We had arrived at our hotel earlier than expected and hoped that we would be able to get a snack or sandwich, but were politely told that food wasn’t served during the day. However we were directed to Blueberries in the town. We had to pay £1 to park the car as this was also where a market was held each Saturday. The menu was really quite extensive including a selection of salads, paninies, salads, ice creams, and Welsh cakes. There was also a selection of teas and coffees.

It was my first time visiting this lovely cafe. We're to start: from the front it is really inviting then travel inside and even though it looks small from the outside it is quite big on the inside. The staff are so warm and welcoming and so very friendly. The food was excellent and a generous portion. I ask if they could change the salad if possible and they changed the lettuce for me which I thought was so kind. I would recommend anyone who lives or visits Anglesey to stop and enjoy the hospitality of this lovely little restaurant. I will certainly be back for lovely food but especially the staff who treats everyone like a friend.

The Blueberries cafe is a little gem it is situated in the carpark. The cafe provides free parking to the side of the cafe . I went with my daughter we were greeted with a friendly smile. From the outside it only looks small I was surprised how many tables was inside. The cafe offers a wide range of homemade cakes and a large selection of food and drinks .There is a access for anyone with a disability at the back of the cafe and the staff are all too happy to help if you require any assistance. There is tables outside if you are with your dog so everyone is catered for. There is a customer toilet which is spotless. The food was of a high standard and I would recommend the jacket potatoes they are the best I have ever had it comes with a lovely side salad. The cafe was spotless throughout and the friendliness of the staff makes your experience special. All in all I would highly recommend this little gem of a cafe friendly staff, great food lovely surroundings a definite thumbs up from me 👍you couldn't ask for more.I will definitely be paying another visit 😁☕🥪

Awful and very unfriendly. Walked in and got kicked out in less than 2 minutes for talking to a friend. We didn’t sit where she wanted us to quick enough! Absolutely ridiculous. Didn’t even let us purchase a tea or coffee and turned to shouting at us for wanting a conversation! Never going back again absolutely horrendous first visit.

Absolutely lovely meal here the other day. The panini were well made and the special salad was delicious. So nice not to have one that is swimming in cheap dressing. Here the dressing complimented rather than overwhelmed. Thoroughly recommend the bara brith too.

We have visited Blueberries several times. The ladies there are lovely and friendly, helpful and make you feel very welcome. The homemade cakes are yummy, especially their Bara Brith. The whole menu is very good, and they make a mean side salad, one of the best I have ever had anywhere in the world. They cater for Gluten and Dairy Free diets, giving you plenty of choice and the GF lemon meringue pie is heavenly. We will be visiting again very soon.

Stopped in for a quick lunch after a walk on Parrys Mountain. It’s a very typical ‘panini & baked potato’ menu but the food was very tasty and decent sized portions – I had a chicken tikka panini and the flavours were very good. My wife had a salad that was a good size and came with a lovely dressing. Despite being very busy (car rally in the car park), the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much of an issue in terms of food allergies / intolerances. We took some cakes to eat later but unfortunately, mine only lasted as far as the car ! Would we go back – yes Would we recommend – yes.

Visited while in the area having read a TripAdvisor review referencing how well they provided for those requiring gluten free options. We were impressed! Firstly, it is small, so if you want to ensure that you can get a table, book ahead. We didn't but there was only two of us and we got the last table. Secondly, the provision for those requiring gluten free is really impressive. We had two tasty toasties (one gluten free as required) and there were probably half a dozen cake options to follow. We had chocolate fudge cake and blackcurrant cheesecake, both gluten free and delicious. Finally, the staff were not only really efficient but lovely people to boot.

I have visited Blueberries on a regular basis since it opening.i have never had a bad visit. i have tried quite a range of their menu and have never been disappointed. It has always been exceedingly good! Presentation is always tiptop, always brought over with a smile, no matter which member of staff it may be. They all go out of their way to make every customer as welcome and as comfortable as possible, they most certainly look after their regulars very well too, I should know.. I have seen and experienced this firsthand. It's always very clean, with good parking facilities. I am planning on bringing my grandmother in soon who is wheelchair bound, as I noticed the last time I was in that theres a ramp and that the staff kindly went out of their way moving around chairs for an elderly lady in a wheelchair and her gentleman carer to make them both more comfortable. My grandmother would love this sort of reception and attention paid to her comfort whilst dining out because she often feels ignored or like'shes in the way' being wheelchair bound... so I thank you blueberries for your flawless service and wonderful food. Highly recommended to anyway visiting from afar or just locally. You wont be disappointed!

