JI-Binc Cafe in Denbighshire

We ordered panini for lunch and they were freshly cooked and very tasty. We also had lovely home baked cake with a pot of tea which was also delicious. Would go back.

This has got to be the best breakfast I've ever had!!! Decided on the big breakfast and I certainly wasn't disappointed, no grease in site definitely coming back when we're camping at Cai Dai again.

Though I have enjoyed slightly better chips (just my preference) we were both pleased with the quality of the food. I had ham, egg & chips and was impressed with the size and quality of the ham. We sat so I was able to see the food preparation and this was also very interesting,

This is a lovely cafe lovely to go out with family and friends. Type of cafe where there are lots of local people and you know everyone. Gorgeous food. Good service

Other than my wife expecting an American-style 'milkshake' (with ice cream), only to get a frothy glass of chocolate milk (the UK way), we both are happy that the pub attendants across the street recommended Ji-Binc for a lunchtime meal during a few hour visit to Denbigh during our North Wales holiday. The restaurant was bright & clean, service was friendly & attentive, and our meals were very good with fresh ingredients (the bread for our sandwiches being especially satisfying). Two thumbs up from these Yanks.

What a little Gem, it was 2pm and they cooked us some breakfast because we wanted it, nothing was too much trouble, the food is excellent. Breakfast came with toast, tea and Orange juice and all for £6 25. Staff were excellent, can highly recommend this place. If in Denbigh you must visit forat least a coffee 👍

Absolutely brilliant find ,myself and my mum just happened to find this little cafe around lunch time.Amazing coffee for a start off,friendly staff and delicious salads! Also very clean toilets. Just a shame i didnt have any cash on me to leave them a tip.

Absolutely delicious salads , freshly made and a bowl of home cooked chips and a warm , friendly welcome with quick and efficient service meant that I would whole heartedly recommend this lovely cafe!

What a fantastic little coffee shop this is, with lovely staff. I walked in soaked through at five minutes before closing, and they were fabulous. Very welcoming and the hospitality was unrivalled. If I'm ever passing through Denbigh again, this will be my go to. Thank you.

Absolutely disgusting services every time we go if you Welsh pop on along you will get served promptly and kindly but god help you if your English you get left waiting 10 minutes, they stand talking about you in Welsh by the tills, they make it seem like you are an inconvenience to the but are quite happy to to have your money line their pockets if it wasn’t for the fact they are one of the only few cafes in the twin they wouldn’t have many customers

Recommended by a local when looking for a bite to eat, it proved to be a good choice. My partner and I both selected the bacon, brie and cranberry panini which was accompanied by a dressed salad and coleslaw. Very tasty and filling. We topped it off by sampling a couple of hot buttered toasted teacakes. Friendly service. Good value. What more could you ask for?

I visited this cafe due to being early for a meeting and I fancied a coffee. I walked in and sat down, after a good 10 minutes of being ignored I was asked "what do you want" from a member of staff with no smile, no friendly tone to her voice. My coffee came, I wasn't offered any sugar, milk etc. When I had finished my coffee I took the cup up to the till to save them collecting it from the table, again I was ignored by the till for a good 5 minutes, I paid the bill, there was no thank you or smile. As a paying costumer I don't expect rudeness from any of the staff and I was quite disgusted to be honest, maybe a customer care course would be beneficial for the staff at this cafe, it costs nothing to be nice and have manners. I will not be returning and I would advise against going to this cafe.

Welcoming, friendly, informal - lovely wholesome food and drink at very reasonable prices and a Godsend to us looking for seomwhere to break a long journey and refresh ourselves. Thankyou!

Nice little cafe at the top on the High Street at Denbigh, has seating outside and inside. Selling various snacks and drinks at very reasonable prices. The food quality was good and the staff very friendly and efficient. Worth a visit YES

Lovely homemade food and welcoming staff, the chips are the best 👌 we had been to the glass Onion and was not a plesent experience at all, so will be coming back here again.

