quality food with a reasonable atmosphere and the service is not too bad either reasonable priced drinks with a delicious meal then the dessert finishes it off nicely

Doesn't change time after time here fantastic food excellent service. Great value for money .If the chef ever ever leaves this place I will stop coming too as this guy can cook everything from A 2 Z .only this time came to our table to discuss a vegetarian option for my daughter ..Top Mark's .keep it up guys n well done

Visited corrigans as had a groupon voucher to use. Was unsure what we were walking into as had seen quite a few bad reviews but thought go anyway and see what it’s like. Had a 3 course meal and cannot fault one bit of it. Food tastes absolutely brilliant and was huge portions. If you like good pub grub definitely give this place a go. Will return again after this as we all thorougly enjoyed it.

Visited Sunday afternoon with my wife, son and grandson using a Groupon 3 Courses for 4 people voucher. As it was through Groupon the menu was slightly restricted but the choices available were more than adequate. The young lady serving our table was really nice dealing with our orders very efficiently. Our drinks were very reasonably priced . All our starters were very good with decent sized portions. The main courses were also very good and again very large portions . The sweets were delicious. All in all we could not make one single complaint about any part of our meal. Fair enough , as commented in some of the reviews, there may be some parts of the pub needing a bit of TLC but we were not there to look at the walls , we were there for the food which was really good along with good service and really nice staff. The Groupon deals must be one of the best bargains going though having checked the main menu I would'nt hesitate to go back for that . Good food, good staff, good prices. Worth going to .

Visited on a Sunday evening. Had a lovely meal. Starters were huge and steak was cooked to perfection. All home cooked food, not frozen like some restaurants.Drink prices weee fantastic, cheapest about and the cocktails were to die for. Had such a nice evening, we stayed for the karaoke until closing time.Would highly recommend

Like others, I bought this as a Groupon and again like others, wouldn't go again. The staff were very nice and accommodating but sadly the food was not the best. We had the steak and chips and they were okay, nothing to write home about, however, apart from us, there was only one other table eating..........that should have told us something....then the karaoke started.........so the quiet meal went right out the window. If you don't mind, loud and 'edible' food then this is the place for you but sadly..............NOT ME!!

Bought Groupon deal 3courses for 2 people £16.50. Choice was good for price. Starters were lovely, steak pie delious tho could have been warmer, my fish was not cooked so sent it back, sadly was put off tho offered me replacement, took macaroni cheese instead, this was nice, puddings were yummy, yes place could do with an upgrade and good scrub, not sure would take child in tho as swearing by drunken men at bar. Would i go back , possibly. For price paid can't really moan too much.

Terrible meal no mushy peas French fries not chips . cup of tea came when meal was ordered freezing when meal came .all together rotten.

Went to this venue today, food nice especially steak pie had a groupon voucher. But the venue was cold, and needs updated apart from that it ok staff nice and helpful

Came in with my mum and had the steak pie. Was reasonably priced and very enjoyable. Pub is always busy at the weekend as they do karaoke etc. No complaints.

Went in for an evening meal with the wife ordered two lentil soups,both arrived freezing cold, the girl took them away and brought fresh ones. Then arrived the mains 2 burger meals burgers were burnt like coal and the chips half cooked . The girl again apologies and claimed that it’s a trainee chef in the kitchen himself.

Good food at reasonable prices. Had the three course deal and although it is a set menu, we were more than happy. Got the feeling that they make the effort regarding customer service.

Was told this was good place to go but was not impressed. Had a 50 min wait for starters, bruschetta not worth the money.main meals were ok. Didn't stay after that, wasted a birthday celebration. Wasn't busy only one family in front of us. Looked like only one barman and one chef on. Won't be back.

First time visit for a three course meal with friends and immediately got off to a good start. We were greeted with a great smile by a young guy who we later discovered was called Ryan. He showed us to a comfy booth, brought us a drink and gave us time to check out the menu, no rush.

