Nice little pub in heart of llangefni

First time coming here with my friends. I was surprised by how spacious it is. The music was good and drinks were not overpriced. Toilets were clean. It turned out to be a good night out.

A place in the heart of Llangefni for the young and old, well behaved people. nice DJ and good music. The karaoke was top notch too.

Quite difficult to review. On one side the place looked fantastic inside with a proper sports bar feel. They had TV screens at each booth with a good selection of drinks. However the service wasn't great; the glasses were not clean; and a few dodgy characters. They also did not offer any food (even though it is showing food online...!) The reply to the review states no food offered online however this is not true. Simply Google and food is advertised everywhere... Something needs updating I think.

The Foundry Vaults is a great place for a drink. They don't serve food anymore but it's still a great little pub to go to. Perfect atmosphere and the style of the place is lovely. The staff are very friendly and the service is great. Would come back here anytime.

I was only in here for a sort while but it had a lively atmosphere and friendly staff. Drinks were a fair price and it has a nice relaxing feel.

Previous positive reviews are not hyperbole. The chicken kebab is virtually impossible to improve on. For the amount of meat, it's also excellent value.

Good beers and TV screens in the booths. Good atmosphere.

I went there for a few afternoon beers with some old mates. The atmosphere there is good with big booths that allows for a good level of privacy. The staff were friendly and I felt quite happy during my couple of hours there

Brilliant staff. Rubbish everything else. There was someone smoking by the back door and smoke was blowing in. The atmosphere was dull. We left.

My wife and I were recommended this venue by a friend. We were the first customers of the day, and the place was empty. The young Male bartender was very courteous and professional, making us feel welcome and right at home. The food itself was nice, but could have been a bit hotter. The decor wad old and tired looking, but kind of homely at the same time. My wife and I agree we'd go there again, but if it were a tossup between The Foundry and a Morrisons breakfast, we'd both go for Morrisons first. 4 out of 5 stars

Not for visitors to anglesey at all... all locals make you feel very out of place didn't even stay for a drink.

Because of the pandemic, Derek at the foundry accommodated our whole order in take away format! The new menu is lovely and everyone was impressed! Thanks again 👍

A very friendly please and a good pint as well

It was great to find somewhere open serving food, we did our research this was one that served good food. We had good service and interesting surroundings.

We stayed in the local area on business, so we decided to try out the local hostileries, this was our 2nd of a Wonderful Sunny Day in Llangefni. Place was clean and tidy, and nice decor. Lots of locals to chat too. Pleasent

This pub had delicious food! I would recommend the hotdog. It’s massive and full of flavour. It’s a great atmosphere while you eat and it’s a good place to stay for a few drinks after. They have karaoke on a Sunday and it’s a joy to watch. I have been for drinks many times here and I can safely say I’ve not had a bad experience

Booked a table for 12 of us for lunch, and placed our order before hand. The food was bought out bang on time for when we’d booked the table - ideal when you need to go back to the office for the afternoon! Reasonably priced bar meals. Plenty of choice and portion sizes were generous.

Little gem of a place Very friendly staff and the food is tasty good value for money and the child portions are massive. Will be back again this holiday.

Walked in at 10 am on a Friday morning for breakfast with high expectations and weren’t disappointed, good variety so we went for the Foundry breakfast, superb, reasonable and highly recommended, friendly staff, will definitely return.

Tripadvisor came up trumps again. Looking for a place for a good breakfast and found one. My fiancée and I had the traditional breakfasts and they were amazing. Thick cut bacon, meaty sausages, runny egg yolk, hash brown, beautifully spiced black pudding, beans and tomato. All cooked with real attention to detail and plenty of love. Couldn't fault it. Definitely get down here if you need a filling breakfast.

Was heading on a 3 night bender to Hamburg with my friends and decided to have breakfast and a few pints here before going. The best breakfast and pint around, with great staff and owners. Would 100% recommend before going away!!

Fantastic afternoon in the Foundry Vaults

Excellent service and plenty of sitting either table or sofa for lounging. Meals are also available at the public bar as well as the restaurant. Good range of beverages from a good cup of tea to beers and wines. Pleasant atmosphere and acceptable for family's.

Excellent pub with lots of space and terrific food. Be aware that it is 'cash only' so draw some money out at one of the holes in the wall (HSBC/Santander/Lloyds) all within 50 yards.

Stopped for lunch here with my brother, I had the Philly steak, and he had the all day breakfast. Lovely portion size, very good food and a pleasant atmosphere. The decor is really modern and airy, and the lady by the bar was very pleasant. It did seem to be really popular and busy at lunch time, so I would recommend pre booking a table.

