Called at the Corn Mill for lunch having pre booked a table in a mobility friendly area, which the staff were very helpful with. We had a really nice meal, it was fairly busy but the staff were very helpful. Fabulous position on the banks of the River Dee

A romantic early evening dinner, lovely table . views, warm,,,nice welcome,,long long wait for dinner,,, My lamb dinner was chewy, was expecting a lamb bone, but the white bone was set adrivift in a sea of lamb scrags, Patronising sever with assured me it was not a ready meal,,,I have had better, This is a tourist trap, passing themselves as a restaurant,,.

Enjoyed a new year's eve meal at The Corn Mill Llangollen . Busy night with both drinkers and diners but felt like we were special by the staff . Some wonderful finishes to make our experience special . Both my wife and myself highly recommend and will return .

We called in for lunch, we didn’t have a booking but they found us a table. The food was lovely, very fresh and lots of choice. The bar area is very cosy and we had a lovely table over looking the water. The staff were also lovely, there was a lady who had worked there for years who was so attentive and came to chat with us, we had a lovely time here and it’s definitely worth a visit if you are in Llangollen but don’t forget to book as it’s always so busy

My favorite restaurant in Wales. The decor upstairs feels like you’re dining in a cottage. The waitstaff are friendly and attentive. I had the best Boeuf Bourguignon, but I believe they called it something else. Intense, rich flavor where the suggested house red paired nicely. Highly recommend! And the location can’t be beat. A nice walk along the river after dinner made for a perfect evening.

Food not as good as it used to be in past

Very poor NYE. Starters took over an hour to come. Mains took an hour and fifteen. Zero atmosphere, lights were really bright and no background music. Real feel of the team there just trying to get to the end of the Christmas period. Food was reasonable

Beautiful setting by the river and lovely historic decor. The menu was great and cooked to perfection. Service was the icing in the cake. Can't wait to go back.

Excellent food, great service, lovely location

Very disappointed as I was looking forward to eating here. We booked a table at 730 arrived on time and were promptly seated. We ordered our food and got a glass of still water and a small bottle of sparkling. That's the last we saw of anyone. Sat there for over 59 minutes. Not a single person came to see how we were doing, did we need anything or offer any explanation. Absolutely no sign of a manager at any point. Stopped at the bar to pay £2.50 for the sparkling water and left. Oh well. I can understand if they are busy with large groups, parties or whatever. I wasn't too impressed with being completely ignored for nearly an hour.

This is our second year we've enjoyed a Christmas Eve meal here. We had the most wonderful table with delicious food, the staff & service was fabulous & our waitress was very polite & friendly...couldn't have been more helpful. Absolutely love it here!

A beautiful pub, great food, nice stuff. We especially enjoyed cauliflower and cheddar soup, but mains were very nice too. Generous portions. The views of the river Dee from inside are beautiful. Service was great. Would recommend and hope to come again!

Warm & cosy for winter & outdoor balcony for summer The corn mill has it all Nice cask Ale for Dads & selection of Spirits & wine for mum soft drinks for the kids Food is amazing too I had rump steak pepper sauce Portobello mushrooms & chips Wifey had turkey lunch We both enjoyed our meals my steak was cooked perfectly to my taste The service was brilliant as we changed our seating moving tables for a quiet spot with a view. The food we got was excellent but unfortunately it took forever to come and then they forgot the starters so we just had mains which was disappointing get it sorted conmill you used to be so on point

We booked 2 months in advance for 7pm, when the confirmation came through it was for 7.45. We got there and were shown to our tables in by a friendly waitress. She came and took our drinks order, and eventually took our food order. We then waited over an hour for our food, chasing twice to see when we would be served. When the food eventually arrived it was really nice, but it was now 9.15pm. The staff did apologise and gave us a free round of drinks but this level of service wasn't really what we were expecting.

Absolutely wonderful. Beautifully restored building. Cosy and welcoming. Friendly attentive staff, really felt above and beyond expectations. Food and drinks were speedy and delicious. Really could have given it 10 stars!

Restaurant was decent, however, would not recommend this town to tourists. We paid to park all day in the county lot and yet they have been trying to extort us for a false parking citation ever since. Would recommend going to any other town with less petty and extortionate government bureaucrats.

Fantastic. AMAZING food. The chefs clearly know and love what they're doing. Everything was seasoned perfectly. We tweaked the menu slightly, and nothing was too much trouble. Great restaurant, great food and fantastic service

Visited The Corn Mill on the 11th of November, and we had a fantastic dining experience. My wife and I both opted for the Chicken Coq au Vin pie, which was absolutely delicious—comforting, rich, and full of flavor. We followed up with the Biscoff cheesecake for dessert, which was the perfect sweet finish, creamy with just the right amount of crunch and Biscoff flavor. The ambiance of The Corn Mill added to the experience, with its historic charm and views over the river. The staff were excellent, incredibly attentive, and made us feel very welcome. All in all, a memorable meal and a lovely evening out. We’d highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Llangollen!

Stunning pub by the river and the decks are such a novelty to tourists! Unfortunately due to not having a booking we weren't served food but we did enjoy a lovely drink by the scenery. 💯 Recommend!

