Pleasant busy cafe. Nice food but slightly more expensive than other venues of a similar nature.

Very good place something to suit everybody

We travel from Deganwy...we love Fron Goch...the way the premises are organised ..the quality of all the things sold and the lovely staff stand out from so many places. Rod was Welsh chef of the year and enjoys the good coffee and also as we stay away from.gluten, particularly with my coeliac disease, the manager and staff are very careful indeed and understanding re gluten contamination although we would not expect anywhere to guarantee this in kitchens that serve the public...we know they do all they can which gives us the confidence to come here. The kindness, attention, respectfulness of all the staff without exception is first class and they are so warm and friendly. This is a very special place to visit in beautiful surroundings...a gem.

I had an afternoon tea, as I am expecting a good one, I paid £22.50 and was surprised of what was only served compared to what was advertised from the website photos. I find it very expensive for less quality and quantity of food. I am very disappointed.

Great place to visit, good quality plants and customer svc. Garden furniture &barbecues. Solar lights clothes and shoes. Also a cafe to eat or have coffee and cake.

Our first time visiting Fron Goch, we booked in for afternoon tea and everything was wonderful, from the restaurant front of house to the lady who took our bill. Delicious vegan and traditional food with fabulous service. We will be returning. Diolch yn fawr.

Nice place but a little out of the way. Plenty of parking including charging points for those with electric vehicles. We went to see the Megasheds on display and it said there was a rep available on site to talk to between hours of 10 and 2 on a Saturday... no rep found today sadly so we're unable to ask questions about the ones we liked.

Cafe is nice and good food, but slightly expensive for what it is in my opinion. Great garden centre otherwise though - everything nicely presented and easy to find.

Great coffee but they didn’t have any old school fairies for my tree 😂 lots of modern decs and choice otherwise, though. I do wish they would NOT have multiple tv screens blaring out different adverts. It was a horrible wall of sound - sadly blocking out the nice Christmas tunes

This is a lovely garden centre that also has a wide range of other items. Excellent restaurant with a nice range of choices. It's very popular though so it can get very busy at lunchtime so you may have to queue for a table!

We booked in advance for the festive afternoon tea. Our reserved table was in a cosy part of the restaurant close to the log stove. We each had two turkey and cranberry finger sandwiches and two smoked salmon and cream cheese pate finger sandwiches, a slice of homemade quiche, a warm homemade sausage roll, a scone with Wilkins of Tiptree strawberry jam and clotted cream, a mini chocolate mousse in a dark chocolate cup, a homemade shortbread biscuit and a slice each of homemade mincemeat crumble and Christmas cake. There was a choice of tea and coffee. All of the food was delicious and nicely presented on a three tier cake stand. The service was friendly and efficient.

I always enjoy coming here especially at Xmas , I have to say my daughter and I were disappointed today the Xmas display did match previous years and there was not so much to see . . It was advertised as family night so we were expecting something different. We enjoyed our meal then left .

So disappointed - Fron Goch used to be our favourite place to go for lunch. Today we had to queue for half an hour before being allowed to sit down. There was only one member of staff taking people to tables, walking very very slowly and at one point stopping for 5 minutes to chat to other staff. In the queue there were lots of elderly people and people carrying babies that were all made to stand for half an hour. When we were finally allowed into the restaurant, there were empty tables everywhere. Why would you make people stand in a queue for so long when the place is half empty? We were then told that the advertised Christmas dinner was not being served due to a power cut - the people in the queue should have been told this. The food was overpriced and small portions. Nothing like it used to be before the change of restaurant system. On leaving the restaurant almost two hours after arriving (due to queue and long wait for food), there was still a huge queue, and still empty tables everywhere. It seems that Fron Goch no longer cares about its customers, and is only interested in profit.

Excellent customer service as always

This is a gem of a place. The menu is varied and enticing. The food is home cooked and delicious. I had the steak and ale pie, which was divine whilst my friend said her quiche was the best she'd had in years. Spotless, friendly, helpful and very well organised. I would highly recommend it as the cost was very reasonable. In addition to the excellent restaurant, the garden centre is definitely worth a visit. If you don't like plants, the clothes, homewards, toys, gifts and Christmas sections are a must.

I like Fron Goch, a lot. The food is always nice, the staff are always pleasant and the whole family goes there regularly. We went today for breakfast though and a couple of things really bothered me. One was a dirty plate given with our cups of tea. It looked like cake was left smeared all over it. OK, fine, these things happen. What I was more annoyed and angry by however was asking for a single can of Coke (I didn't even want a glass or ice) and being charged £3.25 for it. I couldn't quite believe it. I know prices on everything have risen of late but there's absolutely no justification in charging £3.25 for a 60p (wholesale) tin of Coke. Even in more slightly expensive shops, I've seen them, at most, cost £1.50 but £3.25 is outrageous. I'd love some feedback because I'd genuinely like to know why they're so expensive (Sprite/Lemons per can is the same).

Fantastic garden centre with shopping and café/restaurant. Something for everyone and lovely produce

Went for the first time to this garden centre to have a look around and was blown away mainly by the brilliant selection of Xmas decorations they had. The centre itself looked very well managed and the queue for the Sunday lunch was massive so decided not to join. Must be very good tho if ppl are prepared to que like that. Will go in the week and find out.

Wonderful coffee and cake and great for a look around. Sumptuous selection of food to choose from. Had the carrot cake, bought some indoor plants and a top for my wife

Brilliant place to shop and get some lunch

The food at Fron Goch is locally sourced and the quality of these ingredients is evident. The service is great and there are options to order and pay on your phone. You have to order chips - they are exceptional.

