Lovely little cafe. Mam and I had bacon rolls, lattes and got 2 cakes to takeaway. Limited menu but perfect for what we were looking for. Good food, friendly staff, reasonable prices and very clean. Would highly recommend 👌

Well done! Einer der besten Cappuccinos, den wir in drei Wochen Schottland bekommen haben! Viel Erfolg bei der Neueröffnung! 🍀 Mit der Freundlichkeit und dem Kaffee sollte es gut laufen 😀

Visited the Priory to search for any ancestors in the grave yard but too many graves so called in the Postoffice/cafe and asked if they knew if there was a list. Next minute and the postie is searching his computer and found 5 grave stones. Couldn’t be more helpful. We then had coffee and cakes … yummy.

Called in for coffee and a scone. It’s a bit likea post office shop, info centre with a couple of tables added on for drinks and snacks. Wasn’t sure if it 2as self service or not. The answer was, “It depends”. Friendly staff. Limited parking.

I lovely wee shop serving coffee, tea and nice “goodies” with it. Particularly a nice place to visit on a dreich or cold day... When coming in, on the left hand side are some very interesting stones from excavation work at the Priory. I have reason to believe my late father T. D. Thomson from Coldingham may have had something to do with their excavation in the 1970s...

We stopped late afternoon for a coffee and were not hopeful when we saw that it was a machine dispenser however were pleased to be proved wrong. Great beans make great coffee and the scone and shortbread were good too. The Luckenbooth is also the post office and general store and has good historical and tourist information. Situated next to the priory and graveyard, it’s also near the trail to the beach.

This is a good little place next to Coldingham priory. It has a post office and a small second hand bookshop. The cafe is decent too and I would recommend this place for a snack or coffee and cake after visiting the Coldingham priory.

Friendly service and helpful advice, ideal place for a quick cup of coffee or sitting having a chat with locals or people passing through. With no rbs it is somewhere to do business without having to wait for mobile banking. Lovely and warm atmosphere plus link to Internet. This is my local post office

As the title says we called into the luckenbooth on our recent visit. Its quite a unique place comprising a post office, little gift shop and cafe all in something so small. The food is meant to be lovely. The only downside for us is the fact the cafe use the adjoining toilets to store all their chairs/tables in. This meant we were unable to access the baby changing facilities and it would also not be great for people in a wheelchair

Lovely little hidden gem, you wouldn't really know it was a coffee shop until you get up close. Beautiful scones and lovely coffee.

Dropped into Coldingham on a very rainy day with the cunning plan of finding a coffee shop to warm us through just a little. Parked in front of the Luckenbooth and spied the diffuse shapes of people drinking coffee through the steam haze of the windows tempted us to investigate. Well worth doing. Coldingham is a very friendly village with a stunning cove framing an often boiling sea. There is a good deal of history here too. A little display in the Luckenbooth illustrates this rather well. We got chatting with some of the locals over our coffee and found out so much more about the village and its history. As you will glean from the reviews here the Luckenbooth is, at once, post office, museum, snack bar and gift shop. More than this, it is a real asset to the village. A point of contact within and beyond the local community.

Dropped in for coffee on the way to Eyemouth. This is a cafe, a Post Office and contains artefacts and tourist information. There are only about 3 tables so it isn't big but it seems to be popular with locals and visitors. Coffee, in many varieties, is from a vending machine, at £1.50 per cup, while the tea is made fresh by the staff. We had bacon rolls and rolls with sliced sausage and all agreed these were lovely. The menu is on a blackboard and it wasn't very visible on our visit but the helpful staff pointed it out. Toilet facilities are in the public toilet next door and this was very clean and odour free at our visit. It is a bit out of the way but worth a visit if you are in the Eyemouth and St Abb's Head area.

Go here now before everyone else figures out what amazing value this place is! The drive through the Scottish countryside is stunning (a half-hour drive from the railway stop at Galashiels). The owners have created something special that I simultaneously want to keep to myself and share with the world. Oxana's hosting (and baking and wine-pairing) skills mean you are welcomed with friendly service, clear explanations of the wine pairings and amazing, sweet treats. We have been twice - once in September and once in November - and from beginning to end, our glasses were never empty, and we were treated to amazing service. Now, the food is really something to talk about. Bryn is doing something special here. The food is fresh and innovative while remaining down to earth and approachable. A simple parsnip soup sent our table to heaven with its perfect spice. We had pork belly with the crunchiest crackling and lentils with vegetables that were flavoured so beautifully I couldn't tell what was in them. Blue cheese with truffled honey had all of us begging for more. Every bite is a delight, and some of it was items I wouldn't normally order. This food, this place, is truly something special, reflecting our Borders community and some of the best food in Scotland. Go now!

Stopped in for some lunch today. Friendly service with a good and varied choice of menu. Offers half portions of meals if more suitable. Brilliant value. Hot and cold options available. Felt like the teapot was bottomless, think it was 3 cupfuls in total!

Wonderful food and so nicely presented and the young man serving was so polite and professional. Only negative was the disappointing vegetarian options for my sister. Macaroni cheese is more suited to a cafe menu. But a lovely evening none the less.

Got to say, I’ve never had a bad meal or experience in here. The ham hock and lentil soup as amazing, the steak and mushroom pie was outstanding. It was packed with lean steak in a lush, beefy broth type gravy. Great fies, a la dente peas and everything was piping hot and cooked to order. Even the plates were warm, which I always appreciate. The staff were great and the owner is a real friendly guy. If yer heading North or South on the A68, make sure this is yer pit stop, even for a coffee and cake. Made me smile today whilst I was eating, it was that good. It looks like a greasy spoon if you pass it on the road, but it’s not! It’s on a par with very good pub grub, and it’s really clean inside, as is the kitchen which I passed on the way to use the bathroom.
