We often call in to the bar post-walk for refreshments. However, no tea available and the price of one black coffee, blackcurrant cordial and two packets of crisps was £10.50...this seemed at bit pricey to me so we, unfortunately, after visiting for years, won't be back.

Chose Chateau Rhianfa for our family’s Father’s day lunch celebration, and we really couldn’t have chosen a more perfect location. Our meal could not have been more delicious, and the presentation and value for money (£30 for a choice of three courses) was top-notch!! Oh and everyone in our party (7) received a free pint to celebrate Father’s Day!! Highly recommended.

We waited almost 1 hours for lunch. We asked how long it would be after waiting 40 minutes and never got an answer after the woman walked to the kitchen the cafe wasn’t busy, infact it was quiet. The breakfast wasn’t anything special… it was expensive for what it was and wasn’t what we’d call a large breakfast.

Visited this Bakery on 4th July, was the 2nd day of a 10 day holiday. I bought a steak bake and an incorrectly reheated sausage roll ( Barely Tepid...a massive NO NO) I have to say the sausage roll tasted and looked absolutely rank leading to me throwing at least half of it away. 2/3 Hours after consuming I started with a fever which soon led to the most violent Diahorreah you can imagine, this continued for 19 days totally destroying my ( and my wifes) holiday. Upon returning home my doctor confirmed that my test results did indeed show Campylobacter ( Typical of incorrectly reheated meat). The only positive I can draw from this experience is that I will now gave to return to Wales and have the holiday that Chatwins ruined for me.
