Best Turkish food in Cardiff, service was excellent 👌🏽

What a find! Not familiar with the area we found this on TripAdvisor. A small traditional pub, with small local bar and restaurant and a welcoming landlord. The menu is small but that didn't put us off, having a good choice of traditional meals such as lasagne, fish, and burgers, and we all found something we liked. All the meals are cooked fresh and they were happy to alter the pizza toppings for my son. The chicken in BBQ sauce was delicious and came with home cooked chips and onion rings. Service was excellent, and the landlord and waiting staff very friendly and quick serving. Will definitely visit again if in the area

Excellent cafe , great food we had full Welsh breakfasts and breakfast burrito. The coffees ( flat whites ) and a mocha were so good we all had two. The service is really good as the staff actually communicate efficiently and kindly . 10/10 from us .

Have eaten here a fee times and the food is always freshly cooked, plentiful, and reasonably priced. Highly recommended

Visited this cafe in July due to trip advisor ratings. We were not disappointed. I opted for the full breakfast which was freshly cooked and very tasty. The young waitress’s were very polite and the whole dining experience was great

We love it here! We often go in for Saturday lunch, but the breakfasts are superb too. As for cake… absolutely awesome! Added bonus it’s dog friendly!

The wife and I attended Y Parlwr to celebrate her birthday. It has to rank as one of the best fine dining experiences we have ever had. From the momemt we arrived until the moment we left we have nothing but praise! A lovely venue with pleasant, professional and friendly staff. We had the Parlwr Complete Experience with wine pairing. Every dish was magnificent and the wine pairing certainly enhanced the experience. A must for any serious foodie!

Lush Sunday roast . 8 of us visited for my son’s birthday. The service is fab , very quick. The staff are lovely so friendly. The food itself is plentiful!! Lots of veg , meat and thick gravy .

We went for a meal with friends who had eaten here several times previously and rated it highly. The menu is quite small and no vegetarian options shown, although when asked there were two options available, veggie curry and cauliflower steak unfortunately neither of which appealed to me personally. I opted for the potato skins starter as a mains instead which was quite tasty but nothing I could wholeheartedly recommend. My meat eating companions chose off the chalkboard menu but were all left feeling slightly underwhelmed, cassoulet, gammon and chicken, none of which they raved about, in fact they were disappointed too as it wasn’t up to previous standards. The concept behind the pub was apparently to recapture the original Victorian feel but it just looked as if it badly needed updating. Staff were very helpful and friendly but without great food I couldn’t rate it any higher.

Owners were very accommodating and friendly, especially with a large group. Curry night was great. Would love to go back again and highly recommend.
