We just popped in for a drink before going to a gig round the corner. It has a nice feel to it inside like a wine bar. Modern decor. It was quite busy but still managed to get a seat. They have a function room upstairs that was heaving with people. They had a good DJ mixing tracks together. I could easily have settled in for the night. However, they do need to decorate the toilets to the same standard as the rest of the place. A few people were having food. It looked good but we didn't try.

Good morning buffet and dinners in the dining room, and loved the upstairs café for breakfast and lunch. One wall of the café was glass and opened to a nice patio adjacent to the pool. Interestingly, the café was upstairs, but the pool was ground level due to the hilly nature of Scotland.

Went for steak night but extremely disappointed. Asked for medium steak but was more rare.Few soggy chips, hard peas and two underdone soggy onion rings. No salad as advertsed. Food was also cold. Asked for a prosecco and was told had no cold ones . Was given small one off top shelf behind bar but when I opened it it was completely flat and very yellow so I think it must have been on the shelf a long while! Lady opened big bottle which again came from top shelf so was not cold but was bubbly. Can't believe there was no bottles in wine fridge. Sticky toffee pudding was good though. Seeing as there was just one other couple in the restaurant there really was no excuse for steak meal being so poor as kitchen not rushed. Won't be rushing back!!!

This is a great local cafe. The staff are friendly and food is freshly made and tasty. Child friendly. Homemade cakes are also yummy.

Right by the ferry terminal so the ideal place to wait for a crossing. This is popular with workmen and with families. They serve a wide range of food and drinks. From snacks to full meals. From breakfasts to afternoon teas. I enjoyed a coffee and a tray bake. Would have called in twice more during my visit to Yell but it was closed.

We came for dinner on Wednesday evening. The place looked spotlessly clean. The service was first class. The food was delicious. I would recommend the fish & chips, and the wife would recommend the seabass. We will definitely come back again.

We met a friend for a meal while visiting Aberdeen and spotted the Station Hotel had a 'High Tea' banner outside. So we gave it a try and were jolly glad we did. The welcome we received was exceptionally friendly and we were given our menu with glasses of ice cold water. As our friends had never heard of the term, High Tea' we looked foreard to their reaction. Our orders were taken and the food was beautifully presented. It looked delicious and was just that. The unlimited coffee and tea were also most acceptable. The food was followed by scones, cream & strawberry jam which were superb. This was followed by more cakes and cup cakes. What a great experience and we will ceertainly return to the Denburn.

Had brunch there of gammon 2 fried eggs chips and peas. It took about 30 ninutes to cone. Place was packed. Lots of pensioners in there. Aberdeen were playing Celtic so all tvs were on as well as the sound. I sat by the big double doors and everytime someone came in or out I was hit by a blast of cold air so I kept my jacket on The building is victorian and un insulated. Despite it being full I still felt cold. Good size portion. Nice fluffy chips big piece of gammon. The peas were stone cold. Not heated in microwave long enough.£9.99.Good selection of ales and beers

We went to visit the Bears Den as the chippy in golspie was closed. However on arrival, it was closed. This wasn't mentioned anywhere on there Google page which could've been easily updated on the fly but they did not seem to do so. A 15 minute drive for nothing. I can't say anything about the food, I don't imagine it's bad but I will unfortunately not have the chance to try it due to them not managing their page properly. Not impressed!

Not well stocked and very expensive. Paid £2.25 for half loaf of bread. Other products on shelves well above acceptable price. Just a couple of hundred yards away is the local garage with very reasonable fuel prices and an excellent choice of hot and cold snacks from breakfast, throughout the day. So popular and there is a really comfortable covered in facility to eat should weather be inclement. Gem of a find and next door to the Caravan Club site where we were staying. Visitors making full use of this excellently facility.
