Just visited this family run coffee shop. Very friendly hosts, spotless cafe and lovely freshly cooked breakfast. When in the area you must give it a try. Will definitely be back.

What a brilliant little family restaurant right in the front very friendly real people here would definitely recommend this place to anybody coming to Pendine

We decided to treat ourselves on our way home from holiday. Just wish we'd popped in sooner. The bacon roll was probably the best I've ever had (and trust me I've had a few), thick cut bacon, cooked to perfection and a lovely fresh roll ~ doesn't get any better than that. My son and husband had the large breakfast, and even my teenager was beaten by the breakfast. Good value for money and the service was top notch. Lovely seafront location, will definitely visit when we're back in the area

Lovely cafe with friendly, smiling staff. We went in to get a coffee but came out with a bacon bap and a sausage bap on the first day. The latte and the baps were so nice, we went back for a second time too. Reasonably priced and good ingredients used, fresh and well filled baps. The place itself has a great vibe but we did take away because we wanted to sit up the cliffs to eat it. Would highly recommend

Lots of photos inside about the racing, nice history. We had a fish platter which was lovely. Cake was really trashy good and only £2.50 a slice!

We've been calling at this family run coffee shop since it opened in 2012! We visit here every year to have their breakfasts every morning of the week that we stay nearby to Pendine. Always fantastic food and very friendly owners. Can't wait to see you again next year! xxx

The best breakfast ever. Amazingly fresh and good quality food. The staff are always friendly and helpful and will go out of their way for you. We often have food here on our stays at Pendine and it’s always consistent. We have also had amazing lunch meals with freshly made baguettes and all served with a stunning view of the beach.

WOW! had breakfast with the hubby today. Andrew had the small breakfast (definitely not small). I chose bacon, tomatoes and toast from the build your own menu. All amazing quality and fresh cooked. Coffee and milk shakes perfect. Definitely good service and value.

We found this lovely place on our first visit to Pendine. Driving down the hill and feeling hungry it was the first place we saw. It sits at the bottom of the hill on the left just before a 90 degree left turn. Parking is limited but easily accessed. First impressions were good as the outside tables have a good view of Pendine Sands and have comfortable seating. We arrived at 11am and There were only three or four customers – normally not a good sign. but we started to chat to another elderly couple on the next table. They lived locally and were frequent customers. I went inside to order two large breakfasts with tea and coffee and was served by Trudy who owns the Coffee Shop along with her husband Kelvin. Trudy said it was usually quiet on Mondays at that time as the holiday makers call in for breakfast early before going home and the new arrivals turn up later in the day. Trudy is a lovely and friendly lady who is happy to chat if not busy, she is a local girl born and bred. Kelvin is the quiet master of the kitchen. It was notable that the customers who arrived were locals and were warmly welcomed by name by trudy and then sent on their way with a warm smile and genuine affection. It felt a happy and comfortable place to be. The breakfast was expertly cooked and served totally grease free and well presented on very large plates. We had the large breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed it. I feel confident in predicting that any item ordered would be of the same quality and made with excellent local produce. I had not noticed the interior until paying the bill (much less than I would have expected). The interior is very spacious with well spaced tables and clean bathroom facilities. There is a good sized area with comfy settees and table for a relaxed cuppa. The décor is clean and well thought out with many photos of the Pendine speed racers from land speed record contending cars to motorbikes and even a plane. I was unsure why the interior felt familiar then remembered the old “American Diner” style café’s of the 60’s. I felt I should be dropping a shilling into a jukebox and selecting the latest Lonny Donnagan hit. It felt comfortable, familiar and happy. In short, fantastic food, fantastic value and the best hosts you could hope for.

Came here on our last day visiting South Wales with friends. Breakfast was just gorgeous, those hash browns wow! Everyone loved the chocolate milk and all the memorabilia was so cool. Would really recommend this place, prices were good and staff so lovely.

