Excellent food and service. Loved the extra touches of foraged leaves and seaweed from the local area, they add lovely subtle flavours to each dish. We will certainly eat here again when we are back in St Davids.

Lunch for two of four small plates. £41. Everything was too oily to the extent that we were left with the taste of oil for some time after the meal. Potted crab butter layer too thick hiding a miniscule portion of gloopy tasteless crab. No idea why this restaurant has garnered good reviews.

What a lucky find! Fully booked online but we walked in on the off chance and were able.to book a table for early evening. The staff were very welcoming. The menu easy to read and choose from, with a good selection of small plates available. We chose 13 dishes between 4.of us - possibly 2.plates too much? but we did manage to finish everything. Delicious fresh fish and vegetable courses, beautifully presented and prepared. It all came quickly too! Our highlights were the sea bass and the mussels...although the falafel, calamari, potato and crab dishes were also sublime! The sourdough bread were delicious too! We had the chocolate dessert too - also delicious! We can highly recommend this lovely, wholesome restaurant!

We stumbled across this place whilst waiting to meet our friends and their kids for lunch after their trip to the but farm. We couldn’t resist the sound of some of the small plates on offer so decided to have a “little” snack. Everything we had was delicious, the service was good but relaxed and we couldn’t help feeling a little smug when we met our friends and their broods at a nearby rather average pub afterwards.

Just bought a load of stuff from the shop upstairs which is out of this world! And to top it off went for small plates and was genuinely blown away. Mostly vegetarian food which as a meat eater was so good. John the chef should be seriously proud of the food he puts out and the service from Lilu and Sioned topped it off. Can't wait to come back for the tasting menu in September.

What a nice experience this was! The food was great although there were some minor issues: the fish was quite dry with too much crème fraiche and the falafel was fried a bit too long. But the shellfish was absolutely amazing, as was the kimchi! Both ladies were extremely friendly, service was quick and the atmosphere was really relaxed ☺️

Wow! What a fabulous dining experience, and an ever better concept. From sourcing and picking all of their own local food, to serving delicious plates, this place is magnificent. The tapas style mains were delicious (the baba ghanoush with hazelnuts, and kimchi were notable standouts), but the real show stoppers were desserts. Despite all 3 of us generally preferring sweet to savoury, the deserts were quite literally life changing. The dish of the evening was the panna cotta, which, despite none of us liking traditional panna cotta, was exquisite. It’s worth noting that prices reflect the time and effort it takes to forage local food, so are higher than other establishments in the area. Make sure to book in advance - we will be back!

Special wedding anniversary lunch treat. 3 vegan options. Unfortunately I can not eat raw onions (let them know in advance and they had checked and matked the menu for me which was good, 1 star)and so these were reduced to parts of 2 options. Service was poor despite the resturant being less than half full. 45 mins till food came and it was covered in chives and so had to go back. We asked if we could have the bread we had ordered whilst we wait, but it didn't come till the food came back. So an hour before we got the food. Still had a couple of bits of chives I picked off. We only got 2 of the 3 dishes we ordered. Expensive for 6 peices of asparagus with a blackberry sauce and some fried peices of mushroom and something else, shared between 2. We left hungry. They took off one drink for the mistake with chives. However tried to charge us for 3 plates when only 2 came, but did take that off when advised. Beware if you have allergies or are hungry!

We absolutely loved our drop in here for the 6 course taster menu… we were travelling around Pembrokeshire in our van and decided to treat ourselves for the evening as we are both great foodies. The 6 courses were all delicious, well presented and interesting. The staff were also super friendly and we actually ended up staying to chat for a while afterwards with them, some other customers and the chef himself. We both had a great evening. Our only small bit of constructive feedback is we think the wine selection could be a little better. We had an Argentinian Malbec which we did enjoy (and tried the merlot too) but they certainly weren’t in the same league as the food which for some people may let the experience down slightly. Otherwise it was all fab, we can’t recommend enough and would love to visit again if we’re back in St David’s.

Had a lovely meal at this wonderful restaurant on Saturday night. I was fairly confident that we were going to have a good meal due to reviews and images I'd seen but it was exceptional in every way - way beyond my expectations. The building has lovely old fashioned glass frontage with door in the middle and a rustic chilled vibe inside. Light and airy with very cool music playing nicely in the background. They definitely have the music right - nobody felt the need to raise their voice so all the chatter was private which made for a relaxing evening. The tasting menu was generous and incredibly good value at £58. Each course was of michelin star standard in our opinion and impressively inventive. It's hard to pick stand out courses but the venison and Damson/Blackberry cake were both amazing. Great bottle of South African red too (about £27 I think) - very good value. Last but not least - the staff were charming, friendly and super efficient. From the moment we walked through the door until we left they made us feel at home and couldn't do enough for us. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough, it's comfortably the best restaurant we've been to in Pembrokeshire - we genuinely can't wait to get back there (plotting the 5 hr drive to get there as I write this).

