Queued for about 10 minutes in a long queue to get a couple of ice creams - finally got to the counter and the server started serving people behind us in the queue, I thought fair enough they must've just done this by accident but after waiting for them to serve the customer behind us they completely ignored us again and served another customer behind us in the queue. Felt invisible, shocking service, we walked out and won't be returning

Friendly, efficient service and really well cooked pub food. A good traditional pub. We liked it so much we ate here twice in one weekend. Scampi and chips were excellent. Dog friendly bar (bowl of water appreciated after being on the beach), cosy seats next to the fire.

We were down in Glasgow for a night and in search of a reasonably priced alternative to our hotel's breakfast offering, and we certainly found it here. My wife and I had cooked breakfasts with toast and tea and coffee. Everything was well made, piping hot and tasted delicious. Service was fast and friendly and the cafe was clean and well maintained throughout. We could not have eaten better in Glasgow for the price if we tried! Overall an excellent experience, we will definitely return next time we're in town.

nice spot in town centre for a quick bite to eat and lovely coffee. i got the vegan toastie which was served with coleslaw and it wasn’t until i asked if it was vegan that i learned it wasn’t vegan. ideally i would be told this when i was ordering so i could ask to not have it, so just a heads up for anyone with a dairy allergy make sure to say !

We visited the pub for food and drinks. We stopped in on our canoeing trip. A group of six adults, four children. We were cold, wet and tired. Tommy and Janine gave us the warmest welcome and were so accommodating of our many questions and requests. The fish and chips cooked up by the chef were crispy and excellent. Highly recommend!

Visited here on a Saturday afternoon. I was really surprised nobody else was in the resteraunt. Service was okay, did nothing wrong but didn't really go out of their way. Food was pretty good but a little overpriced. It was an okay visit, however three stars is probably an accurate review

Fab filled rolls and homemade cakes. Sausages, bacon, etc. all sourced from local butcher, which is a huge plus in my book.

Turned up at 22:02 only to be refused my room as I couldn’t check in after 2200, even though I had highlighted that my check in will be between 22-2300. Was spoken to on the phone by someone, who refused to give me their name, only to be repeatedly told I was too late, after driving nearly 3hrs, to check in. Absolutely disgusting service!!

What a venue !! Charming with a historical room to be seen to be believed (clipper room) ! I cannot say enough about the owners and staff who made me feel welcomed and could not do enough ! I was there for a music gig with friends and the music room venue was brilliant , atmospheric and intimate ! The hotel is in a lovely location with historical sites , coastal walks and a golf course nearby.
