The best restaurants serving British food in Wales

Had some takeaway veggie burgers and fries - really good food, generous portions. Ordered by email the previous day, received a reply acknowledging the order and another one confirming the price. Good to have that communication. When I went to collect it the staff were friendly and my order was ready in just a couple of minutes. The place was quite busy and there was a nice atmosphere. Interesting location on a farm - good idea. I'd definitely go again if in the area.

After a funneral in Narberth, the family invited us to The Alpha Inn for afternoon tea. The room was warm and cosy with wood fires. The tables were laid with China and freshly made sandwiches and cakes. The staff were excellent, making sure fresh pots of tea and coffee were brought to the table throughout. Perfect for work or for just a get away

I came here today with my friend. We both has curry it was so good and so cheap and such a big portion. Such a lovley place. I will be coming back

Great pub and art gallery. Beer is always excellent with very good prices. Kevin's art is wonderful hung around the walls and the pool table and darts are always popular.

We booked for High tea the food was excellent service friendly just what Six Bells needs we will definitely be back well done

What a warm welcome having come from the coffee shop opposite (which was a really poor visit) a huge difference in atmosphere you ladies were amazing, engaging with my 5 month old granddaughter. No rush for us to leave, lovely conversation everything in this establishment is first class including the greeting. Will definitely be back thank you

Amazing place - great food and drinks. My wife and I called in and had wonderful service with a lovely smile from Meg. We didn't have a dog with us but it was like being in a family home with the dogs all feeling really at home. There were others without dogs too and the dogs were so friendly that they were able to enjoy them. If you love dogs, do go whether yours is with you or not . However we stopped by for a warm drink and a cake and it did not disappoint. Delicious cake and cookie selection to go with beautiful warm drinks which were as warm as the welcome Meg gave us. Thank you Meg and Baileys. This place is a must visit in Carmarthen!!

With Stephanie Edwards Just had the Turkey, stuffing, chipolates baguette with homemade chips. It was AMAZING DELICIOUS 10 out of 10. You need to go and try this cafe

Owners were very accommodating and friendly, especially with a large group. Curry night was great. Would love to go back again and highly recommend.
