Everything was perfect and delicious 😍😍😍

Going down hill rapidly! Arrived and it was reasonably busy for a weekday evening. Took 5 minutes to sit me down. Didn't tell me anything other than I could order at the bar. Ordered a Carvery and it took 15 minutes to deliver my empty glass and carvery tickets. Went up to the carvery and all that was left was Turkey. Took the turkey and got 2 cold pigs in blankets and a miserable yorkie. The veg looked like it had been sitting for a while and when I started eating was evident it was pretty cold. Very, very dissapointing. Thought I might get a slice of cake but not at £6 a slice I'm not. Looking at the recent reviews, looks like I'm not the only one dissapointed.

Booked a table for a large family gathering of 19 people, staff were very friendly and welcoming. Food was lovely as always there was no complaints at the table and every one had a fab time. Ordered another round of drinks and while sitting chatting enjoying our drinks we were abruptly told that we needed to leave as they needed the tables we had 10 minutes, this was not mentioned at the time of booking and not once were we told we only had the tables for a certain period of time. I don’t appreciate a member of staff approaching in that manner and speaking to us the way she did we spent almost £500 at the tables possibly more ended up having to have desert to go as there was no opportunity to sit and have it, maybe it would be better to let people know the limited time they have at tables instead of embarrassing people and speaking to them as though they are a nuisance instead of paying customers !!

Not up to usual standard. Staff friendly on arrival. Food ordered by great service from Ross who was very welcoming and great manner. Once sat down and food came, Only half the starters arrived so had to find staff to chase up the other half. When the mains came one meal came with bits to it missing. A steak ordered medium but came practically still mooing. Macaroni that came stone cold so had to ask for a new one. But by the time the new one turned up everyone at the table was done. Not the most enjoyable experience considering we spent close to £100 there tonight on food. Top it off as we was leaving we saw a Henry hoover (blue one I may add) being used to hoover up on the hot plate where all the left over carvery bits of meat had all flake off onto the surface which just seems very unhygienic to use a hoover to clean where food is placed ?especially when it’s bits of meat? Don’t think we’ll be back which is a shame.

The service I received on Sunday from the boy razzy was second to none... Everything was perfectly timed and he made the effort to interact with us and ask how our day was, 5* service, we'll be back 😁

Went here a week ago. And food was very nice . However went last night. The food was awful and cold. I could have soled my boots with it. Ordered and paid for a roast beef carvery to take away. I watched the chef box it. However when we got home. The large plate I paid for was actually someone else's left over food in a box. They never asked me what the order was or did the girl check it. I'm totally disgusted. They seemed more interested in cleaning up than anything else. It was to out some underdesk heater and slapped on the counter. I have been calling now for over 2 hrs. And nobody answers the phone. No point in having one then. I will never go back here again. But my aunt may have left her phone and as nobody answers the phone I will have to drive all the way back over. I live in thornliebank so it's a trek plus time. Again. Thought we has found a diamond here but it's actually a piece of glass. Avoid

I left feeling not only satisfied but genuinely grateful for the experience. It’s safe to say I’ll be coming back because of the outstanding service provided by Razzy. I recently visited Linwood Farms and had an exceptional experience. The service was great from start to finish, with staff members going above and beyond to ensure we had a fun and enjoyable time in the restaurant. In particular, Razzy stood out with his friendly demeanour and attentive service, really helping me and my family understand the menu and what the place had to offer. All in all would definitely return due to such an enjoyable visit!

Had a fantastic visit to Linwood Farm - Farmhouse Inns! The food was delicious, with generous portions and great value for money. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing meal and we appreciated Bep's efforts, who was a wonderful host—friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right despite being picky eaters. It helped that our energies matched so they were able to give us some ideas of where to go after our meal for some music!

Popped in for some lunch this Saturday, portions are very generous didn't have space for a pudding so decided to take one home. Great service..

I've ordered from here many times and I've always enjoyed it, but tonight was awful, 3 tiny pieces of meat that at least half of each bit was fat and gristle, the vegetables were awful, there was something resembling broccoli that had suffered a worse fate than death, and the big pile of something that was meant to be cabbage, ugh, over cooked an sloppy, 2 hard roast potatoes it was beyond awful the only saving grace was the bit of carrot cake even though it had dried out on the surface

Absolutely outstanding service from Becca and the staff at the farmhouse, food was brilliant as usual and can’t wait to be back.

Carvery was fantastic today! It seemed very busy this afternoon, but nothing was too much for the team I interacted with, all helped us with a smile on their faces! Carvery chefs were great too! My husband had the combo feast and it was brilliant ! We will be back soon, and this time we’re taking cake home, I can’t stop thinking about that cake display! YUM!

stone cold 3 meat roast dinner the veggies must have been lying total mush yorkies like plasticine delivery time kept getting pushed back it's not a weekend very poor meal

Was in for breakfast this Friday morning. Buffet was lovely, great selection available and all piping.

Good place. Lower stars because they are chronically unable to answer the phone.

First time coming and to be honest wasn’t best food and service bad they told us certain vegetables and stuff had run out on carvery so ordered steak and macaroni off menu instead when it came the plate was warm but food really cold girl who served from kitchen didn’t ask who’s food was who just placed them on table and walked off service terrible. I had to go say to another girl who did replace it but waited about an hour when it came was warmer but not best food I have tasted not once did staff asked how everything was and no apology will definitely not be returning unless food and service is improved .

The vegetables were all rotten as we came later so all rotten and dry

Popped in for a quick lunch during my working day. Carvery was fantastic , all food was fresh , warm & tasty. Portions of meat were great & veg selection was fab. Staff were so helpful, kind & courteous. James & Tam gave me a wee giggle in the middle of a rubbish Monday.

Came on a Sunday afternoon for a carvery. Unfortunately we had to order from the menu because the carvery meats weren’t ready in time for lunch service beginning. The food we did have was fine, just not what we’d booked for and hoped for. Quick service once ordered though and the kids love the play areas.

We went here as a family of 14 with my disabled son who is wheelchair user he doesn’t get to much places and enjoys going here as a family we had 2 extra people with us in whom we asked if there was room for they said no so 2 family members had to leave the party in which they told us at the start was only booked for 12 the place we sat as there was 4 empty tables and the women at the desk was shocking manner she needs to get told how to treat people and the customers are always correct so if she doesn’t like her job or having a bad day don’t take it out on the members of the public who are paying there way.

Table 57...2 standard carverys , glass rose and a pint bell haven... perfect. Veg nice and fresh and the meat just melted in your mouth. Staff very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend and definitely will be back.

What i witnessed yesterday was shocking customer service to a family couldnt believe how the lady spoken towards a family with a boy in a wheelchair im disgusted.

Carvery was heavy disappointing . The meat apart from the turkey was full of fat and hard to eat . Potatoes were Rock solid . Looked like it was the left overs that I got . Most of it was binned .

Was in with friends for dinner last night was a pleasant experience was taken care of by Claire she was very polite which made the visit all the more better will be visiting again Thank you Claire.

7pm on a Saturday evening and they had ran out of most dishes. It was 1st Feb so maybe had a rush because of monthly paid people having their first wage after Christmas but still very disappointing.

Drive past all the time, gave it 5 stars coz I've never had a bad meal there, in fact I've never had a meal there but it's nice to be nice
