The best restaurants in Wales

First time trying here , Plenty of car parking outside, I like that they have kept it looking old scool inside instead of the over the top modern bakerys like gregs etc They have a huge selection of breads , pies , sandwiches etc , Quality is 5/5 ive had my fair share of sandwiches but these are definitely up there as one of the best as the fillings aren't cheap , Chix Tika & mint was so nice and the Chinese chicken had large bits of chicken in (you can taste the quality) I also had a Tiffin cake that was nice , The 2 ladies that were serving were really nice and had good customer service, Definitely worth mentioning they spoke Welsh wich is nice as most places waste the English language around here, Would definitely go there again 5/5 , Cost was good also 2 small baps , 1 cake and a packet of crisps £10 .

Food was amazing and quick delivery considering roads were crap didn't realise how bad until you got here massive thank you

Preciosa comida tailandesa que estaba caliente y sabrosa. Recomendaría encarecidamente el curry tailandés verde. Para hacerlo aún mejor, es compatible con perros. Sin duda recomiendo una visita.

Another epic Omelette and the Prawn Cocktail was to die for 10/10 The staff couldn’t do enough for you as usual , it’s the best Bacon I’ve tasted really thick I asked the young member of staff where she gets it from she told me Peters Food Service

Visited again 4/8/24. Our Calamari and home made soup starters were really good. The carvery meat and all vegetables were cooked beautifully and plenty of choice. Although it was very busy the service was efficient with no wait and also no feeling of being rushed. The young man who looked after us was friendly and professional - as were all the staff there. Excellent value for money. If you've not been then try it. You won't be disappointed.

We are regular visitors to the Orme View Training Restaurant and on every occasion we are treated to the finest food and impeccable service. It always feels like a very special treat no matter how often we dine. We look forward to returning again in September. Sadly, fine food and excellent service are rare combinations these days, and the Orme View students and staff deliver all of this in abundance. The students and supporting staff are a credit to the hospitality profession. Thank you so much.

Los pasteles y sándwiches eran muy buenos. El personal era muy amable. Las baguettes estaban muy bien hechas. El pan tradicional de panini era sabroso.

Great food and drink at great prices, really friendly people. Supporting the local community and lots of locally produced art and craft is available to buy there. Well worth a visit to eat, drink, buy takeout or buy art and crafts. Highly recommended.

Found by accident really when looking for site, with hard standing!!!! Near friends in Pontypool. Dale and his father were very very welcoming. Facilities great and very clean. EHU was a bonus, especially in the winter months. Was made very welcome in the nights we went into the pub. Hopefully they will serve food again. Fully understand difficult at the moment as Dale suffering with poorly foot bless him. Would only like to suggest time on and time off due to the very narrow road in, especially for a caravan. Lovely place freshly baked bread and cakes great service and friendly welcome. Sandwiches were tasty and the coffees and hot chocolates lovingly prepared. Lovely decor
