Serendipi Tea in Fife

We've been a few times now and always try something different. I've had the Victoria sponge, the cheesecake and the various scones and they are all fabulous! The service is great and the staff are very friendly - the only thing that lets it down is the poor ventilation.

Fiona and Lloyd did a fantastic job of the buffet for my party excellent food so tasty everyone complemented it on the night, party coming up book this duo you will be happy

Popped in for a coffee and toastie before a recent Thornton Hibs home match. Fantastic food, excellent value and friendly staff. A real asset to the village of Thornton - I hope this place thrives!

Whenever I visit Fife I make a beeline for this cafe. Warm friendly service, an excellent choice of food and many gift ideas. Great place, great staff.

Fabulous tearoom in Thornton, friendly staff fantastic value and the quality of food was superb. Plenty of gifts available for sale also and more importantly the opportunity to take some of the very tasty cheesecake home. A delight for any occasion.

We popped in for a quick lunch, lovely place inside with things for sale as well as tables to sit at. Decent selection of sandwiches/ciabattas and lovely home made cakes. Very friendly service and food brought quickly. Would highly recommend

Been meaning to try out this wee cafe for some time. Everything was fab. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Had delicious Brie & bacon toastie and then possibly the best piece of coffee sponge cake I’ve ever had. Brrrrp! Highly recommended. As that great humanitarian & philosopher, Arnold Shwarzenegger, once said, “I’ll be back!”

I took my mum for afternoon tea with my sixteen month old son. This is a lovely wee place and owner was very accommodating and made us all feel very welcome. Food was lovely, a nice selection and the wee one fair enjoyed a taste of cake too

It was simply delicious. Freshly made sandwiches, 4 different types, smoked salmon amongst them and very well filled sandwiches they were. Tasty little jam n cream scones and a good selection of little cakes. Love the look, nothing matches, but china cups - brilliant. Would highly recommend and will return. Fabulous!,,

Lovely wee cafe/gift shop. Staff were excellent; went out of their way to accommodate. We had a very tasty bowl of soup. Didn't try the cakes having had a surfeit over Christmas, but will definitely go back to sample once my waistline permits. I really liked the selection of gifts on offer; all in all, I would definitely recommend.

I recently had afternoon tea here, I felt that for the price charged per person, £9.50, the sandwiches and cakes were a little on the light side. All the cakes were very small, there was insufficient jam and cream per scone.I left the cafe still hungry. Suggestion: a bigger selection of savouries and cakes per person; coffee pots for those drinking coffee. More jam/cream for scones.

Dropped in at 11.30 for a bite to eat . Took the excellent Carrot soup and a cheese ,onion and tomato toastie . Huge bowl of tasty soup and a nice toastie . The staff are friendly and helpful and the place was full . The word has got round quality food and good value for money
