The vegetables were all rotten as we came later so all rotten and dry

Not a good experience food on menu not a lot of choice and was just thrown together on menu, staff were non-existent and atmosphere felt unfrendly will not be back 😑

Our server was Sharon she was lovely and sweet she was bring our food and desserts super fast she was making sure our food and deserts were on point and making sure we were okay the whole time overall this was amazing and definitely will be coming back for more of the good food thanks for squeezing us in

Quickly seated, food came quick, lively meal and family were all happy. Amount of food was good for the money🙂

The carvery was awful, dried out veg and rock solid potatoes. Mid afternoon visit so not sure as to why the quality was so poor. Lumpy gravy too

Popped in for a quick lunch during my working day. Carvery was fantastic , all food was fresh , warm & tasty. Portions of meat were great & veg selection was fab. Staff were so helpful, kind & courteous. James & Tam gave me a wee giggle in the middle of a rubbish Monday.

Came on a Sunday afternoon for a carvery. Unfortunately we had to order from the menu because the carvery meats weren’t ready in time for lunch service beginning. The food we did have was fine, just not what we’d booked for and hoped for. Quick service once ordered though and the kids love the play areas.

Great food and excellent service. I saw staff deal with a rude customer from a big group exceptionally well. Its a shame to see people treat hospitality workers with such little respect, thinking they can do whatever they want! I thought staff were brilliant and the food was great! I left full and happy, will definitely be back.

Table 57...2 standard carverys , glass rose and a pint bell haven... perfect. Veg nice and fresh and the meat just melted in your mouth. Staff very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend and definitely will be back.

What i witnessed yesterday was shocking customer service to a family couldnt believe how the lady spoken towards a family with a boy in a wheelchair im disgusted.

We went here as a family of 14 with my disabled son who is wheelchair user he doesn’t get to much places and enjoys going here as a family we had 2 extra people with us in whom we asked if there was room for they said no so 2 family members had to leave the party in which they told us at the start was only booked for 12 the place we sat as there was 4 empty tables and the women at the desk was shocking manner she needs to get told how to treat people and the customers are always correct so if she doesn’t like her job or having a bad day don’t take it out on the members of the public who are paying there way.

Was in with friends for dinner last night was a pleasant experience was taken care of by Claire she was very polite which made the visit all the more better will be visiting again Thank you Claire.

She was very accommodating and understanding as I struggle with talking to new people. She let me take my time and be comfortable talking to her. 7pm on a Saturday evening and they had ran out of most dishes. It was 1st Feb so maybe had a rush because of monthly paid people having their first wage after Christmas but still very disappointing.

Drive past all the time, gave it 5 stars coz I've never had a bad meal there, in fact I've never had a meal there but it's nice to be nice

Was in for a lovely family meal, food was so good! Staff very friendly, special mention to waiting staff Lauren who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed!

Went in for some lunch with my boyfriend before going to see a movie at showcase. Very welcoming staff, especially the women with the calico hair, I think she said her name was Lauren. She recommended the loaded chicken and it was delicious! Girl knows her stuff. Loads of free parking so no worries about having to run out and pay for a longer stay.

Had a brilliant time here with my husband and my 15 kids. Our server was Lauren she was lovely. She was welcoming and knew all about the menu :) The place has good parking.

We always come as a treat on the way to the cinema, we drive 40 miles for this. Love how welcoming the staff are, it's a really easy atmosphere. Fantastic value for money, the food is always really hot, such great value for the money. Lots of variety to choose from, and the deals are great.

Two of my part opted for the carvery meat was more fat than meat place was very cold. I know weather not good but this affects the experience if you are sitting cold

Came for evening carvery, was surprised to be informed there was no turkey or ham. Ordered from main menu instead, chips arrived cold, informed staff who said they'd replace, but our meals were finished by the time I had to remind them (they'd forgotten). Pretty poor experience, usually its ok but would think twice before coming back.

First time visit, will be our last. Queueing up at the bar to order food in a restaurant feels alien to me, especially when the queue moves so slowly. We had a children’s portion arrive when we ordered an adult portion, the meat on the carvery was sliced incredibly thin and barely worth having, despite ordering the £14.99 “large” carvery, the Yorkshire puddings were floppy and tasteless, the beef was chewy and poor quality, the beer tasted off, I could keep going for a while with this complaint but I won’t, I’m sure you get the picture by now. All in, I’d advise you to try elsewhere, this wasn’t an enjoyable experience, particularly for the relatively high price.

Had the carvery at the weekend, loved it, the gammon was amazing and there was such a variety of sides! Would recommend for families, it would be a great opportunity for your kids to try all kinds of veg!

We didn't have a very good experience the first time we visited, however, that was a while ago and so we decided to give it another try. Food was horrible! I had to send my dish back because it was cold, I approached a member of staff, who was very helpful and got me another meal, but unfortunately it was horrid! 3 meals wasted. Definitely won't be back.

No food arrived despite the app stating it had been delivered. Attempted to contact the restaurant three times but no answer. Unable to raise with JustEat other than to raise a refund request which will not be responded to for two days. Abysmal.

Had a lovely carvery, meat delicious and plenty of veg for myself, who had the veggie 😋 3 adults and 1 child who could play where we could sit n talk while watch him play . Only downside a lot of desserts 🍨 we chose had run out.

Food is getting worse stuffing was rock solid, why put out so much. Cranberry all over counter , meat dry, only come here because my grandaughters like the play area.

We ordered through the app, so knew our food order had been entered correctly. We had selected for starters to come out with mains, however these came out first and then we waited 40 minutes for mains to come out, which is quite long when the restaurant wasn’t overly busy. One meal came out wrong and another had to be returned as the chicken in the tikka masala was rock solid.

I found out that you could get a take away carvery so I used their app to order and collected it along with dessert and enjoyed my meal at home and it was delicious.

Went with family for a meal before going to the theatre in glasgow. We all enjoyed our meal especially the desserts.

Went in with family for a carvery, staff were friendly and helpful, seating was nice. The only thing that let it down is the plate is out on scales and the meat is weighed before they put it in the plate. They advise also to fill your plate with potatoes and veg as you are not allowed a second visit. Beef was a little dry and I was let down by the fact I don't like turkey and ham but was offered no alternative for example an extra slice of beef, once you hit that beef weight limit that's you done regardless of if you have other meat or not. By this point we just didn't bother with deserts but had a look at the cake counter to find it's all cardboard display cakes so chances are they are frozen. The whole thing felt like an exercise in cost cutting hence why I subtracted stars.

And the lovely lady Donna who works in the cake department is very good and friendly. 😊 Update 2024 We enjoyed our day it was the special Christmas one, Turkey & tinsel, there was 11 of us in total. 3 carers and 8 elderly care home resident's, we all enjoyed our 2 course carvery and the bingo . Very good day, had by all. And a bonus I won a single line at the bingo

Bought the exact same burger last night which was amazing…ordered again tonight & it was rotten…didn’t receive my cranberry or coleslaw & the chips are cold & somehow wet!!!! Ridiculous !!!

Booked here for breakfast with Santa.I made a bit of blunder and accidentally booked the farmhouse inn in Leicester and didn’t realise until we arrived. They were quick to help and get a table ready for us. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and made it a very pleasant experience
