Brother Thai in Cardiff

Normalmente no escribo reseñas, pero anoche fue tan genial que no pude resistirme! Absolutamente increíble comida, todo lo que teníamos era delicioso. Pedimos 2 rotis y 3 platos pequeños e inicialmente pensé que habíamos pedido más para nosotros dos. Sin embargo todo era tan increíble que no podíamos dejar de comer. Los platos de carne eran húmedos y picantes, las salsas eran pegajosas y deliciosas. La ensalada estaba fresca y sabrosa. El servicio era genial, la camarera (jovencita de pelo oscuro) era tan encantadora. Sinceramente, iría cada semana si pudiera. Sin duda reservar ya que siempre está ocupado, pero ocupado por una razón!

Qué visita, dos de nosotros llamábamos a la hora del almuerzo el domingo 17 de noviembre, estaban llenos en ese momento, ya que tenían una gran reserva, pero nos encajaron sentados en la ventana viendo pasar el mundo. Me resistí a las ganas de pedir el roti de ternera como siempre increíble y pedí el especial del domingo que era una sopa de fideos y pollo y fue excepcional, es difícil explicar lo bien que se hizo, digno de cualquier restaurante en el que haya comido. Hermosos trozos grandes de pollo jugosos, llenos de fideos con mucho cuerpo con un montón de piezas de verduras perfectamente cocidas en una salsa de coco y especias que bebería de un vaso, fue así de bueno cubierto con fideos crujientes en la parte superior que terminó lo que fue uno de los mejores platos de comida que he probado en mucho tiempo. Mi esposa tenía el roti de ternera que era tan morisco y perfecto como siempre y los dos teníamos un Aroi de Ron para ir con él que tiene que ser probado para creer lo bueno que es. ¡Una llamada rápida para comer que resultó ser una de las mejores que he tenido en mucho tiempo y como mucho! Personal y comida increíbles, crédito para ellos.

¡Qué gran restaurante! Bien valorado, gran servicio y un ambiente animado. Teníamos curry tailandés y nuestra comida era deliciosa. Sin duda recomendaría.

La comida era muy buena, los precios eran razonables y el servicio era eficiente. El problema era el ruido. Este lugar es muy popular, así que tienen tantas mesas como puedan para servir al máximo número de personas. El tamaño del lugar significa que hay mucha gente en un área pequeña compitiendo entre sí para ser escuchados haciendo la conversación muy difícil. Aunque la comida era buena, no es mi tipo de cena relajante con amigos. Fuimos en una hora pico en un día popular, así que si fuera a ir de nuevo, trataría de encontrar un momento y día en que estén menos ocupados.

Fuimos a este restaurante después de una gran recomendación de un familiar. ¡No decepcionó! Nuestro camarero era educado, eficiente y servicial. Pedimos los wontons - masa crujiente ligera. Delicioso y abundante para 2 para compartir. 2 de nosotros tuvimos el curry tailandés rojo - picante caliente, pollo tierno y arroz jazmín fragante. Otra persona tenía el pollo al curry satay, que parecía delicioso y otro amigo tenía el pollo al curry roti. Nos encantó nuestra comida, el ambiente del restaurante, gran servicio también. Comida de calidad a precios razonables y buenas porciones también. Un defo recomiendo.

Was a great spot to catch with an old friend. Had the fried chicken satay and was delicious. Reasonable prices. Great service. 10/10.

Really tasty, well presented and great service. Tried this with my son who doesn’t normally like Thai food but he loved it. Can highly recommend the rotti. Will definitely be back.

If it could go to Brother Thai every night I would. Simply the best food ever. Brilliant staff, lovely environment and top notch service. Just faultless.

Ate here for the first time last night and it was fantastic. Great food, great service and a great atmosphere. The menu is small and is Roti’s, rice bowls, some side dishes and ice cream desserts. The flavours are incredible and I would recommend without hesitation and we will definitely return very soon.

We had heard good things about this restaurant so visited yesterday for the first time. We arrived early for our booking and the restaurant were very accommodating….both the staff on duty were very helpful especially as we had not visited before so we’re unsure what to order. Following the advice we each ordered a roti…one sticky spicy beef and one Thai basil chicken…both delicious! We had a side dish of Thai fried chicken and a chicken satay rice bowl….next time we would probably only order one side dish as the food portions were a good size….the food was absolutely delicious and the service was very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would definitely visit again.

We called in to Brother Thai on Saturday 02.11.2023 whilst visiting our daughter on the recommendation of one of our party following a previous visit and I have to say that, having been to several other Thai restaurants, this is definitely one of the most authentic I've ever been to and the food and service were outstanding Brother Thai are clever; by only offering a fairly short menu they are able to deliver high quality food time and again and, perhaps more restaurants should adopt this approach. The portion size is also good and creates a high-end street food style approach but in the comfort of a very funky restaurant setting with a really cool vibe thanks to some excellent tunes on the sound system which are also not blasting out The young lady who served us was very welcoming, charming and enthusiastic without being overbearing, checking that we were happy with everything throughout our visit. The whole experience was extremely pleasurable and we look forward to visiting again and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending

Really delicious food and lovely service. We were a bog group so orders came out a little apart from each other but not an unreasonable wait. It was really busy and everyone seemed happy. My only suggestion would be to serve ciders! Will definitely go back again to try more.