The best coffee in Pendine Sands and a friendly atmosphere. We returned for lunch and were very pleased with the service and the beautiful food that we ordered. The Ploughman's was fresh and very enjoyable as was the prawn salad and the ham sandwich. We would highly recommend The Coffee Shop, but do have a look at some of the amazing photos hanging around the walls.

What a great place i visited on my motorbike with a mate the food was excellent the location was excellent and the service was also excellent, the owners are bikers as well and the cafe is decorated in interesting memorabilia all in all i would travel from Sheffield to here just for a coffee and a chat with Trudy :)

My wife and I wanted a breakfast before setting off to go home after being at the Parkdean Pendine resort so decided to drop in at The Coffee Shop which is just around the corner.It in obtrusive, friendly and basic, but it does a good value breakfast to to 10:40 each morning.Normal if £4 and you get Bacon, sausage, hash brown, tomatoes, bake beans, fried egg and toast, for £6 you double up on that.Coffees are £2 and tea is £1.50. We had the normal breakfast, one tea and one coffee for £11.50 and it was very good.It’s well worth stopping by.I’m not sure how good their sandwiches and lunch it, but it’s well worth a try.

Cant make a trip to laugharne or pendine without popping into this fantastic little coffee shop ,best coffee !!!! breakfast menu is all cooked fresh and is always served hot.The salads,panini, sandwiches, baguettes and jacket potatoes are delicious and very fresh and are served with generous helpings of crisps and a salad.The best prawn baguette I've ever tried !! The homemade scones with jam &cream are delicious too!!Always a lovely welcome from Trudy and Kelvin who always put in 100% to make sure their customers enjoy their visit to this coffee shop.I can also see that this place has a 5 rating !!!!Well done to you both for making our very frequent visits enjoyable,long may they continue.

Been going back and forth Pendine for some time. The coffee shop is always a must to visit. Their cooked breakfasts are the best. Whether it’s a cooked breakfast, jacket potato, panini or just a scone with cream and jam everything is cooked fresh. It’s a lovely friendly place with great views over the bay. Make sure you make a visit when you’re in the area, you will not be disappointed.

My wife and I visited twice on separate days one for breakfast and once for lunch the food was excellent we had panini and salad with crisps. All the food is cooked fresh and the service excellent. This is the best food place in the area and would highly recommend a visit.

Stopped here after a couple of hours on the beach with two children and grandparents. Hostess was warm and welcoming and very spacious cafe and so ideal for families and pushchairs. Food was simple and excellent. Very generous portions but great quality and very good value. Had a delicious prawn salad with a mountain of prawns, jacket was overflowing and came with a large salad and the ploughmans was delicious. Kids food and coffees also great. Thoroughly recommend!

Absolutely love coming here, Always get a warm welcome and lovely food/goodies. Trudy & Staff are always happy to help especially when the children don’t want this on a panini, dont want garnish on plate, make a mess, need something else etc. The scones are my favourite & I’ve learnt if visiting or staying near by to make sure I get there way before closing so I don’t miss out. The toilet areas clean & not to mention they also have gone out of the way & have sanitary products, deodorant, wipes etc which is great especially to freshen up after time on the beach. Out side area is nice and also free WiFi

We are regular visitors to the Coffee Shop for breakfast on a Saturday morning and take out for lunch time. We cannot praise the food enough, when you say large breakfast it really is a LARGE breakfast :-) the food tastes amazing and the quality is 5*** prices are very reasonable for freshly prepared and cooked food. The Coffee Shop itself is very well laid out with high quality furnishings. You have got us hooked and we look forward to our Saturday morning breakfasts every week!

Always come here for breakfast when we are on holidays. My boys love it they always have the same thing small breakfast no tomatoes, bacon roll no butter. Nothing is too much trouble. Nice friendly staff.

