All the rolls were stale and dry. Fritters were dark. Clearly dirty oil used. Absolutely uneatable.

Disappointed that they took the decision to soak 2 portions of chips with vinegar when 1 person is allergic and the other doesn't like esp when we stated salt only very poor ...and can't ph9ne to complain as they don't pick up Both portion had unfortunately to be binned they did look OK though

Food very poor, pizza was cold, chips looked like they had been cooked in dirty oil, the sausage was horrible too the batter was falling off and drenched in grease

Service has gone well down hill

Could taste the old fryer oil. The fish batter was nearly black. The after taste was awful. The curry sauce was the only ok thing

Just had the best freshly made spicy chicken pizza! Very tasty! Highly recommend! Will definitely be back.

Food used to be lovely but now they are playing on being the only Chip shop in Whifflet and quality is poor.

This was awful. Pizza cold, chips undercooked and not full order. Utter disappointment. Most went in bin.

So i decided to try this place for the first time ever and last time ever jeezo greasy is too nice a word for the food saturated comes close for every bite of food you got half a litre of fat to gulp it down with. Im suprised the health inspectors not had a field day with the food they serve. If you looking for a heart attack deffo the place to go but if you want to live a little longer then please avoid at all costs.

Food was great temperature fresh and very tasty would highly recommend this place and delivery was on time can't praise them enough

Great wee chippy with with complete selection, you can also have baked potatoes or a pizza. The shop is run by the Godfather himself. 😎

Boggin!!!!!bought a mini mixed box selection of onion rings,,ch icken,,onion rings&masarella sticks costing £4.49 the bin ended up getting it!!!!

Food was great well packaged. The king rib was out of this world rare to find one cooked so well. Hamburger supper was great chips where juicy and cooked well. Fiancee said the special fish was delicious. Would definitely order from the codfather again. Highly impressed and would highly recommend

Parti voir un match du Partick thistle contre les rangers nous n'avions pas beaucoup le choix avec mes amis. Nous sommes donc parti dans ce fastfood pour manger local avant le match nous n'aurions pas dû car aucun de nous n'a fini son plat et on a été obligé de prendre à manger ailleurs après le match.

Tye food was not up to its usual standard very dry and unaptising ..not good value for money ...this time arround ....disapointed is an understatment

We called in here for few suppers. It is reasonably priced portions aren't huge but food was good. Staff please take enough

had chips and curry sauce and found the chips dry and the curry was kept warmed up in a plastic jug and tasted very bland

We just moved back to Coatbridge and this place is great , I've eaten a lot of fish and chips but these guys are award winners in my opinion . Give it a try.

Excellent chippy. Good prices, food tasty and portion sizes correct. Staff pleasant and well worth a visit if local or passing through Coatbridge.

we recently had a fish and chips carry out from the codfather really nice and freshly cooked a massive portion of chips and 2 special fish in each delicious worth a try you wont regret it

Service was very poor, and I believe the fish was frozen fish. wont be back. I had to wait 15 minutes for my 2 fish suppers. I would not have bothered about the excessive wait had the fish suppers been good.

Staff very friendly. Have been going to this chippy since it opened and have gotten to know the staff very well. Never had a problem with the food, the service nor the prices.

Go here regularly and nice guys in there and good value for money. Always go for fish which is crisp and lovely

This chippy is the best in Coatbridge. The fish suppers are out of this world,two large fish and loads of chips for £5, canny beat it! We share one supper between the two of us as there is more than enough for two.

Have been frequenting here for a while its good food. I find the staff are hit and miss, sometimes they are very nice and chatty othertimes they just let you stand in silence while they talk to each other.Prices are about average for the area but I have seen them steadly rise, but I'm left with the feeling I dont get any better service for the price.The place can look grotty but thats only late at night before they close.
