Great little local pub serving quality LOCAL produce. I had 3 pints of local ale which were all on point. For my meal I had Faggots which were simply fantastic, beautiful flavour - not herby or strong at all like some. I was pleasantly surprised as I was complementing them it transpired the butcher was actually in the pub at the same time. This is simply a must if you want to dine local and make a difference to a local economy

Having stopped here for a Sunday lunch. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal. There was cawl with a roll, mushrooms, prawn cocktail for starters. My husband had the cawl. This was a nice portion with lots of fresh vegetables, the roll was warm. Main course was a beef or lamb dinner plus a vegetarian option. The beef and lamb dinners consisted of roast potatoes, roast parsnip, Yorkshire pudding and a stuffing ball. Along with this, there were 3 vegetables, mashed potatoes and cauliflower cheese in separate bowls. All freshly prepared vegetables and not a frozen pea in sight. There was a selection of home cooked desserts. But I was the only one having dessert. I had strawberry cheesecake. It wasn't presented the usual way. It was in a glass dish. Personally I prefer to receive it on a plate, but this dessert was thoroughly tasty with lots of fresh strawberries. It was good value at £14.95 for 2 courses. I will return one day

Very friendly and convenient local pub. The food was good with generous portions. The pub is well used by the locals and was quiet the day we went. Go round the back to enter as the front door isn't open

We booked here for an evening meal, for myself, my wife and two children. We where made to feel very welcomed by all! The staff where helpful and friendly. Also the locals where friendly and told us a few stories about the pub & village. The service was good, friendly polite staff who went the extra mile to help. This place is children friendly and dog friendly. The food was delicious, plates where hot, food looked and tasted amazing! We would like to thank all the staff for a lovely family meal with great customer service, we definitely will be back again Thank you 😊

My family and I visited The drovers Arms, as we where staying near by. I highly recommend taking a visit to the Drovers, it’s a lovely country pub with a modern bar and has a lounge area too and outside garden We had drinks in the bar, then decided to go outside as it was lovely weather! We then enjoyed a variety of home cooked food in their lounge. The food was delicious and huge portions, the curry was full of flavour, the pizza was enormous but absolutely delicious! We received a warm welcome from the bar staff, cook and It was lovely to speak to the owner too Thank you, we will be back again! 😃

We booked for Sunday Lunch. On arrival the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. We decided on Beef roast dinner. The food was beautiful, obviously all homemade. Vegetables included cauliflower cheese, runner beans, glazed carrots, mash, swede, roast potatoes, parsnips. Beef so very tasty as was the gravy which was plentiful. Yorkshire pudding plus stuffing. Will definitely go back. The chocolate brownie was just just as delicious. Highly recommended if you love a Sunday Lunch, one of the best in Pembrokeshire.

During our stay at Grove of Narbeth, the highlight of the visit was the seven course taster experience at the Fernery. After being warmly welcomed by Luke, offered drinks, we were seated in the plush restaurant, and the delights followed. The dishes, the craftsmanship, the ingredients (the chef is obviously a genius), the enthusiasm from all the staff describing each dish, their sommelier Cathryn's expert choices and advice - was about as perfect as any taster experience we've enjoyed. Each course was presented beautifully, the choice of ingredients varied in a way that wasn't at all repetitive. The "Grove Vegetables" following fresh breads was immediately impactful with freshness and wonderful kale sauce with hints of seaweed. For "The Love of the Sea" with lobster on a tomato base again fresh, light and so tasty - as well as beautiful. And on it went with Sea Bass and a Beef dish to die for. Just outstanding presentation and flavours. As we moved towards dessert we were presented with “Farmesan” a cheese a hard Welsh cheese that resembels Parmesan - aged for over 3 years. They aerate the cheese with cocoa butter and serve with a pepper sorbet and black olive. Just wow. And to finish "Hedgerows", a delightful dessert so multi-layered it's hard to describe. The overall flavour seemed to present Christmas and carrot cake on a bed of meringue. What's not to love? In conclusion, probably the finest taster menu we've ever had (and we've had quite a few). Mostly because of the menu, ingredients, execution, presentation and, of course, taste. But also because of the team - from the maitre d, to the sommelier, to the procession of smiling, enthusiastic waiters. Simply superb. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This pub I know well for it's food, service & reputation. We recently visited since the new ownership has taken over, what has happened? It was like walking into a different pub ! Menu changes with none the favourites on there like the famous lamb shanks gone ! We expected some changes the food we had was ok the service was OK it put me off to see 3 waitresses chatting away on several occasions behind bar. The atmosphere has changed too maybe no attentive chat like when previous owners were there. Sometimes we have to look back at all the fabulous customer service that it had and wonder how they did it with great passion.

The fish was cooked to perfection, with a light, golden-brown batter that was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside

We visited Charlie’s Restaurant for the very first time yesterday and it certainly didn’t disappoint. As soon as I walked in I felt instantly ‘at home’ .. the beautifully designed decor was not only a feast for the eyes but felt incredibly cosy too. With it being December it was dressed for the season, with two beautiful Christmas trees adding to the festive vibe. We had Sunday lunch .. my husband and grandson had the beef and I opted for the chicken. The ‘Molly Parkin’ parsnips were absolutely gorgeous and made the perfect accompaniment to our meals .. which were all absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend this delightful little restaurant! Claire Goodchild