My daughter brought me here for lunch and a wander around. It was a beautiful sunny day and we sat in the conservatory. The lunch was delicious and plentiful. I had prawns in a baguette and fries while she had the fish goujon sandwich. Both meals were large portions and very well cooked and presented. The staff were lovely and I was pleased to see the restaurant is dog friendly. After we had eaten we looked around the shop which was very well stocked with high quality items. They were just starting to bring out the Christmas stock which looked very attractive and 'buyable'. The prices for everything were reasonable, especially the cakes we got to take home for later. Thoroughly recommend.

Had to stand and wait for a table for at least 10 minutes, there was plenty of staff around and empty tables. Didn’t think much of my jacket potato. Over priced . £3.25 for a can of Fanta.

We have visited this garden centre cafe a few times for lunch and coffee and cake 🍰 . We decided to come here for Sunday lunch 🥙 I was bitterly disappointed I had the roast beef dinner The meat was ok and plenty of it but the vegetables were cold and burnt the plates were cold so the gravy was only warm I think the knives need sharpening as my beef was difficult to cut it’s a shame really because I really like the place

Well let's put it this way, there are NO signs out on the main road advertising it and each of the 4 times we went the restaurant was full, mostly of locals, speaks for itself really.

Had coffee today 24th,had to stand waiting for too long with an elderly lady, coffee was expensive, when it finally arrived it was luke warm. Very pleasant surroundings. But not a good experience.

Excellent service, staff was very polite in the restaurant and food was perfect. Staff was helpful when buying indoor plant. Thank you all for a happy afternoon on a rainy Sunday. 😊☔

Large and well stocked centre, offering everything you could require for home or garden. Tucked off the main road so easily missed, first time visiting here.

Very nice selection of nearly everything. I even saw things I didn't even know I needed. Then I had a scone with clotted cream and jam. It was the biggest scone I've seen in a long time ( and very nice it was too) all in all a very pleasant visit.

Had a wonderful afternoon tea here. Mine was gluten free and amazing - especially the sausage rolls! Everything fresh and tasty. Son was very impressed with his first ever afternoon tea too. Really relaxing cafe and staff extremely friendly.

Been here many times,food lovely and staff very pleasant, did notice all female staff with longer hair all tied back, but one male member of staff with longer hair was not tied back, this did not comply with hygiene standards

Nice garden centre with a lovely restaurant. The dining area is very modern and clean. The staff are absolutely lovely, very welcoming and friendly. The food is absolutely delicious, you get the quality you pay for. Only had lunch today but on previous visit have had their cakes, which are so tasty. They have indoor seating and stunning outdoor seating with nice greenery around you. Great gluten free options (even some of their cakes too). Would highly recommend this place.

Excellent Breakfast Great place

Been many young ears since I came here to eat. The resturant has been extended and was busy when we landed there, but there was adequate seating. Order and pay by QRC from your table and the food was delivered promptly. Nice snack (eggs, hm and chips) - excellent pot of tea ! Well recommended.

A very large garden centre offers a wide variety of plants and accessories. It has a spacious car park and a restaurant that serves a diverse menu of hot and cold food and beverages. The staff is exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable.

Had a lovely garden ornaments with dogs from here. Very reasonable price too. Definitely worth a visit you won't be disappointed!

O M G What a beautiful 🤩 place this is. I never knew it existed.Were visiting my sister in law at her caravan when she surgested we have our lunch out.Everything about our visit was amazing from the greeting by the lady who showed us to our table and all the wait staff.The food we had was delicious i couldn’t manage a pudding but I bought a slice of lemon 🍋 meringue pie 🥧 home 🏠 which I’m now enjoying with a cup of tea.It’s delicious and we will visit again when in the area.Also the shop and garden 🪴 centre is lovely.

This is a one stop shop for all of your gardening needs and more. The plant selection is vast and staff knowledge extensive.

I have delivered here twice, a year or so apart. Lots of nice plants, friendly staff, a cafe and toilets, plenty of parking.

First class freshly cooked breakfast. We were on our way home to Cornwall and certainly set us up for the day

Plants in excellent condition with knowledgable staff on hand to offer advice, very well stocked garden centre and shop with everything from wellies to Wisteria. The restaurant is well worth a visit, excellent food and lovely setting with deserts to die for :)

Excellent as always,the restaurant is brilliant and has lots of vegetarian and gluten free options on the menu. Garden centre itself has everything you'd need from a garden centre and it's dog friendly.

Just a quick visit to the cafe. We had a short queue then we were taken to a seat of our choice. What I liked was the fact that you can order from your table and the food and service was great. Will definitely be going back.

Trip for dads 85th birthday, he wanted plants and was very impressed by the choice available and how well looked after they all were. Treated him to Afternoon Tea which was gorgeous, all homemade, beautiful, will def be returning.

Fantastic garden center, very nice restaurant / cafe

As a wheelchair user, my visit was fantastic. The isles are wide, so no area is out of bounds. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. Highly recommend as a place to visit and if you do go then pop to the cafe as the food and coffee are fabulous

Breakfast was amazing… Every ingredient is thoughtfully sourced, often from local suppliers, resulting in a breakfast that's not only delicious but also supports the community. Staff was really nice and polite highly recommend that you visit here. A*

All the staff at this lovely garden centre were very friendly - the young man who greeted us on the way in, Alan who helped us with the garden furniture, and the staff in the cafe who found us a quiet space and brought water for my dog. The cakes and coffee were delicious too. We will definitely revisit.

What a great place and dog friendly too. Ate in the cafe, only complaint no scrambled egg.