Although I appreciated the vegan menu and the concept, some of the food was not properly prepared, the pudding was solid frozen for instance and the wild ingredients were hardly there. Feedback was given in an extensive email and whilst there but ignored. RESPONSE TO OWNER'S RESPONSE: I have attached a picture of the email I sent and your automated response. You certainly got the the email because I got your automated response. It's sad you can't take any feedback and use this to improve. Yes I have sent negative feedback to other restaurants but also very positive feedback which you seem to have missed. The reservation was on my husband's name. We were going to come as a family but when we called to double check if you have high chairs, you said you don't accept infants. The result was he had to stay behind to care for our toddler. The reason you gave us was that you don't have enough room which later I saw that wasn't true. Some of the food was solid frozen and some other burned, I can assure you that's not properly prepared. RESPONSE TO 2nd RESPONSE: Interesting how you surreptitiously deleted your first response. I don't think I'll be back to your restaurant.

A terrific experience, with dishes ranging from good to superb. Minor niggles kept it from being excellent which I’d have hoped for at the price. Let’s get those out the way: the restaurant was much too hot and I was uncomfortable throughout. I asked to have the radiator turned off and unfortunately that wasn’t possible. The ambient noise was quite loud for me (though I am autistic) possibly because of the hard surfaces; but I wore headphones and that was fine. The savoury food was all slightly too salty for me and the sweet food all slightly too sweet. Finally, I would have liked to see foraged food take a starring role: I was particularly excited about eating a variety of seaweed, but found it limited to garnishes or subtle components. Now, onto the good stuff. None of the dishes were close to being bad: all brought something interesting and exciting. There were also very slight variations from the printed menu I had been given, which added some extra excitement to the experience. The food was presented beautifully on very nice crockery, and the portion sizes were good: I left feeling quite satisfied. My highlights were the lavercake, which was divine paired with some heritage tomatoes; the tofu, which was firm and flavorful; and the home-made kimchi, which was so good I kept a little ramekin, and ate a bit after every course, including the final. The sorrel granita also gets a special shout out. Best of all was the artichoke dish, which was astonishing. Every mouthful I couldn’t believe how delicious all over again. If I was being very picky, I would say the beetroot wasn’t needed as part of that dish, and a little more parsnip would’ve been better for providing the sweet note. Overall, the experience was exciting, the food was good, and I enjoyed the aesthetic and values of the place. I would definitely go again in a different season.

Amazing! Absolutely loved our visit to this little gem. The tasting menu was superb, the staff friendly and knowledgeable and what a lovely touch for the chef to come out and speak each table individually. I think this is my favourite meal ever and I want to move to St David's. I will definitely be back, thank you for a perfect evening.

We had heard that this restaurant was wonderful, so decided to go in for lunch. The luncheon menu was a bit expensive, so we opted for coffee and cake. The staff were friendly and the cakes good, but when my partner went to pay in...

Whilst staying in Nk and Sandra’s Barn ( Ffynnon Fair ) we experienced two meals at The Frosted Bee. Both excellent but on New Years Eve we had an individually created and prepared 5 course meal which was superb

We were looking for a lunch spot having walked to Saundersfoot from Tenby and came across this gem. Super fresh seafood in a well appointed and well located restaurant. Service with a smile added positively to our experience. You’d be well advised to make reservations during busy times it would seem but we were able to walk in during lunch in the off-season. Highly recommended.

My partner had the seafood sharing platter, she said it was absolutely beautiful and everything was cooked to protection (and she’s very fussy) I had the burger and it was beautiful, lots of different flavours and even tried some of the seafood (i can’t stand seafood) and even thought it was quite nice, the service was amazing and they were super friendly, sadly they don’t accept tips on card and I had no cash on me however they definitely deserve some recognition, they done everything to make sure the dinner was perfect for us. It was also a beautiful space in general to eat and we loved the decor. If we come to wales again we are definitely going there each time!

We had pre-booked and reserved our sunday roast lunch well in advance. They took allergies well into consideration. Quick service, friendly staff and the restaurant wasn't crowded when we got there. The food was absolutely delicious. We chose the beef option, which too had to be booked almost a week in advance. The beef was tender yet juicy, crispy yorkshire pudding, well seasoned veggies, and a super flavourful gravy. The portions were quite generous too! 10/10, highly recommended.
