Amazing, amazing, amazing. Fantastic food and reasonable prices. The restaurant was busy and there just seemed a buzz about the place. Venison empanadas were unreal. The venison haggis was so good I could have ordered a second plate. The wife had the gnocchi which for a starter which burst full of flavour. The pork rib main was very well balanced. The waitress was attentive and knew menu well. We will certainly be back sooner rather than later. A cracking Ayrshire gem

We ordered our meal at 6.45pm and didn't get the starters until 8.00pm. Serving staff came to the table twice to get the drinks order, only 4 of us, and still got it wrong. My meal was a simple Haddock and chips and the fish was overcooked and the chips hard. Not somewhere I'll be going back to.

Beautiful 3 course meal with very generous portions. The food was really lovely and the service was great. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

This is a terrific place to eat. I have been many times with friends and family and the food is always of a high standard and delicious as is the presentation.It is a lovely bright inviting place and the staff are so friendly and cheery.Cakes are delicious too.Top class a must to visit!

Go there often the high tea is great value ,the staff are all very pleasant,the manager is very professional,the come round to make sure everything is ok . Hilly recommend the restaurant

Doesn't look much from outside but I shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Just had the most amazing meal here. Baked goats cheese, lamb fillet with peppercorn sauce, then pineapple and passion fruit pavlova. I swear I haven't had such a delicious meal in a long time. The ambience was really friendly and pleasant. The staff were attentive and the food was served quickly, freshly made and hot. Plenty of flash cars in the car park so obviously well loved in this area. Lovely sea view out of the front too. Very pleased and would strongly recommend. Do not miss this when in the Maybole area or when visiting Culzean Castle.

Such a shame what a lovely place and meal, but some of the staff were rather rude. At 930 the staff continued to remove items from our table, turning lights off and creating a very u welcoming environment. Obviously staff were pretty desperate to close. We felt very unwelcome in the end.

Fantastic afternoon tea experience. Very relaxed atmosphere and first class service from all members staff. Beautiful sandwiches, cakes and scones. Definitely something worth experiencing. Exceptional in every way and exceeded our expectations. Don’t hesitate!

Attended a wedding; the food, the staff, the accommodation EVERYTHING was perfect, rooms are pricey but you get what you pay for!

What a real tradition place to eat if you ever want a meal that reminds you of ya mum cooking this is the place to go, Tradition meals, British and Scottish, homemade meals and puddings, absolutely stunning views while you eat amazingly tasty nostalgic food, good value for money too!

We've eaten here many times over the years and it needs a fresh review. Very pleasant place set in tranquil surroundings of a local fishery. Food is always very good, as is the pleasant, unobtrusive service. Nice ambience, generous portions, whatever one has to eat, spotlessly clean, all in all great value for money. Well worth seeking out for a wee run in the Ayrshire countryside.

Stopped for coffee and to visit gift shop. Both excellent. Very friendly staff and Jade had really good information about where we were staying. Went back the following day for breakfast that was well cooked and good value. Very comfortable surroundings and spotlessly clean. Definitely recommend.

What a wonderful shop and cafe the hub of the local community. The manger Alex and Young worker Becca are fabulous such excellent customer service. I'm currently walking the entire UK coast path solo for the RNLI with my Big agnes tent Aggie since July 4th over 7,600 walked and I am staying at a campsite nearby yo rest a sore ankle. Wow I arrived and was treated like a local welcomed in offered coffee and cake. The atmosphere was heartwarming everyone happy picking up provisions hot food or stopping by for a chat. A lost dog was found and kept amd cuddled by a staff member till the happy owner arrived to claim his doggy ❤️ fully recommend this wonderful place. Thank yoy manager Alex 5 star .

Visited Maidens recently for a week and used Little K’s kitchen every day . They do the most amazing salad rolls , super fresh too and also as I discovered rolls on sausage & onion . Absolutely delicious . I’ve travelled over an hour previously to get one of these salad rolls as I just love them so much .
