Just popped in whilst travelling through, and what a wonderful joyful find this cute little cafe was. Although the ceilings are low, the decor was well thought out and stylish. Now, onto the food and drink - delightful little handmade baked cakes were delicious and just the right amount of moisture. We have a choice of 3 shared between us because they all looked so good and we didn't want to miss out. Drinks were speedy and tasty, the perfect accompanying refreshments. The lovely lady who served us was warm welcoming and very attentive. When we next pass through we are Definitely Stopping in here ! Well done Cobblers Tea Room! Bob on!

We visited Cobbler's recently and received a very warm and friendly welcome from Helen, the proprietor. The tearoom is beautifully quirky with lots of beams and seats in the inglenook with a chandelier. The loo is definitely worth a visit! Last but by no means least, the food was excellent. We each had a delicious Welsh rarebit and the individual lemon drizzle cake was scrumptious as was the Bara Brith. All homemade too. Dogs are welcomed with treats outside. Would definitely go back without hesitation.

Decided to have lunch here purely from trip advisor reviews. We were staying in the area for the week. My husband and I were not dissapointed. Lovely friendly welcome. The tearoom is quaint, with original features. I loved reading about the buildings history. We both had leek and potatoe soup. Boy, we were not dissapointed. It tasted amazing! Very filling. We had cakes to takeaway, lots of lovely choices. I had the coffee and walnut my husband had lemon drizzle. Very moist and tasty. I, like others , will definitely recommend a toilet trip. When we are back in the area, we will definitely do a return visit. Thank you.

Very reasonable rates and should you feel the need to use the rest room after your tea and home made cakes you can be sure of a Michelin starred toilet. The ambience and the books and the hand towels and the tap coming out of the lion's mouth. Helen, the joint owner is so kind and welcoming we were made to feel like old friends. An absolute gem in Llanidloes. Helen is so lovely. On our first visit we were looking for some eggfree lunch options. As there were limited options on the current menu, Helen very kindly suggested a vegetarian/vegan cafe around the corner. Needed a place to stop between Anglesey and Bristol and this came up on Trip Advisor. Glad to say we weren’t sorry. Opted for a cheese scone with mustard and paprika (zingy but lovely) and we asked for ours to be warmed so it would melt the butter. This place is quiet and the staff are nice but it’s not good value for money. Tea is served in tiny pots and tiny cups, so a 2£ pot of tea amounts to just a few sips. Lovely local server. I had the vegetarian curry, which was (surprisingly) brilliant! Homemade, and tasted fresh and well-balanced spices- unusual for a vegetarian meal. Husband had ham, egg and chips. Chips were crispy, and ham was a generous portion, tasty and thick-cut. 😋 2 slices of ham, and 2 eggs. Great 👍
