The food was excellent and really good quality. The venue is very nice with a modern and stylish arrangement. Service was also very good with helpful staff and manager who popped over several times to make sure we were enjoying the food.

So we booked Saturday afternoon a table for 5 to celebrate my father in laws 82nd birthday! Having been once before we knew we were in for a treat. We were met with a warm welcome by Ollie who was front of house! We were instantly taken in by his charm and humour. His service and patience was impeccable. Our variety of starters arrived and were amazing. We had focaccia, fish cakes, rarebit, salmon and Halloumi which were all outstanding and cooked to perfection! Plenty of Rose wine which was reasonably priced helped to cleanse the palettes ready for the main course. Plenty of choice made it difficult to decide on what to choose. One of our group was a pescatarian and he said the menu had some good meal options. He chose the Ramen, the rest had chicken schnitzel, venison and brisket. All presented and cooked to perfection. Portion sizes were just right and the wait times between courses were good as you didn’t feel rushed and the wait was not too long that you were sat waiting. Ollie was very attentive and always made sure our glasses were topped up and kept the wine flowing. The icing on the cake was the birthday desert that came out as a nice surprise for my father in law. Such a nice touch which went above and beyond. This restaurant has got everything just right. The value for money is unbelievable. We cannot wait to visit again soon! Thanks…… Linda

We were in Wrexham for the weekend and were lucky enough to book Sunday lunch at Ial. As it was the end of November they had just started their Xmas menu and we thoroughly enjoyed the roast turkey dinner and delicious nut roast on offer. Best of all was the warm welcome and attentive service we received. We were so well looked after and made to feel very special indeed. Great food, great service, great value and great ethos! Definitely a place to return to.

Booked the venue for 60 th Birthday celebration with family and friends . First time at the restaurant . The team were very helpful with all the arrangements including on the day helping to personalise the area . Despite it being a very busy Saturday ( it was bottomless brunch day ) we had a private area to enjoy the gathering . The staff were attentive but not intrusive and our glasses were never empty for long something all the guests commented on .The food was every bit as tasty as previous reviews had indicated it would be . Between us we had all on offer on the menu and Was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone . Many of my guests stated they would return as will I , So glad we found this hidden gem . Thank you to the team at Ial for making my birthday back in my home town special . Would def recommend .

We have eaten here many times as it’s great value for the food and in a nice setting. We appreciate that many of the team are learning and they’re always doing their very best and service is good and food is always brilliant. On this occasion we booked for a large party of 16 and pre booked for either two or three courses on the Christmas offer. The food was excellent, the beetroot cod was particularly good and whilst most of us opted for the turkey which was plentiful and succulent, some also had the fish pie which was hearty and delicious. The team graciously accommodated our adding of some extra desserts that we hadn’t pre booked and we all left with very full bellies and had a nice afternoon. Excellent value all round.

Just got back from a fantastic Christmas lunch. The service was attentive from the moment we walked in but not intrusive. We were slightly limited in time as we were on our lunch from work but nothing was rushed and nothing delayed. The food was hot, tasty and delicious. Couldn't fault it and the price was very reasonable. Can't wait to go again.

Absolutely amazing food in a relaxed atmosphere. The service was attentive but not intrusive. I had the goats cheese tart, pheasant and bara brith all of which was perfectly cooked and extremely tasty. I can see why the bara brith is award winning. Husband had spicy tomato soup, 15 hour braised beef and Bakewell tart none of which he could fault. Such a great place for amazing food and service at reasonable prices. We'll definitely be back.

A truly delicious meal from beginning to end. I had mushroom pithivier to start, pressed lamb belly, and bara brith for dessert. I really didn't want any of it to end. The restaurant offers a lovely cosy atmosphere with great lighting.

Brilliant night with my family and my 86 year old Mum,busy but not too noisy as my Mum is partially deaf. Food was great, service with an energetic smile...certainly recommend the scallops...notice the plural, you only get one 😉 the broth is amazing though so let that one slide. Brisket v good, the star was the chicken Kiev roulade. Definitely worth a visit.

I had been waiting to try Iâl for a while, and I wasn’t disappointed. We arrived and were greeted by two young men who made our dining experience extremely comfortable and pleasant. The drinks arrived quickly and we ordered the Sunday roast beef, Sunday chicken the bass and the cauliflower cheese as a side dish. All of our mains were superb. The beef was tender and perfectly pink, the Yorkshire pudding was crispy and was the perfect aid to mop up the delicious gravy. The bass was full of flavour and perfectly cooked, and the dish was flavoursome but light. We ordered brownies, Bakewell blondies and Eton mess for dessert. All desserts were delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We live locally and will definitely become regulars of this fantastic restaurant! Ardderchog!

Lovely dining space, really friendly staff and great food. Convenient parking, relaxing ambience and not too busy. I've been for Sunday lunch and a few evening meals and both are nice but I think I prefer the atmosphere in the evening.

We came for afternoon tea. Unfortunately due to an error they had missed this on the booking but couldn’t have been more accommodating and ensured we could still enjoy an afternoon tea at a moments notice. The food was delicious, staff were excellent and the decor of the restaurant was lovely. Price was excellent. We would definitely return.

Popped in last night for some food with my family, I had a small issue with mine which was dealt with quickly and very professionally. The staff are always fantastic and the manager was spot on but I didn't get the chance to relay this to him last night so thankyou. We will be back soon for more great food and a pint of wrexham.

Booked a table for Boxing day 2024. Turned up on time and found people outside as the place was all locked up. No explanation even though we saw the bar staff enter the booking details in the diary a few days earlier. Thank you to the Cross Foxes who found us a table at short notice