Good food and excellent service. The staff are always really lovely. It's small but comfortable and welcoming. Great g&t;!

Pleasant experience staff friendly enough food okay , I had macaroni cheese was cooked and pasta was soft sauce cheesy but half a grinder of pepper put me off eating full meal , wife had steak pie looked amazing so if I come back will have that again

Great wee friendly bar that does really nice food. Food always nicely presented and tasty. Staff very friendly and offer advice on specials etc. Well worth a visit

Got invited out for lunch from my partner had steak pie it wasn't good at all as a chef myself I realise the pressure people are under but it wasn't busy at all

First choice on the menu was not available for 2 out of 4 of us on this visit and a long wait for 2nd choice too ! Food was average, felt like they were doing us a favour letting us eat there ! Had a good night despite this

Excellent food and value for money friendly staff and usually quick service would defo recommend to anyone they also do a great breakfast buffet which is cheap as chips x

was in on sat night great atmosphere del the manager was very friendly as was all staff including door staff good karaoke with a few good singers especially girl called kat and guy called charlie who likes to wander among customers and sings to them will def be back drinks were cheapest ive seen for long time

Booked through groupon. 2 X 2 course meal deal for £17. Arrived there and took to table. Very quiet. Staff polite and took drinks order and gave us menu. Starters and steak. nice food and steak cooked perfectly. Would go again with another groupon deal.

What can i say love this place always good food good service and good portion sizes and good choices on the menu.

Utilised a groupon voucher, Starter and Steak for two for £19. Cant really go wrong. Starter portions were huge, so huge I couldn't actually eat all of mine, thankfully I had my 16 yrs old dustbin, opps son with me. He ate what I couldn't. Steaks were ordered, Sirloin, medium and Rump rare to medium. Sadly both came overcooked for our preference with the Sirloin more well done than medium and the rump, med to well rather than what had been requested. Taste wise both were very good, if a little over cooked. Both steaks came with the usual trimmings, Flat mushrooms, onion rings, tomato and chips, again the portions were not scrimped. I have no idea how we managed to slip in a pud ....but we did, Strawberry Meringue Cheesecake.....amazing....and huge!We visited on a Thursday evening, not quite mid week and not quite the weekend so can be difficult to judge how busy a place is going to be. Our experience.....empty, why we needed to book online ill never know we had the choice of almost all the tables bar one which was taken by a solitary dinner. It was 6.30pm......too late for dinner or perhaps too early? In the hour we were in there were no other dinners, a real shame as the food was so good, albeit a little over cooked. The Restaurant was cold, it is not a small place yet seemed to only have two portable gas fires heating the entire building, perhaps the heating had broken and was awaiting a fix? I don't know. Apart form the cold over all the surroundings are ok, wooden tables and chairs, nice natural wood flooring, some booths, over all not bad at all. The BIG let down was the toilets, the ladies in particular. 4 cubicles, 3 of which didn't have door locks, the one that did have a lock didn't have loo roll!! Bathroom gymnastics to hold the door with my foot, after such a meal was, impossible. Thankfully the place was empty so need to worry about interruptions. Sinks hanging off the walls, I hope not the norm, perhaps an accident? I have another voucher so we will no doubt find out. Would be a real shame to loose clientele over such a simple fix, few bolts for the doors and a sink replacement.

Used to be good last year but has went downhill recently. Food quality and waiting time was a let down now . Ok for a quick bite of your out n fancy stopping in for a side I suppose ..

