The food and service here is brilliant. The ham, Welsh cheddar and piccalilli baps are unbelievable 😋 lovely sausage rolls too. I used to shop at the Big Rock but that has gone downhill rapidly. This place is first class, will be back soon.

Good selection of freshly prepared baguettes/baps and salads, as well as some lovely cakes. Friendly service, generous portions and the shop is spacious and spotlessly clean! Enjoyed our first selection so much we returned the next day for supplies for our journey home to South Wales. So sorry we didn’t discover this place earlier in our stay!!

Had a f-a-b-u-l-o-u-s bacon and egg in an artisan bun.... gorgeous thick farm bacon, rich dark yoked egg (must be free range) and gorgeous crusty bap. Loved it thanks

I popped in here (wearing my compulsory face mask) this morning (Tuesday). This is a newly opened takeaway deli (the premises used to be occupied by Purple Moose Brewery). There was hand sanitizer available by the entrance. The interior was clean and tidy. There was a variety of hot and cold foods to choose from. I bought an individually packaged carrot cake slice which cost £2 (contactless card payment accepted). The lady behind the counter was both friendly and helpful. The cake tasted light and moist.

Had a two night stay here over the weekend of the 6th Sept and what a wonderful little place it is. Emma and Menno were the most welcoming, friendly hosts and we immediately felt like this was a home from home, our room was very cosy and complete with home made Welsh cakes that went down a treat with a cup of tea after the long drive. The breakfasts were amazing and with the added twist of a Dutch breakfast option courtesy of Menno. The tea rooms are currently closed allowing for a lovely spacious breakfast room which is decorated with photos and keepsakes from all over the world. Emma gave us pointers on the local eateries and places to go and even filled up our water bottles for us when we went out on our hike. This is a fantastic base for walking with easy access to both the Rydd Ddu, and Snowdon Ranger paths up Snowdon as well as having several lakes and close by to the Nantile Ridge. Ty Mawr is currently up for sale which is a shame because we would definitely stay again. Thank you Emma and Menno for giving us a really lovely stay.

Staying at the Celtic Royal again we decided to treat ourselves! Slightly put off by seemingly expensive menu but the portions were amazing and food cooked to a really high standard. And then, the puddings! Amazing choice and absolutely delicious! We’ll be back - I hope!
