Year, and we were immediately welcomed into this pub. The owners are so friendly and kind. 100% recommend!

Visited twice over a weekend for drinks when we hiked up Snowdon and stayed in Bangor. Probably the friendliest pub I've ever been to.... Fantastic landlord / lady, lovely bar staff, friendly 'regulars'. All round really welcoming bunch of people. Would totally visit again.... Absolutely WILL visit again if we're in the area. Thanks for your generosity, kindness and for making us feel welcome.

Top drawer, everything we wanted and more. Did the three starters for sharing and it was almost sublime, deffo going back. Our thanks to the staff.

Excellent little pub on the walk from the town centre. Has real ales in bottles but a majority aren't the ones you would ordinarily buy in a supermarket Friendly too and worth a visit.

Lovely traditional pub. Busy on a Thursday night with friendly locals and great bar staff. I popped in for one while out walking the dog and drank there until closing time.

Although advertised on the outside, no hand pulled real ales in this free house! Didn't stop as lager the only option, and the majority of bottled offerings I saw could be bought at most supermarkets.

A fantastic pub......fantastic hosts....not a chain...just how pubs used to be......

Adorable little pub with cheap drinks, a pool table & darts. Staff are absolutely incredible and their pub quiz night on a Thursday is amazingly fun.

We wandered in here after a couple of not-so-favourable experiences in other local pubs and we were bowled over with the generosity and kindness of the owners and staff in this lovely little pub! Not only did we get a great welcome but we also got some great local knowledge and advice about how to spend our weekend, topped off by a steak pasty! Great atmosphere and amazing staff. Also, trivial as it sounds, they made the perfect vodka, lime and soda and I am SOLD. We will be back! Thank you Keith, Linda and team!

Best pub in Bangor whether you're a student or a local! Keith is an absolute star, and makes your visit comfortable and nothing is too much to ask! Live sports daily, cask ale on. Our go to pub for when all family visit! They all love it!

Lovely little old school pub...

Brilliant cosy & welcoming local bar. Keith & Linda make everyone feel welcome. Both of whom mingle in with the customers and have a jangle. (Chat) Gary Roberts is also behind the bar, & I must say he pulls a cracking pint of guinness, in a nutshell I'd say it's Bangor s best Guinness for me, hence I have more than 1. Keep it up!!

Great local out of the way cosy pub. Shrine (glass cupboard) to X footballer George Best in corner. Live football on TV. Worth a visit set in back streets of Bangor.

Best pub in bangor, if you want to chill have a pint in a nice and friemdly environment then The Mostyn is for you. Being a 3rd year the mostyn has been the go to place to escape it all the owners are really nice and do care for you as soon as you walk through that door I'll be telling people about the Mostyn for as long as I remain in Bangor
