Whilst staying in Nk and Sandra’s Barn ( Ffynnon Fair ) we experienced two meals at The Frosted Bee. Both excellent but on New Years Eve we had an individually created and prepared 5 course meal which was superb

A dining experience not to be missed. Nik and Sandra spare no effort to make you feel welcome, and enjoy the meal you yourself have pre-chosen. The food was sumptuous, accompanied by your own wine and your hosts’ information ok the food, their sources, local history and culture all make for a wonderful evening.

Lovely food utilising local and seasonal produce served with a smile in an intimate environment - well worth a detour.

How do we review this place without just repeating what everyone else has said? It’s hard to put the experience of eating at The Frosted Bee into words, we’ve never had a three-course bespoke meal prepared for us by our own private chef in a private dining room 10 metres from where we’re staying so we have no frame of reference! The food was exquisite and Nik is the consummate host, with stories about the ingredients, the local area and life in general. If you’re staying in the local area or at Nik and Sandra’s holiday let, you MUST eat here at some point during your stay. And as an added bonus if you are staying in their holiday let, you can also arrange to have breakfast with them and benefit from Sandra’s sublime cake baking skills!

We stayed in the barn next to the restaurant and enjoyed two brilliant meals and a breakfast as part of our package. The food was exquisite, beautifully cooked and presented. Nik sources all of his food locally, an experience not to be missed! Wil definately visit again.

Whilst the concept of including wild food in the dishes is great, the important thing is that this restaurant serves amazing tasting food. We went for lunch and had 6 dishes between us. The mussels were in an incredible sauce, and the seaweed cawl was delicious. Very reasonably priced, and great that you can take dogs at lunchtime, our dog was even given some special treats at the end of the meal. We can heartily recommend.

One of the best meals we had in Wales! Almost did not get the chance to eat here as we didn't realise that Narberth is pretty much all closed on a Sunday. So glad we opted for the seafood menu as we were craving a Sunday roast. Great fresh and local fish – we had the lemon sole from Swansea and seabass from Tenby. Highly recommend the warm loaf with laverbread butter!! The staff were so lovely too and part of the reason why we committed to eating there even though it didn't quite fit our plans. My one observation was that the front of the pub had a great atmosphere but further inside seemed less cosy.

Love the Artramont. Good beer with a warm welcome every time. Gareth is a master behind the bar.
