Please be aware they operate a new parking monitor and send charges through the post for £50+ if they deem your stay as unauthorised. This well sign posted and appears to built in a way to trap innocent people stopping in the car park for a short time. Very upset that this large company has decided to go down this path to make a profit.

Love going to this restaurant. We visit it roughly 2-3 times per month. Donna in particular cannot do enough for you. I eat a very low calorie lunch/dinner and Donna will happily help me with a meal that i can eat and enjoy - nothing is a bother. I also bent her ear for a long time about getting a light beer in - low and behold, they now have Coors Light on pump!! They also have a kids play area at the far end of the restaurant, so couples like us can enjoy a quiet meal without kids running around...

We recently went here for a family meal some arrived earlier in the party but we all managed to get ordered together. The starter came out quick and was good but it took a while for the main, the staff apologise for the delay and brought it out promptly, the food was good I ordered half chicken and chips but I could have ate more, we did order desert but the dinner dishes were still on the table but again the staff apologise. Kids had fun in the soft play though which is always a bonus . Food was good but not the best portions in my opinion

Ate here recently as part of a large party celebrating 2 birthdays. The seating area we were allocated was great as here were 18 of us spread over 2 tables. I love the fact the children can go and play while waiting on their dinner. The menu was varied and not expensive, 1 of our party is gluten free and on inquiring with the staff, someone came to our table with a chart to double check what we wanted to order was going to be ok. Our food was good, typical of this type of establishment. We will certainly visit again. Thanks to the staff for all their help with the birthday cake.

We were not expecting gourmet food from a Brewer's Fayre and we didn't get it - at dinner anyway. Fish and chips were ok but our starter of garlic bread with cheese, which tasted fine, was miniscule and very overpriced for what it was. We said so, when asked 'how was your meal?? by someone, who may have been the manager, and he agreed. He said he had given feedback many times about the portion size but nothing ever changed. He immediately refunded the charge for it.Breakfast was very good indeed with an excellent choice and hot food was freshly cooked to order. Our waitress was very friendly and cheerful and we enjoyed the experience.

We decided to visit as a Friday night treat as we have been coming to Belziehill Farm for years. We pre booked a table but needn’t have bothered as the restaurant was not busy on arrival which was unusual. We were shown to a table and immediately felt the coldness of the air conditioning. The whole place was freezing and most dinners were sitting with jackets on! We ordered our food and refill drinks. We filled our glasses from the self service machine but our drinks tasted terrible. Mine was far too syrupy and left me with an upset stomach for the rest of the night. My wife’s drink was the opposite, if was too weak and looked like water. The drinks station was filthy particularly around the coffee machine. The staff were hardly run off their feet so there was no real excuse for this. There was also a man wiping tables as guests left but appeared to be using the same cloth for all with no spray. The prices have also rocketed. We were £40 for 3 people with no starters or desserts. I am sorry to say that we will not be returning after all these years as standards have definitely slipped.

You already know you're not going to get top notch meals in a chain like this so nobody goes expecting to be blown away by their menu choice. However, what you do get at Belziehill is decently priced food, a good variety on the menu and value for money deals if you eat before 6.30pm. When kids are eating for £1,who would complain?!?On our recent visit (Friday night) staff were friendly and efficient, service was quick and the restaurant and soft play clean. We will return.

My husband and I visited on Sunday for an early lunch. We were in about 12:30pm and it wasn't that busy so were seated straight away.I opted for the Chicken and Rib combo and my hubby had the Ultimate Burger. There was an addition of two fried eggs which was no bother at all. The meals came out in a timely manner and it is one of the best meals I have had for a long time. The chicken and ribs both were juicy and succulent and had a lot of meat on them meaning it was a struggle to finish. The burger was well cooked and the toppings were plentiful. The two fried eggs were just cooked so the yolk was still runny and perfect for dipping things into. The waitresses were amazing and made sure that everything was ok. Not once did we see the smile fade from their faces. We eat out here regularly and always find the staff to be friendly and approachable. If we ever have any issues they are sorted quickly and never repeated. We will never hesitate to come here

Firstly, the staff are the best iv ever witnessed in a Brewers Fayre especially Jordan who was polite, welcoming and friendly he couldn't do enough for us the service was excellent, we got squeezed in at last minute and good came out prompt and roasting hot. . However, I feel that for the money and the title on the menu being a 'Mediterranean feast' I cant help feeling a bit let down on taste. The salad was tiny, mountain of dry rice and a tspn of humous and tziaki. Maybe mixed leaves, dressing on the side? Or sauce or lemon? Other meals were good quality. Thanks for squeezing us in, we would come back.

