The best restaurants serving British food in Glasgow and Surrounding

Absolutamente adoro este lugar. Gran vibra, grandes canciones, y en general un lugar brillante para relajarse y reírse. Me encanta el flujo constante de DJs y bandas que llegan, y la escena animada. La gente que trabaja aquí es tan encantador de los caballeros en la puerta al personal del bar (gritó a Ross y sus margaritas de pomelo 10 / 10). Excelente variedad de cócteles / bebidas en oferta, especialmente si te gusta la cerveza. Sin duda un lugar para pasar por unos pocos la próxima vez que usted está buscando una buena noche en Glasgow.

The staff are very friendly. We popped in for lunch and it was amazing. I would highly recommend the bbq chicken melt and the coleslaw was to die for. I really enjoyed my visit ☺️

Lovely surroundings inside and out, although the restraunt could have been illuminated a wee bit brighter. The table arrangement was also good inthat most diners could see into the equestrian arena without much difficulty. The staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgable about the menu items, and the seating was comfortable too. I was not aware of any background music playing inside the dining area, however there was music playing to those seated outside. The Italian themed menu was very much what you'd expect, and we soon placed our orders for drinks and food, which the server read back to us to ensure all was correct. 2 Half and half Pizza / Pasta dishes, 1 pizza dish and a trio of mini burgers was our table order. Not long before our food arrived, except...., 1 of the half and half meals was wrong, and the Pizza dish had been 'misplaced', so 2 of our table of 4 had food to eat and 2 had to wait..... about 5 minutes or so later the wrong half and half order was corrected, with the pizza dish still to be completed and served, so a bowl of chips was provided to 'entertain' that member of out table while they waited 'just 5 minutes' as we weretold, for their food. Half a pizza was then also deliverd to the table about 5 minutes later - where did that come from???? Then a complete pizza arrived about another 10 minutes later, by which time the other 3 at our table had nearly finshed eating, if it wasn't for the fact that the crust of the pizzas was so nice and crispy that the knives provided could only cut the crust with multiple attempts of 'sawing' at the crust - not what you want to do when dining out. I can understand a wee bit why people carry their own knives after this experince. The 'lost pizza' had by now arrived and we continued our delayed and uncomfortable dining - as one of our group tried to 'catch up'. 'The late Pizza will not be charged to your bill' our server informed us, as we were all clear that the error in our order took place in the kitchen. So our friend had one and a half pizzas plus a bowl of chips, and they had been proovided with a sharp knife to cut their pizza crust. I think we would would all have been much happier if we had the correct food served up all at the same time. Although the overall 'dining experience' of this evening was bordering on 'acceptable' the lack of background music to drown the loud guy at the next table would have been a vast improvement, as would us receiving the correct ordered food - served all at the same time. My experience of the evening was - 'Frankie and Benny's' with tables instead of booths - and without the music to drown out other tables conversations. Would I return? - I would go to 'Coast' in nearby Langbank which has a wider range of food and, in my opinion, better views to look out onto.

I bought a too good to go bag here, supposedly £13 worth of food. The whole bag was inedible. It was truly disgusting and I'm not a fussy eater. I put the whole lot in the bin after trying a bite of each. It was disgusting. Please don't spend your money on food here. It looks and certainly tastes nothing like the pictures. There was karaoke on when I was in which had the worst "singer" I had ever experienced.

Very clean and comfortable and the man that did breakfast was very good efficient and friendly would defo recommend this place

The carvery food is incredible value for money. Atmosphere warm and comfortable. Staff extremely helpful- particularly Kendal ! We visit 2/3 times a week as we enjoy a roast with veggies. Highly recommended

The worst ever! Ordered chasni with rice chicken dry as a bone and can with chips still frozen in the middle, I used to order regularly from here but avoid the owner didn’t want to acknowledge my complaint just told me not to order again just avoided food poisoning for sure 🤮

Came here for lunch with mum dad and nephew food always so good and cheap ideal for a wee cheap lunch with the family , 4 of us al fed and drinks under £30 pounds that is so amazing especially with family with kids

This evening I took my elderly parents my daughter and grand baby for dinner , I have been going a few weeks in a row with no issues till today, while awaiting table to get cleared my mum tried to signal to a waitress to see if she could clear table she avoided by going round another gentleman so the gentleman tapped her as she passed as he had saw my mother signal to her which she couldn’t have missed her reply to the gentleman was I heard her yes we were aware but you chose to walk past instead of a smile or reassure that your busy someone would get to us however another waitress came over and cleared the table and the young lad wiped it , my daughter ordered our food through the app we got our food mums macaroni needed a reheat and I was given no cutlery none of us had our drinks so I thought I’ll ask for cutlery when they bring our drinks dad was finished his dinner I’m still waiting mum had still to get hers heated so I went up and said to manager John who sent someone with a fork and he brought the drinks saying the girl didn’t bring the drinks cos the people at the table were being abusive to her not only were we shocked to hear this my daughters answer was we ordered through your app all the staff including the female manager was lovely the young boy was lovely and the waitress in the black and white dress was lovely but the tall slim girl in the dark needs to be trained in working with the public to go and lie saying the people at the table were very rude to her calling her a cow is disgusting if that were the case we should have been asked to leave this is the reason we were given to why we didn’t get our drinks !! Not good enough if she felt there was an issue easy solution get someone else to bring them like they did the manager John so dads meal was finished mine was cold and eventually got cutlery then mums had to be heated so what was meant to be a nice wee treat turned into a decision of we will not be back disgusted at the whole situation treated like that let me down terribly not to mention my mum and dad in their mid 80,s belong told that the girl had accused our table of abuse c as my daughter said even if that were the case it’s not right holding back our drinks till we had to go chase them up spoiled our night so all down to the tall slim waitress dressed all in black get people skills and hope she has a better day to treat her customers

Estábamos en Glasgow para un concierto y fuimos a Macsorley's para una de las noches. Había una gran banda tocando y los lugareños eran muy agradables, tuvimos una noche fabulosa. Definitivamente volveré.

tionist who checked us in and explained all about the hotel and its restaurant. We booked breakfast for following day. Our room was on the 3rd floor and was deemed double deluxe. Upon entering I found it clean tidy and well done out with tv,large mirror ,cupboard and bed with ensuite bath and shower. it was comfortable enough with extra pillows in said cupboard. All electrics are powered by your door card so you cant really forget or lose it. Only problem was it was a warm night but if you opened the window a lot of traffic noise was unleashed. But dinner and breakfast in the restaurant was excellent(seperate reveiw)

Quite a regular place we visit. Selection excellent Prices reasonable. Love the coffee refills for free 🆓

Pauline was super helpful and went out of her way to ensure we had an enjoyable experience, Carvery queue was long but worth the wait as the food quality and selection were spot on!

Please be aware they operate a new parking monitor and send charges through the post for £50+ if they deem your stay as unauthorised. This well sign posted and appears to built in a way to trap innocent people stopping in the car park for a short time. Very upset that this large company has decided to go down this path to make a profit.
