Food was tasty however weighing the slices from the carvery made my mum quite uncomfortable and when she started to eat her meal the meat was so sparsely cut that it was see through, I had the carvery salad which states to have 537kcal I would disagree given the same issue as mum the meat was incredibly thin therefore calorific value would have been less. Service, staff and atmosphere lovely but the food portioning …….. Disappointed to say the least

First time trying this restaurant, very busy as usual on a Sunday as their carvery is outstanding. Great value for money, staff very helpful and friendly. Prices very reasonable, especially considering 4 adults, starters , bottle of wine , and soft drinks.

Came on Sunday so we knew it would be busy however they managed to get us a table and we had the best time. Most delicious carvery we've been to in a while. Not a fan of other carveries having gimmicky side options. We'll definitely be back to Linwood Farm

Popped in for some lunch this Saturday, portions are very generous didn't have space for a pudding so decided to take one home. Great service...

Got the all day breakfast, bacon was full of fat, and it was cold, went to use the disable toilet, but couldn't use it asvit was disgusting and dirty. Spoke to a member of staff, then had to speak with another member of staff, but nothing was done about. Went to use the cutlery on the table, but they were also dirty, had to point it out to the staff,

I don't know what the atmosphere is, food is ok but it's very poor customer service, people are disorganised and disinformed they don't know what they doing it can be awful experience... I can understand when it's extremely busy but not when it's very much empty... Instead of taking me to the bar area where I could pay for my takeaway pack I heard just go over there they will sort you out. I went to the deck and yes question do you have a ticket? I had to go back to the bar to pay, then I was asked which size takeaway portion I want standard or large. I said large. Got a ticket for stardard when I realized that and confirmed that my choice was different I heard that there is only one size. Ok it doesn't make any sense to ask me what size I would like. Staff need some additional training as they create unnecessary confusion and why walking off to the bar area instead of finishing dealing with customer as there was no one else that she was dealing with? It's just doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Lady went behind the bar anyway but expected someone else to deal with it? Seriously? Today 01/10 I did give it another go. I went inside and I decided I'm gonna sit in and have a meal I waited for somebody to show me where I can sit and I did inform that I want to get some food from the deck. It didn't make any sense to sit just by the entrance to go all the way to the deck, there was plenty of spaces closer which I did point out and the table has been changed. Then as I was sitting in I did expect to pay after I finish the meal but no, had to go back to the bar to pay for it in advance, okay again I wanted food from the deck and again I have been asked for the size: small standard or large? I said apparently there is only one size? No there are three different sizes 🤦 Then I was asked if I will have Yorkshire aswell to my surprise so I said ues but I would think that's included? Yes it is. So what's the point asking me if I want Yorkshire when it's not on the ticket anyway you will be asked the same question when you gonna pick your food later🤦I got the ticket for the large this time and I went to the deck to my surprise there was no chicken there was no Turkey and no one mentioned that earlier whatsoever which would saved me all the hustle if I would know from the start. Since I cannot eat any other meat I decided to cancel it and I went to the bar for the refund. I was told that it would be easier to change the price if I would pick some other food I politely inform them that I'm not interested. For the refund you need to wait up to five working days. If only people would think a little bit it would make customers life so much easier... One of the most unreasonable places to have a meal. I never ever came across anything like that in my life. I don't think I will be back.

I got a delivery through just eat, food is appalling. Beef was 2 strips that you could break a window with, turkey was dry, the pigs in blankets that I paid extra for were solid and unedible. Parsnips burnt and the gravy had raw onions inside. Poor food for somewhere that I've eaten from more than a handful of times in the past. Wont be ordering or going again. 6th Sept 2024. I have been going there for year. My cousin has a disability and went to use the disabled toilets they were in a disgusting state we told two members of staff but nothing was done about it, I overheard another customer complain but still nothing. Makes you think if they can't keep the toilets clean what state is the kitchen in

Not happy, went to the local farm house inn at the phoenix paisley. The carvery and cake offer for £10 ,, the machine wasn't work. Blue card with 15% off also wouldn't load up on one because of poor wifi Now, I do not see why Greene king couldn't say to their restaurants, just charge voucher holder £5 for the carvery, and £5for the cake, or deduct the 15 percent blue light card either. I have no problems with the food, which was delicious, or the fantastic staff. Only problem was the discount system didn't work, this was Greene king offer, an advert sent to my email

Lunch with my neice and her son very busy but staff helpful.

