Went to Lorne to watch the football on Sunday 13th August with my son brother and girlfriend beer was great value great atmosphere

What a lovely friendly barmaid. Atmosphere nice and quiet but that was due to the time of day. Very reasonably priced, definetly will go there again

Called in on day trip with family and dogs for a quick drink, and the female behind the bar came storming over and said no kids or dogs very rudley and to leave. Would avoid this pub at all costs as the bar staff very rude

Shocking place to go AVOID! can’t serve an 18 year old a glass of coke but can serve what looked like an 18 year old a pint of Guinness! It was like you were being looked over. When the old git behind the bar asked us for the ID, she gave us the most dirtiest luck ever. AVOID THIS PLACE

Typical Craft Union boozer, drinks exceptionally cheap but only ever one server to keep costs down. Cheap beer attracts the benefits / disability scooter brigade, what's not to like 😊

Nice and busy which is great to see. A nice pint of Worthingtons cream flow. Clean and welcoming, Staff really friendly loads of TVs with Premiership football. Well done all.

Rudest reception I’ve ever had by any customer facing bar staff and the slowest serving of two drinks. The bar staff said when I asked, if they were short staffed, they replied the other girl’s not due on until later and the gaffer had ‘buggered off’ and doesn’t care. But I suppose he’s happy as long as there’s a profit.

The Lorne pub in Rhyl is quite a nice pub & Restaurant aswell

My mother and I went into the Lorne for a drink the other day when she ran into a very unfriendly female member of staff. My mother is 77 and hard of hearing. She wanted to use the toilet but was abruptly told she had to buy a drink to use the toilet, which she was about to do. Being hard of hearing, she repeated her question about where the toilet was, only to be told again, in a rude tone, that she would have to buy a drink. She then went to order a drink and with each request was told, rudely "we don't have that" until she picked a drink they did have.Trying to socially distance, she stood at a standing table with hazard tape over it and was again told, in a not too friendly tone to sit down and not stand at the table due to whatever Covid restrictions they had going. This meant sitting down next to a member of the public, placing her, at 77 and in a vulnerable age group, close to a person whom she did not know. I'm pretty sure public health officials would disagree with their management of people's safety.But really appalling behavior from the staff member too.

It was one of the best pubs in Rhyl. Now it's just cheap. Beers gone downhill and the staff/manager really know how to make you feel unwelcome. If you want friendly staff and GOOD cheap beer...go to the Bodfa.

Probably not the best pub in the world but the drinks were ok and not overly priced. Customers were happy to engage in conversation. They had a DJ and some karaoke- not for me, but if you like it, why not?

I felt as if I was an inconvenienice as the girl serving finished eating a snack and almost looked at me. I attempted conversation but wish I hadn't. The customers however were great, met some lovely people. Don't think they will stick around if the karaoke leaves though...

Toilet stank. Could not use it. Loud music. But the lager was £1_15 for a half pint. Won't go there again.

Got asked to leave because children weren't allowed in there after walking past the whole length of the bar without any staff saying anything, only for a female bar staff maybe landlady came up to me saying I had to leave, I told her I would leave after I finished my drink n said I wasn't aware children weren't allowed in her reply in a snotty reply if she loses her job it will be my fault, my daughter was sat quietly n was so upset she said she would stand outside on her own, obviously I told her no, no clear signs that I seen saying kids weren't allowed in there, fuming ain't the word

Decent pub with well priced drinks

I like this place. It's a pleasant space and a nice place to go for a pint. Being on the High Street it's got a good view if you're into a bit of people watching The clientèle is usually pretty friendly and a good bunch. I've heard some hassle outside the place, but nothing remarkable or violent

Great saloon , plenty of room to leave your horse outside , ordered a whiskey for me and the little lady , bartender went outside and fed my trusty stead with hay and a bucket of water. Shefiff malcom was in town so all was calm just tumble weed blowing down the street. At high noon there was a entertainment there was double cheesburgers at 7 pace's

Was told kids where aloud in.. 2hrs later was told they had to leave !! Apparently no kids policy, nice pint when u can get one tho, needs more staff the poor bloke behind the bar was rushed of his feet n couldn't appoligise enough for the wait.. don't think we will go back.

A good pub with a good selection of beers at a nice price

The glasses were dirty, the music volume was excessive, making having a conversation difficult, and the seating/benches needed repairing. Wanted somewhere dog friendly and warm to sit for a lunch time chat with my Mum.

Not bad, they have live music, it does get a bit busy on a Friday & Saturday night.

Popped into town decided to have a stop off before getting bus back, pleased we did really nice bar man with a beard served us, great atmosphere everyone friendly good to sit down and have a chat and the prices are good, clean and tidy toilets clean too, recommend here great pub

Stopped off for a few drinks nice atmosphere bar man seemed nice, prices good too, mens and ladies loos were clean no seat on one of ladies loos, we sat at this table and plenty of space in there 2 old blokes came and sat right by us not asking if the other 2 chairs were taken the 1 old man who sat beside me promptly took out a e cigarette and started puffing away on it which the barman didn't do anything about which I thought was strange because I thought it was illegal to use inside buildings, thought this was disgusting as it stunk, would go back in there for a drink though

Very cheap town centre boozer which explains why people were falling around drunk in the early afternoon. Lots of big screnes showing Sky sports.

It's OK, but feels bit dowdy, not overly clean. Don't sit at far end near the gents toilets!

Called in during the afternoon and had a wine. Lovely pub lots of atmosphere. Went back in the evening and it was packed . There was karaoke..and everyone was singing. Had a brilliant couple of hours in there would go again.
