The best restaurants serving British food in Scotland

This was a lovely cafe, serving lovely breakfast and bakes but what stood out was how lovely the staff were. They greeted each customer with equal interest and a personal touch, kind, friendly, attentive and great food on top of it!

Tucked away on the other side of the pier, this is a fantastic takeaway, the taster box was delicious and so fresh. Loved the scallops which were perfectly cooked. Thank you.

The best steak pie in this area by a country mile. You must try this gastro pub if you like freshly cooked British food. Good berry crumble served with cream or custard.

I cannot thank Stephen enough as he has gone above throughout this whole lockdown in helping me get presents to my parents. The Deli deserves recognition for all their hard work that they have provided .

It's was a little slow, but they did a good job.

The food is fresh and tasty, and beautifully served. Friendly atmosphere with polite service. Great place for morning coffee or a lunch with family or friends

We've been a few times now and always try something different. I've had the Victoria sponge, the cheesecake and the various scones and they are all fabulous! The service is great and the staff are very friendly - the only thing that lets it down is the poor ventilation.

Visited this deli on Tuesday 23 April 2024. First visit. Excellent array of goods. Well priced. Very friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

Came here for Sunday lunch whilst visiting st Cyrus for the weekend after seeing the reviews of the Sunday roast. Waitress was friendly and the food arrived piping hot and the portions were huge! The roast beef was so good just melted in the mouth. The sticky toffee pudding and custard was so good aswell and all reasonably priced. Would recommended and will be back to try more of the menu when in the area.

While on holiday, we are from Lancashire. We found this lovely little cafe. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hot chocolate was delicious and we went back a few times during our stay. We definitely would recommend it. As previous people have mentioned a post office, it is no longer a post office, but now just a cafe with plenty of tables and comfy sofas. A visit to the Priory next to it is well worth a visit. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area. Many thanks to the friendly staff. Yesterday after we left, the Empire biscuits were lovely.

Tomé el helado de chocolate y chile y las cucharadas dobles de limón y frambuesa. Tan delicioso y único. De alguna manera el chocolate y el chile se complementan. Lo volvería a tener.

Lovely scones with jam & cream (and strawberry) to go with our teas. Dog friendly. We didn't stay for a meal on this occasion.

It is a wonderful and unique Bed & Breakpast. Led by its owner, a strong, inspiring and energetic woman. The place is wonderful, surrounded by nature and in an enclave of tranquility. An unforgettable peace is felt inside. The room was beautiful, the entire house is taken care of down to the smallest detail. Its owner is very friendly, knowledgeable about the area and she always has very good suggestions. She is clearly a lover of nature and practices sustainability in establishing it. El lugar es maravilloso, rodeado de naturaleza y en un enclave de tranquilidad. Se siente una paz inolvidable dentro. La habitación era preciosa, toda la casa está cuidada hasta el más mínimo detalle. Su propietaria es muy amable, conocedora de la zona y siempre tiene muy buenas sugerencias. Es claramente una amante de la naturaleza y pone en práctica la sostenibilidad en su establecimiento. Lo recomiendo al máximo y sin lugar a dudas volveré.