Went for lunch yesterday to this pub 1 girl was running the bar plus dining area waited 20 minutes for drinks then came the lunch I had scampi which was cheap minced fish flavoured that looked like scampi but certainly didn't taste like it plates cold chips lukewarm and peas cold my husband had a burger to be fair said was nice but plate and chips lukewarm the pub itself was cold so will definitely not visit here again

my husband and i went for lunch had murshrooms I had Pokora starters then we had chicken good helpings staff were very nice meal was lovely would go again

Visited the wishaw Corrigans this afternoon for lunch, when walking the food area was empty with couple people in the bar areWe sat at our table and women came to take our juice order and then took our food order within around 10mins we were present with our meal. The stake pie is usually lovely but on this occasion it was the worse i'd seen, the gravy was so watery and never smelt good at all, the stew was in big lumps and the carrots were cold, the plate should have been warm but i was able to lift it with my hands no heat at all.The gents bathroom is very cold and the hot tap doesn't work, heard they have no running hot water in the bathrooms.Overall the experience was ok and ive ate here many time must have been a new cook, what does annoy me staff who smoke tend to stand right on the door arch and smoke wile people are trying to get in, for one no person should smoke it they are dealing or been surrounded with food.

Four of us visited last week end not the best. Staff nice however did not know what was in the meals. Steak was average no taste. Cocktails were ok but did not have the correct spirits / mixers to make the first 2 we asked for. Don't think we will be back.

Have tried both breakfast and lunchtime menu, prefer lunch, the fish is really thin crispy batter, love the breaded mushrooms too.

It's a hit or a miss sometimes it's really good other times its disgusting stopped coming here a while ago because it wasn't good at all usually have steak pie but it was horrendous but when it's good it's really good

We chose this restaurant based on previous recommendations and were not dissapointed. The menue was extensive and a good choice too. We arrived when they were very busy but went to some lengths to find a table. Staff were very efficient and courteous . Price wise, excellent value for money. To summarise, good food, wide choice, good value, big portions!

We went here on a Groupon deal on a Friday night. We were made to feel very welcomed by the staff who were also very attentive. We had pakora and cheese melts for starters very genorous portions and enjoyable. We both had steak which was cooked to perfection so well done to the chef. I had carmel apple pie with custard for afers whcih was reasonable priced for s sweet at £3.95. The biggest surprise was the price of drinks very cheap. We will return as they have some fantastic deals on during the week. They also offer an all you can eat breakfast for £3.99.

We have been here for the breakfast buffet, self service and a good choices to choose from, great start to any day..

I went here with a friend d last night the food was so amazing. We both had breaded mushrokms for startee and then I had the bbq chicken melt and my friend had the steak both really amazing meals. Music was brilliant just to my taste even had a little karaoke. Staff were fab can not fault the place. Will definitely be back with friends.

This quiet like pub/restaurant sits on the corner of the wishaw main street but to your suprise the food is good. At lunch time it is not that busy but if your hungry then drop in and have a bite to eat. The stake pie is very warm (mind you don't burn your fingers ) but its presented well and is lovley.and at a good price.

Went to this pub on Saturday evening with my friend, first time ive ever went out for an evening in Wishaw, I must say it was the most friendly pub ive been in for a long time, and the prices were brilliant,plenty plenty change from a tenner for two drinks.The manager Del was very friendly, always around , chatting to all the customers, even the door staff were nice.Had a very enjoyable evening and will definitly go back there for the meal for two and bottle of wine for £20 wow.Thankyou to to everyone who made my first evening out in Wishaw a nice experience

Food and service was first class and very reasonably priced. We had the 3 course lunch menu for £7.95 and the portion size and quality of the food was great. Would highly recommend.

Had a lovely lunch with friends. Cannot wait to go back. Prices were reasonable. Although very busy we were served very quickly by a lovely girl.

Came here today with my family. 4 adult meals and a kids plus drinks bill was only £42!!! Amazing food and great staff <3 11/10

Go here quite regularly, nice staff, decent food, good offers, the last time we were in we were sat at a table that was dirty from the last people, wasn't wiped. There were also two kids running around jumping on and off chairs while their parents just sat and watched, wasn't the best experience.

Been here couple of times now, person that served us was very polite, the foods no bad but having people hanging around near the food counter is not good for business, and staff standing with mobile at counter is not good.Old man next to me said oh this place doesnt have hot water and it should be reported , really not what i wanted to hear wile we were eating