A big shout out for this lovely pub ... 14 of us from Shrewsbury are visiting for the weekend and happened to stumble across it yesterday , the atmosphere was lovely , it was bright and clean and the bar staff were so welcoming .. a big shout out to Wendy , she gave us advice on gins and vodkas and she made our party feel very welcome , nothing was too much trouble .... we will definitely be back guys ... thanks again

I felt a little uneasy in here. One drink and we left. Full of young lads full of lager. Sorry an unpleasant ten minutes.

Found myself driving through llangefni with a very hungry family in the car (my own fault I had not realized the time). Stopped in this very well presented establishment. Immediately upon entering was made to feel welcome by the friendly staff, I asked to order food and was informed the kitchen had just closed for the lunchtime sitting. Sympathizing with me situation they reopened the kitchen to cater for my family of 6. Would highly recommend this friendly and welcoming venue to anyone

We were staying in an exceptionally nice hotel in Llangefni and thought for a change we would try the highly rated foundry vaults pub for a meal. We had previously seen a sign saying that the kitchen was temporarily closed so phoned to see if it was open this evening when we had planned to visit. We were told it was not open until the following day, not a problem as we could eat back at the hotel where the food was excellent. We did however decide to call in for a drink to see if it was worth visiting the following day.

They offer great food, could add at least one vegan meal but what’s on offer is definitely the best around Llangefni. Also, pint is expensive but that is the current market and I could never complain on taste, Sunday nights with the karaoke should never change. It brings the best of people.

What a lovely pub but very expensive on drinks and food if you've got plenty of money you'll be ok in this pub,the lay out is lovely it's just a shame it costs you nearly £8.00 for a pint of fosters n a pint of coke!!!!

Called in for breakfast on our way to checking in to a hotel nearby where we were attending a wedding. The surroundings were nice and the staff were very efficient. My husband had the large traditional welsh breakfast and I had the eggs benedict. The traditional breakfast was huge but presented lovely and my husband said it was delicious although he could not even manage all the toast that he had...The eggs benedict were light fluffy and the ham was gorgeous - it was one of the nicest eggs benedicts that I had had and believe me I have had a lot of them!!!! The coffee and late was great and the price was very resonable...can't wait to try more delicious food when I am next in Anglesey....

Tuvimos un desayuno aquí con un perro y nuestro hijo en la zona trasera. Aunque era predominantemente una zona para fumadores no fumadores era muy trillada por y comimos un buen precio, sabroso, abundante desayuno sin un exceso de humo. De hecho la gente que vino a la zona eran muy considerados. Había un tazón de agua para el perro. En general fue una experiencia agradable.

Came here last year while visiting friends for a drink but decided it was worth another try but for food. All is I can say if you order pizza or anything else you won't be disappointed as for somewhere that doesn't shout about there food it's excellent. We had a 12" pizza between two us at a cost of £8.95 and you can't go wrong plenty of meat on the topping and really flavour some

Popped in for a pint whilst working in Llangefni. The Pint of Thrones from the Robinsons Brewery was very good. The pub itself was very quiet but was well decorated. I hear that it gets busy on a week-end.

Looking for somewhere nice to eat near where we were staying. Found this place and are glad we did! Beautiful food and so cheap!! Good service too. We were pleasantly surprised how tasty the meals were.

We ate at the foundry last saturday afternoon as we had heard good things about the food,thought we'd give it a try. We both had the homemade burger,chips&coleslaw for me. It turly was one of the nicest burger id had in a long time.The food,surroundings,and staff all great. It was so lovely,i took my friend there for lunch yesterday too!!!!!.

Called in for lunch. Staff very pleasant and friendly. A bit of a wait for the food, but well worth waiting for! Obviously freshly cooked, and plenty of it. Also, good choice and reasonably priced. Will definitely be returning next time in Llangefni.

Dont want to go on and on as it was just a cooked breakfast.However, very very good indeed!! Lovely butchers sausages and bacon,hot beans,hash,tom,black pud,mushrooms,golen yolk'd egg and two toast for £4.50.All served on a piping hot plate!! 10/10!!Just like to add that the prices for other lunch/dinner food looked excellent!!!

Last night we visited for a family dinner. The service and food were both outstanding, we were all very impressed. The steak and ale pie was the best I'd ever eaten. They did have a large party in, so our food was a little slower coming out but we were particularly impressed with the level of communication from the friendly staff.We will definitely be back to eat again.

Since their refurb in 2014 this place has become popular with locals and office workers.Limited menu, but freshly cooked and tasty too.Presentation is nice and service is good. If it's busy though, you will have to wait a while for your food - but you can book ahead for large groups.