And she was cheeky and told me we wouldn’t be sat together so I just hung up the phone, I found her ride, poor customer service and to be giving false information! She clearly could not be bothered! No way they had been cleaned in ages, toilet paper on floor and in urinals. We then entered the restaurant and ordered our starter and mains. The Starter arrived within 15mins however, it was dark brown, overcooked and burnt and chicken was super dry. The Barbeque Sauce was tasty but not tasty enough to mask the burnt taste of the Goujons.

Attended here as my daughter was invited to a birthday party. Not very many seats in soft play for parents to sit. Got a side seat in area which was ideal. Went to order a light bite to eat and some drinks. Was told not allowed to order food there, which I accepted - health and safety etc, but manager very politely told me to leave my daughter in soft play and come out and get a seat in restaurant and look through the window to see her. That’s fine, many parents would do that however not every child is the same and can be left in a strange environment on their own without a familiar face there. The manager had no right to make the judgement. I wasn’t pleased with her attitude in the slightest, very cheeky and as if she knew best. Ordered some drinks, don’t do full sugar juice but can use the self serve drink machine and get re-fills - that was fine and ordered them. Go to the drinks machine, Pepsi max isn’t working, Diet Pepsi isn’t working. Asked the manager to fix this and her reply was No, we can’t do anything about that but get a flavoured juice. Well your colleague has just told me I could get Diet Pepsi or Pepsi Max when that is not the case, it has to be a flavoured kind. So I picked a flavoured one but then when we went back for refills - none was working.

Where do I start ,on arriving to what was my favorite place to eat we were told we would wait up to 45 mins for a table which is to be expected in a busy for night but when we went to sit in the bar area out of 7 tables in the bar area only 1 was semi clean table was available to sit at while we were waiting so we sat and we sat and while we sat waiting not one member of staff came up to clean any of the tables and as customers came in from hotel next door they started to clear there own tables . After 1hour went by i went up to staff one of which was the manager( i presume) standing taking i asked about our table to be given a blank look as in nobody even knew we were waiting for a table and who I think was the manager asked me who had taken my booking when we came in. I have never had a problem with here before and we enjoy eating here something was really wrong tonight either short of staff or management not up to scratch staff walking about while dirty tables and a end part of bar full of glass place looked a mess could run this place with my eyes shut such a shame as never had a problems here before and would hate to see it go down hill and it was not that busy after we were in about 30 mins so there was more than likely a table ready much quicker than the hour we sat but again management should have notice our booking.

We stayed at the Premier Inn next door from Friday to Monday. Nice modern pub, very clean and we found most of the staff to be extremely pleasant and helpful, especially the lady manager with the dark hair who’s name I didnt catch. We visited every day for breakfast and also ordered appetisers and kids meals on the Saturday and the food came out promptly and hot. My son even asked for seconds which he NEVER does! Decent quality pub food and ideal for families. It was a real bonus having the soft play area next door which meant the kids didn’t get bored and we could eat our food in peace as there was plenty of seating around the play area meaning we could keep an eye on the kids. The only reason for not giving it 5 stars is the slightly surly barman who, when we arrived at 10.35 am for breakfast as we’d neen informed breakfast, which we’d prepaid for, was on til 11 (only at weekends apparently) we were told breakfast is finished. When we asked whether we could help ourselves to the pastries (which were still out along with all the juices and yoghurts) for the children, his sulky response was - ‘you’re welcome to eat them before they’re chucked ‘ - not very professional or helpful. However the nice female manager did come out and apologise for the misinformation and offered to refund one of the breakfasts which helped to appease us. All in all I’d recommend and would go back.

