Whitehall in Gwynedd

Me and my boyfriend visited, the staff were lovely! The women behind the bar had great costumer service! The gent who served us was so lovely! The food was delightful my boyfriend had the full rib special saying it’s was easily the nicest he’s ever had! We will definitely be coming again 10/10

We were on a day out to Tywyn and could not find many places suitable to eat, we suddenly spotted this place. It was very quiet in there which concerned us at high summer but we went ahead and chose a meal each for lunch. Literally amazing food, well presented and worth the money. The music was playing but we were happy with the selection of music and had a nice relaxing lunch before spending the afternoon at the beach.

Popped in for a drink and couldn’t help but order the Sunday lunch! Very generous portions. Nicely cooked veg. Cauliflower cheese was lovely. Very reasonably priced. The pub is dog friendly. Always a regular when we holiday in the area.

We ate two of the tandoori sizzlers between 5 of us with the trimmings and it was more than enough and absolutely beautiful food!

Atmosphere was good, staff welcoming, food awful. Had burger to which was cold. Chips were soggy. Fat dripping onion rings. However received a full refund. Been there previously an food was good. Looks like it's very hit and miss and when it's miss it's bad.

Booking is recommended here but you may be lucky enough to get in, particularly on meal-deal nights. This is a take us as you find us pub that does serve good honest food.