Staff were very polite and happy to help even when very busy.

We brought the kids here to fill some time before a birthday party and we were delighted with the place! The kids had a blast in the indoor and outdoor play areas and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. I particularly enjoyed the bottomless coffee!

All the staff were very helpful, especially Thomas, well mannered and pleasant to talk too. Will recommend to all my family and friends.

The standards have dropped drastically, before the food was amazing but now after changing to farm house inn and changed to the new chefs there has been, burnt food, smaller portions, unhygienic servers sticky tables and more

This place should have a health warning! Having had a large carvery, I was taken aback by the size of the chocolate éclair that arrived!. At least a foot long and 5 or 6 inches diameter! I like, no love my food, but could only manage about a 1/4 of it. So happy to donate the rest to the excellent reception staff at the local P. INN who had endorsed this place after their kitchen wasn't open this evening. ENJOY!

One of your servers, Jaye was lovely. We had a brilliant conversation, he recommended us some great dessert options and was incredibly friendly. Great customer service although none of they're sundaes were available.

Always nice food and worth a visit

My meal did not come out complete. Staff happy to correct, and took the meal away to add the missing item but when it came back sadly it was cold. Jaye was super helpful and apologised by offering a free dessert, which was a great goodwill gesture. Hopefully next time we can leave a better review for food.

Just been in for some food good service from Sharon on bar and Thomas was very pleasant.

I’ve always been a huge fan, but a few weeks ago I ordered a takeaway and unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the experience. The meal didn't come with any gravy, the portion sizes were noticeably smaller and even the packaging had changed to a smaller, white foam container instead of the black plastic one I was used to get. It’s very frustrating paying a lot for a small dry kid size meal, really. I have always been a fan of your food, but this recent experience left me feeling that things have changed for the worse. It's really a shame.

I went for a meal with my family, placed our order and I got a dirty glass with lipstick on it. I returned to the bar area and noticed a lady on the floor and asked her for a replacement glass to which her response was go to the bar they will give you another glass by this time there were eight to ten people queuing to order. The man standing behind me told me he would not be back to which I agreed with him and told him I won’t be back either!!! I spotted another lady, explained the situation and she replaced it no problem. The staff were all very pleasant, polite and helpful except for the unhelpful madam. If this lady does not like working with the public she should not be working in hospitality the company will be losing business with her attitude!!!

Every little to say that's positive except that's it appears be exceptionally busy every day. The outside needs a refresh, the welcoming staff were not so, the beers and Guinness were so bad we didn't finish our drinks, the food (in my opinion) was Luke warn and tasteless. However it is very busy for it's lunch every day.

Breakfast buffet, today the eggs where like rubber, the square slice couldn't be cut and the black pudding is rock hard. Too bad if the food is prepared too early and is laying under heat lamps.

Had a lovely carvery for lunch and ordered one kids meal, food was lovely. Play areas are good for the kids and kept clean. Served by JAYE with the bright T-shirt! Nice guy, chatty and helpful.

A typical venue of it's type. Not great, not bad but, almost reasonable food almost reasonable service Then an over complicated menu difficult to get what was needed. Needs by staff and better communication.

Last minute mid week carvery. Super delicious and amazing portions of meat. Slight downside was the Yorkie, but everything else made up for it. Service was spectacular - Jaye particularly who took time out of his shift to have a conversation with us, can't remember the last time a server did this. Lovely person. Will continue to return.

