The best restaurants serving British food in Wales

Had food here a few times it’s always been lovely fresh meat and piping hot, lovely choice of salad, highly recommend the Bedihran special kebab would easily feed 3 people 4 if not big eaters.

Great service, friendly staffs and delicious food. What more could you ask for! We went on a sat morning. Lovely cute vintage decor and great selection of food on the menu. It won’t be long before we come back ：）they also do pudding club and wedding orders.

I've been dragging my friend on a burger tour of Cardiff for a few months now. We've gone to some of the most recommended spots in town. I can honestly say, without exaggeration or hyperbole, that this was not only the best burger I've ever eaten, but one of the best meals I've had in my life - and that includes my grandmother's cooking. I knew the reviews were good. I knew that the restaurant owners owned the butcher's and the farm too, so I was prepared to enjoy myself. I was genuinely unprepared for just how good the food tasted. I could use phrases like "melt-in-the-mouth", "bursting with flavour", or "perfectly balanced", but I wouldn't be doing it justice. You have to experience it for yourself. The only burger I've had that came close was a lamb burger served on the farm where the animal had been slaughtered that morning. The freshness and quality of the ingredients here, from the homemade buns to the inspired toppings to the tender, juicy meat itself, are immediately apparent. I was both completely satisfied and could not get enough. I'm going to be dragging my friends and family here every chance I get - this place must stay open, it is a genuine Cardiff institution and Welsh national treasure. Again, I'm not exaggerating. P.S. We stopped off here after a walk around the woodland. Lovely clean and friendly cafe. We were invited to take our dogs into the cafe. Nice amount of space between tables and chairs for our 2 hounds to lay down. We ordered a pot of welsh tea, coffee and two scones with jam, butter and clotted cream. Scones were delicious, proper home made and beautifully fresh. Staff were lovely. Would recommend a visit. Plenty of parking space.

What a great shop! So much variety of truffle flavours, small and large bars in milk, white and various darks! Also delicious hot drinks with homemade hot chocolate - what’s not to like? Homemade salted caramel jars are also a personal favourite! 100% recommend.

Llevé a mi madre en compras de Aberdare el viernes y decidimos buscar un sitio para un almuerzo tardío. Esta cafetería ha abierto en Aberdare desde nuestra última visita y decidimos intentarlo. Aunque está indicado en el menú que los últimos pedidos deben ser recibidas en 3,30 pm ya que cerca a las 4 pm (llegamos a 3,35 h), estaban más que dispuestos a llevar nuestro pedido de comida. Ambos tuvimos chaqueta patatas con frijoles y una taza de té cada una. Las patatas estaban perfectamente preparado y el té, que era muy refrescante. No probé las tartas yo solo, pero tomé una casa para mi otherhalf para probar y dijo que la tarta de limón es realmente encantador. Si estás buscando un lugar para cenar en Aberdare, sin duda le recomendaría que da este precioso poco cafe probarlo. Buen servicio, buena comida, ¿qué más se puede pedir.

Muy buen he estado unas cuantas veces más reciente en mayo y siempre para el desayuno, el personal es encantador y la comida fresca sus siempre limpio y a un precio muy razonable. Sin duda mi lugar favorito para el desayuno.

Llevé a toda la familia de 8 en total fabuloso. asador precioso. comida local fresca no podían hacer lo suficiente por lo que recomiendo a cualquiera

Absolutely wonderful tea and cakes. Great hosts, Dawn and Pete who are dedicated to their business and their customers. such a wonderful place of history and therefore nostalgia for me as I lived in Login and was born there.