Initially the reason why we used this place was the location and the accessibility for my Mothers wheelchair as the Coffee Shop is quite close to the caravans we were staying in. As we had just arrived we all were ready for a decent breakfast and what a breakfast it was. We all opted for the large which I can say was very generous as it comes with two of everything it looked very presentable, hot and cooked to perfection. As I said in the title it was so good we ate breakfast every day there (apart from Wednesday as it is closed all day) but reduced it down to a small which still was a very good sized breakfast. The pot of tea was good too with enough for two or three cups. During our stay we only ate breakfast there but we would not have hesitated eating other meals there as the food was so good. Service excellent but please be aware you may have a bit of waiting at busy periods but do not let this put you off.

Would eat here every day if I lived a bit closer. Adored their cheese and tomato PANINI WITH ADDED SWEETCORN AND PINEAPPLE. IT WAS HUGE AND CAME WITH AN ENORMOUS TASTY SALAD with a good variety of stuff. Yummy. Friendly staff too.

We stopped here for some food on our way home from Tenby, the parking on the side was a big plus. We had 2 filled baguettes which came with a lovely big salad and crisps. The coffee was lovely and the large was actually a large, unlike some cafes. They also have great WiFi if needed. We will definitely be returning and telling all our friends about this gem of a coffee shop.

Location: situated right on the corner of Pendine beach before you go up the hill. Looking for somewhere to have a spot of lunch or snack after walking the sands at Pendine and came across this lovely looking place on a bend as you come into Pendine. Glanced at the menu and we plumped for a pastime and beans and by golly was it a pasty! Handmade and served with what seemed like a full can of beans and all for £5.50. A hot black coffee to wash it down was just as good too. We would gladly drive the 4 or more miles from where we stayed to eat here. Lovely atmosphere and even better food!

Just got home from a week in Pembrokeshire and we visited The Coffee Shop on 3 occasions. We've been there many times over the years and the standards are as high as ever, so if you're near and want a freshly prepared meal, served by friendly, engaged staff, and in spotless premises, then I recommend that you should pay The Coffee Shop a visit.

Stopped for brekkie. Nice and polite, had a sausage and egg gap and bacon and egg bap. Very filling real thick bacon and plenty of sausage. Just the thing to start the day. Had to sit outside with dog but lovely view of the sea so all's good.

We visited the cafe for some lunch when we were worn out from walking the dog on the beach. Spotless clean inside, we sat outside as it was a rare sunny July day. We only intended having a scone and tea, but spotted som huge corn beef pasties, so had half each followed by the scones. Absolutely delicious, and the scones were huge. Great for dog walkers as there was fresh water down on the decking outside the cafe. Would definitely recommend the scones.

I was more than happy with my cooked breakfast which filled me up for the day, my wife wasn't as hungry so was very happy to see that she could have cheese on toast, Something for everyone. Really loved the Retro feel and all the pictures around us, 10 out of 10

Food was excellent and very reasonably priced. I'd recommend them for both breakfast and lunch (they close at 4pm). We were craving fresh, healthy food and this is exactly what you get here! The service was second to non and they even remembered that my husband doesn't like beans. Run by a local husband and wife team, it really is the best place to eat in Pendine! We often pop in here for a drink (or something to eat). Inside there are lots of old photos of Pendine on the walls which are really interesting. The staff are friendly and the service is good. There are tables and chairs but also there is a small area with comfy settees and low tables for sitting in if you just want a coffee or something. The only thing you have to be careful of is the timing! Closes early which did catch us out a couple of times when we started coming here!

We visited the coffee shop for breakfast on the last day of our short stay at Pendine sands . There were 2 options of full breakfast , basic or big . As my husband wanted 2 slices of toast but didn't want to pay 60p for an extra slice he opted for the bigger breakfast which had 2 of everything for an extra £1 . It was huge it did indeed have two of everything but the slices of bacon were more like bacon chops than rashers . Brilliant value and beautifully cooked and served in interesting surroundings . It is a converted garage which has very impressive displays of memorabilia . Just a note , breakfast is only served till 10.30 and we only just made it having checked out of our caravan at 10.00