Went in for a takeaway carvery for lunch and the service was amazing- Logan on the carvery was fantastic, and Lorna behind the bar was so bubbly and friendly, so easy to order what I wanted and their takeaway portion is a great size and well packaged to take away 😊

Absolutely amazing value for money! Can't recommend this place enough. We were booked in for 1pm & everything for the carvery, was just out fresh. The staff were really lovely too.

Good food, but why o why when I was getting a carvery was the gentleman cutting the cuts of meat have a set of scales and weighing out the meat he was giving me. Absolute ridiculous. And greene king should be ashamed

This place is particularly good if you have young children. Good indoor and outdoor areas, with no time limits. Staff are very helpful and courteous.

Place was lovely, tho a member of staff wasn't that nice of helpful, rather rude to be honest when we asked about moving tables as we had some children with us and they wanted to play, so asked for somewhere nearer to the play area to keep an eye on them as there was a lot of empty tables in that area and we had requested to be sat there originally when booking a table but anyway then asked another member of staff about the same situation she couldn't have been more helpful,l and friendly and moved us to a different table. Was here for a faimly meal lovely carvery bap meal and the unlimited hot chocolate was real good. Nice place to take faimly as plenty to keep small kids entertained. Chocolate fudge cake was big

Excellent service and food however roast potatoes were undercooked. Smaller roasties and they'd be perfectly cooked. Also ran out of cranberry sauce before 17:30.

I went for son birthday dinner I went waiting area then women manager came not sure her name with stinking attitude 😒 How many u are 5 Did u book table No but I tried call Oh well we are busy! Ok congratulations than how I suppose to book table than ! Well there is hour wait (Where restaurant on Thursday was dead.) I said ok I feel like that I was not welcome in restaurant because I am Asia Indian. Same time faimly behind me (white) Yes pal I get u table no problem have a seat ! Was very busy. Thankfully, we had booked a table. Standard menu and prices per similar establishments such as harvester or beefeater or Tobys.

Was in today and great visit all round! Carvery was delicious, was a wait of around 30 minutes on the door however was seated in 20 so no complaints here. Staff welcoming and friendly, we'll definitely be back!

Great atmosphere, however very busy (glad we booked in advance!) Despite how busy it was, we were well taken care of, and after our meals decided to enjoy some cake in the beer garden in the sun. Fantastic place for the family.

A lot bigger than I thought it would be. Lots of choice. They have an area for cakes and ice cream and what looks like a carvery running throughout the day or you can order from the menu. You order yourself at the bar which is a bit awkward because it's also the thoroughfare into the rest of the restaurant so you can't really queue because people are trying to get past you but the food was nice and the staff were friendly so cannot complain at all.

Excellent, went for Sunday lunch, beef, chicken and gammon, roast potatoes lots of different veg and of course yourkshire puds, they also have a cake stall, cakes looked amazing standing at least 8 inches tall, chocolate éclairs where approximately 12 inches long and approximately 4/5 inches high, they did a "cakeaway" box which of course we did, 2 slices of cake and 1 chocolate éclair. Will definitely be back for more 😁😁

Great choice of veg on the carvery with 3 different selections of meat.... and the best part a huge Yorkshire pudding, the cake are incredible and staff attentive and welcoming, great atmosphere on top of it. 10/10..

Beautiful carvery and good prices

Both carvery items that included the cake were missing the chocolate fudge cake and by the time we had ate our meals and went to get dessert thats when i noticed the chocolate cakes missing..no way of contacting to rectify and have to submit a review

Great place to eat with kids, good little play area indoor and out. Decent food and delicious cakes too. Staff always lovely, one guy (tall, cheque shirt, beard, didn’t catch name sorry), always so cheery and helpful everytime we go.

Macaroni disgusting carvery cold

We had one of the best experiences we could have wished for. The was all great. The cake was amazing. We had a lady assisting in our seating area I think her name was Lauren she went above and beyond to help us. Her interaction with our kids most of who have ASN needs was second to none. She managed to read situations and avoid melt downs galore we literally had none. The kids loved play area and all ate their dinner which is un heard of. All staff deserve recognition but especially Lauren. Would highly recommend.
