The B&B is very neat and tidy. The room was very good. Free parking. Central location. Plenitiful breakfast. Cloudia the owner was lovely and very attentive to our needs and wants. Barmouth is a very interesting town with a long bridge across the estuary.

This was an unexpected delight. It was hard to choose from the cakes on offer but we tried a sumptuous plum bake and a poppy seed cake with a wonderfully sharp lemon icing. Would also have liked to try the impressive-looking praline layer cake. Very friendly staff and nice witty touches such as the graffiti where you would expect the mirror to be in the bathroom.

Really glad to find this gem in Barmouth. We had a really nice lunch with the soup of the day and the most amazing cheesecake. Would recommend it to anyone and check out the rubber ducks in the window too.

After a week trying to find a good cafe for lunch we came across Aber House on our last day and it was by far the best of the week. It is easily missed as it is a B&B with cafe appended with lovely seating area behind. The food was fish , well presented and very tasty.

We stopped here with my wife and 2 year old son. They had just got some new patio furniture and we fancied a coffee. The staff were very friendly and the service was good. The cakes however were lovely! And luckily our 2 year old was asleep, so we didn't have to share :-) Well worth a visit if your in the area.

We visited Aber House on a sunny afternoon and sat on the patio, in the sun. The service and staff were very good and we all had Earl Grey Tea and cake! The cakes were excellent and a very generous portion size. I would suggest visiting here if you are in Barmouth - so much so that we visited Aber House the following day!!

Popped in on our way back to the train - a lovely surprise. We sat on the pretty terrace at the rear - sheltered sun-trap with tables & chairs, umbrellas and flower filled pots. Lovely friendly young team took our order and then brought the tea & cakes out to us. Delicious homemade cookie for my husband, home-baked dog treat for the dog and praline cake for myself. I can't vouch for the cookie & dog treat as they were eaten very quickly & no sharing was mentioned - but my praline cake was rich & moist and possible one of the nicest cakes I have ever had! A very generous slice too! A real treat.

Rooms very nice, and EXTREMELY clean. They really care here. It is not a posh hotel, but it is the nicest B&B I have EVER stayed in, at ANY price. The breakfast was delicious and huge, the beds comfy, and we even had parking. All at an extremely good price. Full Marks.

The cafe at Aber House is unique and charming. A one off gem, the cakes are outstanding Proper good quality coffee comes served with a glass of water. The staff are lovely. very friendly, helpful. Lunches are good soup and a toastie very tasty and filling. Decor is welcoming, relaxed and with little oddities to buy as gifts such as a novelty bath duck gives it a quirky edge. Papers and magazines to read it is very relaxing to sit down and have some quiet time. Cannot fault cake and coffee really is superb. A place to remember, recommend and return to.

What a gorgeous cafe attached to the BnB. I stopped on a sunny day having cycled from Talsarnau. I sat on the patio at the rear and was happily tended to by the staff. Be careful though, the treats hidden within are worthy of Wonkas. I had salad and cake and before I left I bought more cake, oh and biscuits too. Regards, Barry the wondering cyclist.

This new tea room is situated to the side of a delightful Aber House B&B in the cntre of Barmouth and is run by Elisaeth Razumovsky who is a native of Vienna and still regularly travels back there. All the delicious cakes and meals are home-made with a middle-European twist. I can recommend the chocolate brownies and the soup. This place is a real find and will delight those who want to treat themselves whilst on holiday in picturesque Barmouth. Enjoy.

I popped into Aber House at the end of October 2014, on my last day in Barmouth, for takeaway cakes, as my partner and I were in a hurry to return home. We enjoyed the cakes so much we decided to give the café a try next time we were in Barmouth. Fast forward 6 months and here we are at the beginning of the season and we stopped in at the café. The cakes and the drinks were lovely and the café had a nice friendly atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble and we will definitely return on another day.

A wonderful meal at Bank. Food was amazing, very appreciative of recommendation to have fishcakes to start! Husband had goats cheese. Both absolutely yummy. Mains were just as good and my husband said the lamb was melt in the mouth. I had the plaice. Perfectedly cooked and we had a side of the best cauliflower cheese I have tasted. Service was brilliant, restaurant was busy with a lovely atmosphere. You won't be disappointed and we will definitely be back 😊

Second time we have been here and it was as good as last visit. I had the bacon ,goats cheese and pine nut pancake with honey , absolutely delicious. Daughter had the biscoff and banana and friend had smoked sausage, bacon and sauerkraut both equally good. This will definitely be on my list every time we come to visit
