The best restaurants serving British food in North Wales

Came in for food early Thursday evening, what a disaster! 10 minutes after ordering the fire alarm went off and it seemed no member of staff knew how to turn it off or organise the pub. Management whilst scrambling around trying to work out what to do left a young girl to attend to all the tables and disgruntled customers. After 35 minutes of sitting with a fire alarm going off, Dave finally found out how to turn it off great.. or not, with no sign of our food after an hour and being told twice it’d be 5 minutes we decide to get a refund and head home. Management of this pub definitely need a refresher on how to handle a fire alarm going off as we weren’t the only customers to notice how badly managed this situation was.

The staff were really attentive and friendly making me feel very welcome, had a lovely evening and will definitely be coming back for another visit. 10 out of ten!! Spent about £7- 8 per drink. very reasonable.

We called in tonight after watching the fireworks on the pier. It was busy but the service was great. We ordered pizzas and some chips from the beer garden area and the pizza was incredible. I lost had some salt and pepper chips which were very tasty. I would defo go back again. 👍

Lovely food with a really good choice and very good value for money . We were served very quickly and the staff were so helpful and welcoming .

We had a lovely bottle of wine in our first evening and the ambience was great. So we booked a meal. Got to the restaurant on time to find that our booking was not booked at all. We were so upset as we were even given the choice of tables when we booked. As it was festival weekend we couldn’t get in anywhere else and our evening was spoilt

The bar staff work hard all day everyday but the landlord just leaves them on there own even during busy periods to Change barrels collect glasses and wash and restock all whilst he's either walking his dog or sat upstairs

Terrible experience from start to finish. Awful atmosphere, a cold dining room that was more like a school food hall. No music playing and a general lack of ambience. Food was very poor and the price did not reflect this. Roast dinner was average and pasta was greasy. On the whole, cold, uninviting and would not recommend to a friend

Just got Fish and chips from here..£7.00 more or less...Nice but I have never had such a small portion ...Would put me off going again...

What a lovely establishment and staff. Ordered a BLT sandwich which I thought at the time was a little expensive, but I take that back it was a meal it’s self, freshly made on lovely fresh bread which it also included crisps and fresh side salad. So congratulations to all members of staff on excellent food and service. We’ll be back again I can assure you

Great food, great service and atmosphere And a great little quiz on Friday night

Second time here, this time with my girlfriend for a catch up to see my daughter . The place is spotless , comfortable , clean and quiet . The food and drink is fantastic . Thank you for a lovely relaxing stay again .
