Nice Beer, friendly staff. Dog Friendly. Clean and cozy. Open fire, candles and a happy atmosphere. The regulars we encountered were very welcoming and a good night was had by all, sadly I doubt any of the Karaoke entries will win Britains got talent, but it was a hoot anyway!

Wow! It's such a friendly pub with an awesome atmosphere. The landlord welcomed us upon arrival. They have a fab outdoor lit under cover seating area and also offer outside seating too. We also had a sea view. Looks tiny from the outside but, in reality, is enormous. This pub is a 'must visit' 5*

The Stag Inn's official claim to fame is being the northernmost pub in Wales, but unofficially they could possibly claim being the friendliest. The restaurant at my hotel across the bridge being closed, I decided to amble over to the Stag to see about a late dinner since it was a short walk and I didn't feel like driving in the rain. Despite feeling weird about being an American ordering a pizza for dinner in Wales, I gave the pepperoni pie a chance and didn't regret it. They also have an interesting but limited selection of regional beers and a back room with darts and a billiards table that takes credit cards. Over the course of the evening I ended up striking up conversations with three different groups--one English, one Scottish, and one Welsh for the whole Great Britain experience! Other than one incident late in the evening when a heavily drunk local made some ugly comments about my accent (quickly and gracefully handled by the bartender), it was a completely lovely night.

Just spent a weekend in Camaes and called into the pub for a quick drink on the Saturday evening. There was a party of 8 of us plus couple dogs so the landlord kindly let us use the side room as it was a busy time! Ended up staying for quite a while and returned the following afternoon! Would definitely recommend this place and the staff/people👍🏼

This is right at the end of the High Street, a very short walk from the harbour and the beach. It also has the accolade of being the most northerly pub in Wales. There are some tables out front where you can watch the world go by or as an alternative there is a small terrace accessible from inside the pub. There is a decent selection of cask ales as well as lagers. The new food menu was being launched so this shoal be available now. Very friendly staff and dogs allowed inside.

We didn’t eat here but we had the most positive experience. Staff are efficient, professional and friendly. Unassuming local pub. Great selection of beer, gins, and wine. We made good use of the pool table. Didn’t eat here so can’t comment on food. Nice seating outside with a view of the sea - good for a low-key date night, just bring cards! Would highly recommend the Thursday pub quiz!! The quiz was great fun and the host was funny. Winnings are good; we won 6 bottles of Birra Moretti and £20 💸 They donate the rest of the entry money to charity! Good community vibes.

Couldn't rate any of these as the "opening times" are not up to date We walked 6km to visit this pub, the doors were closed, we called 5 times and waited around half an hour. When we left this feedback a comment was left by the owner to discredit what I was saying, making out we were lying, we weren't there and they were open the whole time. This simply is not true. A good show of character if the owner wants to lie to customers and make out they are better than they are. Simply update your information or be open when you say you are going to be open. Other replies to other reviews indicate the same. Snappy responses trying to discredit the honest feedback. Good luck with your business but be better

We were in Cemaes Bay for a couple of weeks in December - my husband and I travelled through from Manchester, sister in law caught the ferry to Holyhead from Dublin and on from there and my brother travelled through from the South - good meetup spot for all of us over Christmas! Landlord Gwyn was SO lovely and friendly to us all and we all thoroughly enjoyed going here! All bar staff were really friendly and lovely. The right amount of heat, delicious lean beef that was cooked to perfection & absolutely melted in the mouth! The rice was cooked perfectly & generous portions. We enjoyed it so much we booked back in for the Friday burger night. Soooooo glad we did! Absolutely divine homemade burgers with a wide choice of additional toppings & sides. Honestly they were the best onion rings we have ever had! My partner, who doesn’t normally eat pork couldn’t get enough of the loaded tater tots! I was staying in Cameas Bay on the second night of my cycle camping tour of Anglesey. I had gone to the Stag Inn for lunch only to be told they don't serve but I was more than welcome to get food from elsewhere in the village and come back to the Stag to grab a beer and eat my lunch - works for me. I asked about dinner and was advised to book a table which I did. Come dinner time I wasn't massively hungry so I opted for the kids sausage, mash and peas, plus a couple of adult drinks. The food was spot and the sausages were locally made which I always look out for. From the upstairs terrace, you can just see out across Cameas Bay.

Then to talk to the landlord and book a table for their Mexican night… pre-booking is a MUST as they are very popular! No WiFi problems at all once there … it’s an island so you expect 4/5g not to work all time! Your in the middle no nowhere. WiFi issues aren’t the landlords/areas problem! I/we will be back….. fab find and the end of a huge walk. And the beach was a bonus. Rev James is a fab pint. Kelly xxx

Not good for holiday makers that can't pre book tables for food. Fully booked .. not good phone signal/WiFi where we were staying so not able to pre book..left and went somewhere else to eat Edit In response to owner. You may feel it is harsh but it is factual and the signal to leave the review is because I am back home. Sarcasm doesn't change the fact we couldn't pre book and were turned away at the time for food as you were fully booked. Poor signal and no WiFi where we were staying ..we struggled to park and my disabled husband struggled to get into the premises as we couldn't get the wheelchair out of the car due to parking issues and someone blocking us in. We struggled across the road and we're turned away ..the review is to make sure others holidaying in the area know that they are best looking elsewhere if they can't book in advance. Also the website and your board outside say you're serving food which is misleading if you are only serving to pre booked in peak season
