Massive portions, freshly cooked, really tasty

Popped in for lunch after attending a free course at Williams Conservation in one of the adjacent units. Small fish and chips was plenty big enough for me and the Irish curry sauce that I got with it was top notch. Delicious!

Yum!!! Delicious chips a d huge portions. Battered sausages were good, pie was good, curry sauce was good!! Visited again recently and their still the best chips!

Remember that saying "Cheap as chips " welcome to skewen fish bar here they serve very nice food plus quick service and good prices. I travel to eat here it's so good

Huge portions and the quality is first class. If you like fish you must try their cod, but make sure you are hungry as it's massive.

The staff are friendly, helpful, professional & accommodating. Best team I've come across.

This used to be the best fish bar in Neath and the surrounding area. It has gone down hill in the last 12 months. Service and availability of menu items is sadly lacking, orders either incorrect or simply ignored when made by phone in advance and very long waits, not to mention the unjustified large price hikes. Time to find somewhere else.

The BEST fish bar around! I will not go anywhere else! Chips are delicious. Large portions great value for money, friendly staff, Fish (cod) is delicious and the Irish curry sauce is to die for🤗

This place was literally the best fish n chip shop ever until the past couple of months. The last few times either the fish wasn’t great or the chips were soggy n undercooked. Very sad as not sure I’ll eat here anymore after over 2 years as a loyal customer

Worst chips EVER tasted. Ordered large chips for my family large portion given but inedible as too dry luke warm when given. None of us could eat them. In my opinion these weren't freshly cooked. Tasted stale had to bin the lot.

Came from Canada asking for a place to have the best fish and chips we've ever had... By far, the best fish and chips we've ever had. Only issue is they only take cash, but really, that just adds to the story of the best fish and chips we've ever had.

Food is always delicious and fresh with excellent portion sizes. Brilliant customer service everytime even when busy. Would recommend to everyone and definitely worth the drive from Tonna.

Without doubt our favourite chippy in south wales we travel from Hirwaun to get the best fish and chips . Fantastic value for money and the best .

Best chip shop around. Always freshly cooked and between 3 of us we don't always finish a large bag of chips. Happy to give us cold pies with our chips (used to us now) chip shop curry sauce to die for. Staff are really friendly and the owner always has a smile for his customers. Once you've tried here you will never go elsewhere.

Used to be great..before they got greedy. Prices are ridiculous now, foods decent just expect to pay nearly 20 quid for 2 x fish and chips. Daylight robbery, won't be going again. In response to the reply below because there's no option to reply Yes your costs have gone up but so have our wages gone down and our costs gone up, I think that's a blatant lie that you'd be operating at a loss...worked in a few chippies, products are dirt cheap, to raise prices for example cod was 4.50 (still pricey even then) now you've raised the price to 6.30.. absolutely defeats the object of buying fish and chips , the budget choice in fast food, now fish and chips is only for the wealthy 😐 You say you'd be operating at a loss, im not sure how ensuring you have less customers will help you make a profit? thanks for the response

Highly recommend, nice clean chips can tell the oil is really clean, I had a lovely jumbo sausage and the curry sauce was amazing! Travelled up from swansea and will deffo be going there from now on! Staff was really welcoming. Nicest chips in a long time!

Absolutely brilliant food from here, the portions are huge especially the size on the cod, also everything is all fresh unlike a lot of chip-shops these days.The Staff are all very friendly and welcoming too which is nice. Would recommend to anyone 100% the best around!

Fish and chips used to be £6....went in yesterday it was £6.80.....80p price hike....used to be my fave chippy.....too expensive now sorry.....back to hickarys in the melin!!! Went in there today.....another price hike......fish and chips now£7.30.......should be awarded the dearest chippy in neath port Talbot!!!
