Got a caravan in towyn but always nice place to head for nice drink and cracking price top marks.

Great proper pub. In the area to see The Alarm and the staff and regulars were very friendly and welcoming. Daffodils everywhere and good very cheap beer. Recommended! Come here rather than the Spoons 👍🏻

Myself and my girlfriend went to Rhyl with my family for a couple of days for birthdays and we went into the George for some drinks and to watch the football atmosphere was great the people were really friendly enjoyed our time in the George

Excellent service & a good pint of Fosters & Black. Not over priced and a cracking atmosphere to boot. Well worth a visit.

Not a food pub. Excellent service, great atmosphere, music was loud but the jukebox was varied. Locals welcoming. No children, very good for adults who want a break from kids. Loved it, recommend.

We used to come here all time and we always brought our dog but the last time we went we were told to leave because of our dog ( shitzu/poodle cross) the only difference was our sister was breast feeding and it was very clear it made the people to our left uncomfortable and they complained. One of the staff then came and kicked us out. Don't go here. They boycot breastfeeding women and you will be asked to leave.

Great staff, clean and tidy always

Me and a colleague popped in here for a few drinks when we were in Rhyl on a recent business trip. What a quaint lovely place it is. Also the locals in there were friendly and a family sat at the table next to us even offered us some chips they'd just got from the take away across the road (not that the pub allows you to eat your own food in there but I think they made an exception on that particular occasion). The atmosphere was friendly and the barmaid was great. The pub itself has character and gives the feel that you could be back in the 1970s \ 80's particualry as they had music playing from those decades (not too load either). But the led screens in there then remind you are in 2020's and the fact you can pay contactlessely by Google pay in there. In the back room they had the biggest LED screen I have ever seen. You'll see it in the attached picture behind my colleague. All in all a quaint nice and friendly pub. Not sure if they served food though. So it's a 5 out of 5 from me.

It's a decent looking pub once your inside, but that's where it ends!! It's not a proper pub, as it does not sell real ale. All lager tastes the same to me, unless it's strong!!

Excellent pub excellent staff and friendly locals felt so relaxed in this pub. Like the fact that they don’t serve shots keeps the tone of the place down and no need for riff raff credit to the owner

just been told to leave this pub because we had a child in the beer garden. they dont allow children after 3pm on a week day.?? there are no notices up in the pub to tell you this. you just get asked to leave. myself and to of the other three people im with are licenesses. the woman that was behild the bar was not very friendly either.. it costs nothing to smile 😁 with a witherspoons pub over the road. should be more welcoming

The George is a really friendly pub centrally situated in the middle of town. The drinks prices are excellent and the pub is clean and comfortable.The staff,(especially Danielle) are very pleasant and hard working. Occasional live entertainment usually on Sat nights. quiet on some nights and very busy on others. Popular with locals and visitors alike.

Really enjoyable night, memories brought back from over twenty years but can guarantee still the place to be in Rhyl .

The best pint of Guinness I've had in a long time and at a very reasonable price will visit again a great lunchtime trade .

We holidayed in north wales and although the George doesn't let dogs in the pub they were more than happy for us to use the beer garden with out furry friend. Above all the staff were very helpful and the beer very good, with Carling lager at £2.20 per pint that's a bargain. Great place with good atmosphere.

Afternoon tea for two is highly recommended especially if you sit in the conservatory? Free parking too just pop to caption first.

Called in here for drinks and live singer on but it was so loud that you could not talk and even shouting you could hardly hear each other! Very nice inside and drinks reasonably priced but the volume spoiled it for us. There was a nice couple in there from the same B&B as us and we would have gone to chat to them if chatting had been possible. Also, we would have stayed longer but as it was we left after one round of drinks!

Ordered vegetable bake which was so tiny that it barely consisted of three spoonfuls!! Maybe a single floret of broccoli one carrot and lots of white sauce Will not be going back!!! It's a shame as visited in past and was much more enjoyable Oh yes and place was NOT Busy at the time either by the way so no excuse!

Después de estar unos 5 minutos nos sentaron nosotros mismos, camarera nunca una vez nos dijo que si estaba completo servicio de mesa o no. No es así, tras pedir comida y conseguir mi cambio casi tirado en que intentó pedir bebidas y me dijeron que ordenar separado 1 pies. 40 minutos más tarde, la comida llegó, que no nos podemos quejar fue muy buena y caliente. traían y salchichas de Spaghetti con patatas fritas. No había papel Toliets toliets y aseos balancín, no muy agradable. No creo que volveremos

estado aquí en varias ocasiones y todo lo que pedimos ha sido muy fresco y sabroso. Mi tarta casera favorita de bistec mmm. El pub es limpio y el personal es muy amable. Cenas de asado cada día. a un precio muy razonable lo que debe hacer cuando visite Rhyl para comer x. Todo x bien hecho

Visitamos el hotel George para almorzar con dos adultos y dos niños pequeños (de 6 y 4). El lugar es un poco anticuados, decoración tradicional de pub, pero está limpio y ordenado, y no estaba lleno. El menú es bastante básico, pero tiene una buena selección de comida. Mis 6 años tenía los nuggets de pollo y papas fritas del menú infantil y el resto de nosotros elegimos el asador de pollo (con mi hijo de 4 años tener una porción del niño). Las carnes asadas para comida era excelente - muy buen tamaño de porción con mucha verdura, incluyendo zanahorias, judías verdes, huevos duros y patatas asadas, y dos pequeños le das flanes. La porción de incluso los niños era de buen tamaño. El precio es muy razonable y el servicio era rápido y amable.