Frankly, it was the only place open in Denbigh after 3 p.m. when we wanted a cup of tea and a snack, which in itself is pretty horrifying. We'd walked past because it looked so grim, but were eventually forced back and went in - to find disengaged staff and a food offering that looked pretty unimpressive. However we were desperate and decided to try it - and I must admit the food was better than expected, although the drinks were pretty average. Honestly wouldn't recommend it if there was literally *anywhere* else available, but we were stuck and it was just about adequate. Will time our visits better in future, though, so that there are more and better places open.

Stopped here after visiting the 50s museum up the road. Food was fabulous, the chips were honestly the best, definitely recommend trying them!

Well worth waiting for a table. Tea served in teapots with pretty china cups. Lunch perfect and bara brith not to be missed!

My friend brought us to this cafe for lunch and recommended the Bara Brith for dessert. Lively and moist and full of fruit. I took a portion home for my hubby to try. I also had the red pepper and sweet potatoes soup with massive bread doorstops. My friends enjoyed their poached eggs on toast (perfectly cooked) and home made Victoria sponge.

We stumbled on this little find whilst on a course in Denbigh. Very friendly staff, despite being quite busy, made us feel welcome and served us very quickly.

Ffion all her staff make you feel at home they also welcome your pets outside, food is excellent from a sandwich to a cooked lunch nothing is to much trouble for them it's the best cafe around

I'm an espresso drinker, and unfortunately the dwyfor coffee seems to be a blend of arabica and cheaper robusta beans which is over roasted. It's possibly not so noticeable with latte or cuppaccino, but the espresso is pretty nasty. however ji binc caters for local customers, and the cafe is one of the most popular in Denbigh. the owner/staff are pleasant.

We called here for breakfast at 8am en route to Conway and so pleased we did.

I often call here either for the excellent breakfast or a mid-day snack - or even a drink and a cake during the day. Ffion and her staff are friendly and efficient, there is a variety of seating - sofas and tables and chairs - and a choice of reading matter. The layout means you can watch your food being prepared and watch activities on top of town at the same time. The food is excellent and always well-presented. A very good place indeed.

Ji Binc is one of our favourite haunts when we want a cafe meal with that sophisticated, classy feel where you might bump into castle visitors, white collar types and fashionistas enjoying tasty cakes and cappuccinos.

Spending a couple of nights in the area. Nice looking cafe. Very reasonable prices. We had Hawain Panni and Bacon, Brie and Cranberry. Nice dressing on the salad garnish and fresh tasting coleslaw.

Visited Denbigh a few times and often drop in here for a coffee and snacks. The coffee is excellent and served hot. I've had the thick brown toast several times- so delicious. My wife had chocolate shortbread and bara brieth, all very fresh.

its a very busy place in early hours of time in the morning.. so have patience if u want to order your breakfast.. but i bet its value for money .. a bargain for breakfast.. delicious food

Stopped in Denbigh to stretch our legs ready for a long drive back home from a couple of days in north Wales we went there the day before and had a cup of tea for two and a bara brieth cake witch was excellent. Going back to the breakfast it was amazing , excellent value for money we opted for the large breakfast at £6.25 which included orange juice , tea or a coffee on the plate was black pudding two local farm sausages two danish bacon rashers thick doorstep toast beans tomatoes mushrooms egg what a lovely establishment staff were very friendly will definitely be going back there on our travels in the future highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fui hasta el mostrador y yo me dijeron que habría alguien conmigo. . . No reconocer que había estado sentado allí por un largo tiempo. Yo tenía un sandwich que estaba bastante bien pero la ensalada y plato estaban mojadas. Nadie llegó a la mesa de modo claro fui a pedir otra copa. Sentí que tenía que ser demasiado lindo para cualquier respuesta. Aún no mucho. Sin duda el servicio más let's. Los altavoces reciben un recibimiento más cálido de Gales. . . . Popped into here after visiting Denbigh Castle as it looked nice from the outside.Had a coffee and a delicious slice of cake which were reasonable value. The staff were really friendly and welcoming which was appreciated.

Called in here for the first time today.Staff were nice and friendly.Me and hubby had jacket potato with salad and coleslaw.One tuna mayo one cheese bacon and beans.Potatoes were nice and hot and the fillings were more than generous.salad was very comprehensive with a really nice dressing.Would definitely call again if in the area.