In that it looks great but in reality is a bit of a howler. Unfortunately for this particular site, i think my review will probably touch more on the overall brewers fayre operation than the restaurant itself, but there we go. We were greeted by a gentleman who looked like he would rather be anywhere else in the world, told there was a 20 minute wait but could wait in the play area with my daughter. So of we went...past dozens of empty tables...to stand in the play area. I understand, with being a chef, that sometimes when short staffed a wait is more to keep thing from being chaotic, but it was a weird one regardless. Anyway, i find the whole order at the bar thing a load of nonsense. Is this a restaurant or a mcdonalds?! If i have to wait to be shown to a seat, why cant someone come and take my order too? If you want to be a restaurant, act like a restaurant. Food came out fairly quick, kids spaghetti was dumped into a bowl from the tub it was microwaved in, sauce all clumped together at one side, not mixed, looked unappetising...my steak was surprisingly cooked perfectly...unfortunatly the chips were cold and hard, peas dried up, tomato burnt, onion rings bland and, for want of a better word here, floppy. But well done to the grill chef for my medium sirloin, this one star is all down to you! We waited an age for our plates to be cleared, nobody asked us how the food was, and our desserts took an age to arrive. At least 20 minutes. Of course, weve already paid, so what do these people care? Who cares about service when the moneys already in the bank! So we waited, eventually i got the profiteroles with melted cream on top (yum) and my daughter got her ice cream and choco sauce, strangely lacking the chocolate sauce. Thankfully im not local so i wont be back but ill probably avoid the whole brewers fayre operations locally. Whats the point in trying so hard to look like a restaurant when the food is microwaved nonsense that you have to order at a bar? Make a bit of effort here whitbread. Its getting stale.

Visited very briefly at lunchtime. Did not buy anything due to the rudeness of one of the two women working there. Asked for a pizza and chips combination thing that was sitting already prepared and snapped at by the woman stating that there were three pizza options. Without telling me what they were I said I would take whatever was nearest. I’d never seen a “pizza crunch” before but it looked horrible and said I didn’t want that one to which I was met with a huffy retort of “well that’s why I asked you want you wanted”. A list of what you do have instead of “pizza and chips” might help your customers then. The shop was swarming with school kids but I am in my 40’s and certainly won’t be spoken to in such a curt and nasty manner which they may be possibly used to using with their younger clientele that won’t tell them where to go in response due to naivety and lack of experience. Walked out without purchasing anything, which I’m glad about as the food looked pretty disgusting.

Last minute decision to go out for a local family dinner, thought we would try the pheasant as not been in for a good while. Very quiet when arrived, no one to greet us, just sat down, taken a bit of time before acknowledgment, then menus giving, no explanation of menu, ideas of dishes etc, the place has no atmosphere, some raving music playing from open kitchen window, Anyways ordered drinks, ‘ main course, waiter was nice enough, brought all 4 meals out one by one, steam dish came out with fries at the bottom and a lump of very thin steak, with loads of sauce & onions, looked like something you would serve a dog, not great presentation for the price, asked for it to be well done, burnt, it was pink inside, waiter was lovely not his fault, he told the chef, the chef was very abrupt manner to the waiter saying it’s a thin steak, canny burn it, that’s the way it is? So as we were the only family in the restaurant we heard the whole conversation, the chef was annoyed and not nice to his colleague, Waiter kept apologising, which we states it wasn’t his fault, asked if we wanted another meal free of charge, by the time this 2nd meal came all 3 of us had finished, we ordered desserts so we were all eating together. Bill came we got charged, and they gave us 4 soft drinks free of charge. The waiter was very nervous and I just paid and left, didn’t want to cause a fuss, the food was ok not great, service slow, as there was only 3 tables in and we were the only table there for the last hour/bit, chef rude , as didn’t care about the customer, leaving the waiter to deal with us, which was a shame, not a nice atmosphere , we never enjoyed as it was so quiet, no atmospheric and the chef obviously wanted home. Disappointed as not been for a while and will re think about going back, menu not a good selection to pick from, maybe lunch is better, unsure.
