Good morning buffet and dinners in the dining room, and loved the upstairs café for breakfast and lunch. One wall of the café was glass and opened to a nice patio adjacent to the pool. Interestingly, the café was upstairs, but the pool was ground level due to the hilly nature of Scotland.

Lamentablemente el restaurante no estaba abierta cuando nos visite nuestro dafter golf en domingo como estábamos deseando estar de probar algunos de los cuatro, como tenía una buena reputación.

Visited the club with a mate. The condition of the course was very questionable and those considering playing there should wear Wellington Boots. The back nine in simply appalling, not just sodden but bunkers not trimmed etc. We arrived at the club house looking for food. The place was empty unwelcoming and the sandwiches on offer were awful. Thankfully they were not expensive.

Not a place to stop in for lunch with the Wife, but okay for a bite before or after a round of golf. Reasonably priced. Staff and local club members friendly

I golfed here and my wife walked round with me. The location by the River Tay is very picturesque. We visited the clubhouse afterwards. The steward and partner were very friendly and talkative and we enjoyed a drink and a chat. We did not have anything to eat though I must say the smell of chips in the clubhouse was very strong and hinted at the predominate fare on offer.

Visited the golf club for quick lunch with my husband, teenage daughter and her friend. Ordered drinks the glass that was brought for my daughter's drink was filfthy . It had like foundation all around the rim of the glass. Unacceptable. Food okay apart from my daughters baked potato which was really watery and disgusting. Don't go there ! Avoid at all costs. Setting lovely by the tay.

On arrival at the club an hour before our 11.00am tee time we were looking forward to a bacon roll and coffee only to be told that no catering was available and were directed to the town centre. When we eventually arrived back I enquired if I could play off the white tees but was advised that visitors had to play off the yellows and my female partner had to do the same. I am a single handicapper who plays many different courses and this is not normal protocol nowadays. The course is flat and has a great layout in a stunning location but, unfortunately, was in woefully poor condition. Apart from looking unkempt with grass 6" long around many of the bunkers, many of the greens had little or no grass. It is obvious that this is not going to be a short term problem to resolve. After our round we had a drink in the clubhouse and discussed our poor experience with the steward. He was very apologetic and gave reasons for the shortcomings with the catering which we accepted. Aberfeldy Golf Club is one of only a few golf courses in the area and has the opportunity and potential to be successful. However, it will require sound management and improved green keeping staff otherwise it will not attract visitors and is likely to drift into obscurity.

Very welcoming golf club who encourage non members to come and eat here for lunch, morning coffee,or afternoon tea. The inside of club house is basic but the scenery over the river Tay is great. The service is friendly and the golf course is easy to play when not flooded!

We called in for a pre-booked quick meal on our way to the enchanted forest, so actually had no interest in golf! The restaurant was very nice with a good atmosphere and the food was good honest upmarket pub food, not fancy but very well cooked and presented in nice surroundings at a reasonable price, the service was quick and we all enjoyed our visit.

We had a fantastic game of golf on this really stunning course. Well maintained and tricky. The bar is a real treat after a hard game of golf. I would highly recommend a round of golf here when in Perthshire.

It was the golf we were interesting in when we first went to Aberfeldy in our motor caravan..The area appealed so much and the golf course was all we wanted, flat, interesting, nestled amongst amazing scenery.....and there were even buggies ( essential for us)This year we have visited twice so far and our experience has been enhanced dramatically by eating in their wonderful little restaurant. The variety of food and the pricing was more then we could have expected and the atmosphere in this wonderful little club house was just amazing.. Our hosts Roz and Tam could not do enough for us and .everyone we met at the golf club were so friendly .We highly recommend eating in Aberfeldy golf club where you can also enjoy the added attraction of watching the activities on the river running adjacent to the course. We are looking forward to our third visit later this week. Thanks to Roz and Tam for their hospitality, excellent food and service with a smile. ..We will be back soon. Brian, Albert and Anne

Scott and the team haven't disappointed with a menu with regular favourites plus specials, whether seated inside or outside on the deck. A great selection of ales and lagers as well as wine and spirits.

We have frequented the Taybank for many years as we love to visit Dunkeld and they are very doggy friendly which helps. The bar downstairs is friendly, and when the v music starts it is rocking. The restaurant is beautifully designed with a nod to its’ Georgian bones but decorated in vibrant colours with equally vibrant paintings. Service is polite and friendly, and when you offer conversation with them, they are more than happy to join in. The start of the show has to be the food however, I don’t know who they have in the kitchen but my word, it delivered on all three courses. The menu is small yet perfectly formed. Notably, the cod was cooked to perfection, not only that, the seasoning was also on point. We opted for cheese at the end and to my delight they served it will some sourdough discard crackers with a sprinkling of Maldon sea salt. I make these crackers at home, never have I managed to get them s as fine and crispy as these, and to make them in such large quantities needs immense skill as they don’t keep, they need to be made in the day… It should also be noted that the wine list is well curated, every wine we tried was quality and incredibly reasonable by the glass. They also make a fabulous negroni We will return, can’t fault this place