I have my lunch there several times a week. The cafe is clean and the food is tasty and reasonably priced. The proprietor and staff are polite and friendly. It is popular with locals - which is a good sign.I like to hear the staff chatting in Welsh,which adds to the local ambience.

Came in to do some work on the laptop and have a coffee, asked for the wifi code which was reluctantly given out with some awkward stares. Had the staff gawping at me for a while before coming over to tell me I would have to move to the back of the cafe because the table I was on had been booked ?? even though no one mentioned this when I came in and sat down. I left shortly after that.

This café for some reason only had one choice of coffee which was weak to say the least, my wife wished to use the toilets after purchase but was refused,and tables were barricading access to the toilet, the staff were rude and disinterested as if we were just a nuisance. Maybe if we spoke welsh we would have been treated more cordially,will not return

Called in for a coffee and piece of toast at about 9.15 am. I had coffee which was nice and strong and a piece of thick toast. The toast was ok but a bit on the stodgy side. The breakfasts looked ok coming out. Some of the staff were very nice but some seemed a little disinterested. It was ok. I used to work in Denbigh for twelve years and the Pantri was always my favourite. Haven't tried that for ages and so that is why I thought I would give Ji Binc a try.

My friends and I quite often meet up for either morning coffee or lunch.. The staff are always welcoming.. Prices are very reasonable.. I have had numerous different dishes but I still enjoy the jacket potato with a tuna filling and salad..

We visited Caffi Ji Binc in November 2015. It's always warm and cosy. We just had tea, scones and tea cake as a snack for our shopping trip. The food is very good, the staff are friendly and it is always an enjoyable stop in town. Toilets are upstairs which is difficult for people with mobility issues though. It always our refreshment stop when we come to Denbigh.

We popped in to this cafe on a visit to Denbigh. The exterior is plain but the interior attractive and welcoming. The coffee was excellent and the proprietor was very friendly and we would definitely visit this coffee shop if we came to Denbigh again.

With the castle and parking very close by this is a good little cafe to get a tea or coffee, reasonably priced and located on the main Vale street in the town.

Monday 9th November 2015, had an hour to kill waiting for the Citizens Advice Office (CAB) to open.Got a nice seat at the back with a wonderful view of Denbigh High Street waking up on a Monday morning. First impression, everything was spotlessly clean with an open plan food preparation area.After studying the menu ordered the big Breakfast which comes with Toast Coffee and also Orange Juice. Grilled Tomato, 2 wonderful Bodidris award winning Chipolata Sausages, Nice moist Black Pudding, Freshly grilled Mushrooms and to top it off a perfect Free Range Fried Egg. Forgot of course the 2 generous rashers of back bacon.The lady who took my order and served up the food was very nice friendly. Importantly she can deal with both Welsh and English Speakers equally well.Paid the bill and congratulated the very attractive lady Chef who I had been able to watch preparing my food within a spotless open plan kitchen area. They have a customer loyalty scheme, collect stamps and get a free hot drink.

PT :-) and I love our egg butties and having enjoyed some of the best food when living in the North East we were on a mission to find an equivalent in Wales. Unfortunately we didn't really find it here at Ji-Binc Cafe. The staff were courteous but not particularly friendly, the wait for 2 eggs butties was extraordinarily long, and the price was really quite elevated for what we received... it would seem that the search for an outstanding egg buttie in Wales continues.SW :-)

I've been here quite a few times and every time they have not disappointed. The food is always fresh and made to order. The staff are very friendly and I love the fact you can speak Welsh or English with them. The atmosphere is pleasant and the Cafe is decorated very quaintly. Highly Recommend the place!!

a good friendly meeting place for a snack or more substantial lunch. The food is prepared in the open kitchen and the lunch specials vary each day. Welsh spoken although not compulsory! Have been known to deliver food to sick regulars but I don't think that they deliver regularly.

A fabulous cafe in the heart of Denbigh. Fresh delicious sandwiches and delicious homemade soup. Quality coffee and tasty cakes. It's very popular with locals and visitors to the town. Ideal location for people watching. Comfy settees in the window with plenty of newspapers and tables and proper dining chairs inside. You always get a welcome from the owner and her staff. Denbigh welcome at it's best.