Fantastic food heaven, we had a three course meal and everything was cooked well and tasted delicious. I had a shoulder of lamb and the meat was so tender I could eat every bit. Very good value for money.

We came here for a nice Sunday evening meal but we found it lacking. The staff were great, friendly and accommodating. We were sat down quickly. We ordered our main courses and then waited. And waited. When the food came, my wife really enjoyed her seabass. My roast beef was nice but the Yorkshire pudding was so dry and overcooked it tasted more like a prawn cracker. The potatos was so hard they were inedible. We would’ve stayed and had desert and more drinks, but by the end of the meal we just decided to go home.

Excellent Sunday toast overlooking the river. Really wonderful place, ok service, and good food. I recommend arriving early for lunch or making a reservation

We stopped here for lunch and had an amazing experience. The interior was fantastically decorated, the views of the river were stunning, staff were attentive and the food was impeccable. It is a little pricy but it's definitely worth it for the standards provided. Also impressed by the range of beers and ciders on tap. Will definitely be visiting again!!

A lovely dog friendly restaurant with great views of the river. The food was great, with high quality ingredients. The service was good (even though it was busy) and whilst it was a big restaurant with lots of tables the layout made it feel more intimate. Definitely one we would go back to.

Fabulous pub/restaurant recommended by local friends. Atmosphere welcoming. Staff were great, professional, friendly and attentive. Great menu choices, we had seabass and lamb plus desserts which arrived promptly, beautifully presented and very tasty. Definately advise pre-booking as full despite being a Monday evening. Highly recommend.

We found ourselves finishing our white water rafting round the corner from here, our instructors suggested this place for some food and a pit stop. Superb views and ample seating indoors and out in a very busy establishment. The food matched the view and we already want to return to try more from the menu. Very impressed!! Lots of options also for our fussy vegan friend

Great venue with an amazing location. It's a much bigger building than you realise with rooms branching off in all directions. There's also plenty of seating outside to watch the world (and river) go by.

Was passing through a bit hungry and seen this establishment pop up. Popped upstairs to be greeted by very friendly staff.no table booked but they made it happen. Ordered the food that arrived piping hot and tasted amazing. The bread and butter pudding was out of this world. Definitely on our list of must go back.

The food was amazing, the staff were lovely and the views are beautiful. Definitely recommend dropping in if you're in the area. It's a nice easy walk from the Llangollen Basin if you're staying in a canal boat. :)

A Gem in Llangollen I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Corn Mill in Llangollen, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience. The restaurant's charming atmosphere, combined with its delicious food and outstanding service, made for a truly memorable evening. The dishes were nicely presented and full of flavour. I was particularly impressed by the freshness and quality of the ingredients. The Coq au vin pie was very good. But what truly sets The Corn Mill apart was the exceptional service. Erin, in particular, was absolutely fantastic. Her friendly and attentive manner made us feel welcome and valued from the moment we arrived. She was knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations. She really made our parents feel special while celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. If you're looking for a delightful dining experience in Llangollen, I highly recommend The Corn Mill. The combination of fantastic food, impeccable service, and charming atmosphere makes it a must-visit.

Had a fantastic Sunday lunch at The Cornmill. Food & drinks were excellent, staff really friendly and helpful. The location is stunning, and we had a table by the window with a lovely view. Will definitely go back.

A rainy day walk to Llangollen Castle, the perfect pub to seek shelter. Warm, cosy, inviting. Best veggie curry I’ve had in a while, the lamb shoulder and the smoked salmon are great too. Worth the visit

Had a visit whilst away for my sisters 40th birthday and booked here for lunch 🙂 Everything was fab, the venue, the service, the menu and the views. The menu was fab especially for those that are gluten free, little bit limited for lactose free but I was happy with the fish and chips anyway. Portions are big so we were glad we did not have a starter. Highly recommended 👍 but advise to book before you visit if having food.

Popped in without a reservation but had a walk welcome and was accommadated straight away. Lovely historic place with nooks and crannies, simple tables having nice views of the river dee. My food was stunning!

Nice location by the river good views and dog friendly. Salmon and chard starter nice flavour. Steak burger good quality and nice fillings. Chips were good too. Nice glass of Shiraz to wash it all down. Nice atmosphere. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

There was a mistake with the meal order, these things happen. The response was fantastic they immediately worked it out and kept us really well informed.

Called in for lunch. Restaurant is upstairs but it is spread over a lot of floors. We both had cheese and onion pie which was really good. Long time since we've had hot beetroot as a vegetable. Service was prompt and efficient.

Excellent place to eat and drink. Nice clean bar and dining areas. Outside seating overlooking the river. Best of all, many gluten free choices for coeliac disease folks, good draught ales, dog friendly, clean toilets and friendly staff. Highly recommended, especially the gluten free fish and chips 😋

Visited as A group of seven on a Sunday evening. Nice atmosphere and generally good food.I had a slight problem with Yorkshire pudding, but this was resolved promptly and professionally I would without a doubt return again for a meal.

Chose the right day to eat here as the sun was out in mid September -

Had to send food back chicken was cold and chips were cold expensive for what you got too

Visited today and had a lovely cheese & onion pie, will hopefully get a table tomorrow 👍