Now having read the last two reviews I feel I should say something because every customer should be heard and no one's experience undermined. As a local I have tea at Blueberries often and I must say that although I have never been turned away, so I dont know about that, I have experienced rudeness by this member of staff. I'm sorry if people dont like to hear this and I Understand that a lot of people report different but I have both been the recipient of impatient treatment and seen this behaviour towards others.

As regular diners at Blueberries my elderly mother and I were shocked at our treatment today by a regular member of staff. We arrived at 11.30am, our usual daily arrival time, in a nearly empty cafe, to be turned away after being told by Tracey that there was insufficient space to seat us. One table, we were informed by way of explanation, was reserved. To the dismay of another diner, we were advised to dine elsewhere. It was raining heavily outside but luckily a friend had transported us to the cafe so we were able to travel to another establishment. This is not always the case, as I don't drive. As very regular customers we spend £120 a week at Blueberries and expected better treatment, not a rude rejection of our custom. Bear in mind my mother is 93 years old and wheelchairbound. This is not the first time we have been treated in this manner by this particular staff member, being branded as difficult customers for reasons I can only discern as being on account of my mother's disability, since we arrive at about the same time every day and usually order the same food. With respect to the reserved table, upon driving by Blueberries 30 minutes and one hour later, there was nobody seated at this table. I should add that the food here is very good and other staff members lovely.

Luckily, we arrived just before a group of about 8 people, so it's obviously very popular. Not only was I impressed by the great service, we stopped overlooking Bull Bay to enjoy our brunch, and the bacon sandwich was delicious and the coffee great too. Don't pass it by. Thanks ladies.

On the edge of a car park so easily missed. Not sure if you need to pay to park. The café is lovely we had freshly made soup and a warm wholemeal roll and both were excellent. Friendly staff a good atmosphere.

Great cream teas! Need more teapots though. The cafe was full midday Saturday and the friendly service and good cafe food, home cooked, is why. Lovely place.

Our meals were excelent , beautifully presented in a warm very friendly atmosphere.nothing was too much trouble for the staff, the day we visited it was very busy, they were rushed off thier feet, and we still got an excelent service along with everyone else in the cafe.

We called into Blueberries for a hot chocolate after a blustery walk around the Copper Kingdom and ended up staying for lunch. Although we only had bacon and egg subs and a hot chocolate each we both really enjoyed it. The food was excellent quality, a fab price ( £3.50 for a lovely big fresh sub, brimming with bacon and egg) and the place was spotless! I love a hot chocolate was was thrilled to recieve a really lovely, rich and 'hot' drink ( so often in venues hot chocolate is served at room temperature) The staff were friendly and service was quick with a relaxed atmosphere. We will be back..get the bacon on!

Don't be put off by the position of this (in a car park). This is a great little café, serving paninis, jackets and sandwiches, and proper coffee. It is bright, clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. And best of all (unlike so many of the Anglesey Cafes) it is OPEN in October :-)

This place grows on you, it gets better and better. The staff are very nice, hospitable and accommodating. They do not have a vast menu but what they do, they do well and as far as I am concerned every visit has been a pleasure and consistently producing good honest food.Well done, keep up the good work

Going on the strength of other reviews, we booked a table in the dog friendly area of The Crown. Having had and a 2 hour walk beforehand, a well deserved refuelling stop. Quite chilly in that area of the pub. Cheap lunch menu. Specials board more expensive. We had Scampi & fries, small battered cod & chips. Both came with peas. I had much higher expectations and was disappointed in the portion size(5 scampi pieces). Would consider giving it another try sometime, go in the evening and dine in the restaurant area. Pay the more expensive dinner prices, in the hope that the food would not be cooked from frozen and the portion sizes would be satisfying.

Pre dinner drinks on balcony overlooking open golf course and countryside with the Menai Straits in the background are ultra relaxing. The Service is excellent and the choice and quality of food are to a high standard.
