Great wee find in Glasgow City centre. Food was really good and exceptional value for money. We didn't reserve a table,next time we will. Didn't have to wait too long to get a table. Definitely will be visiting again

Gross...rude staff..inappropriate language..there's a time and place for staff cursing ..certainly not whilst talking to other staff members over the bar..unpleasant atmosphere..food..seemed to be generic..probably frozen for the majority of dishes I saw..bland ..unappetising..would never go back even if was free!..

Good atmosphere, no seats as everything was booked, asked to move multiple times.

This is a real gem of a pub. My friend and I went for lunch and were not disappointed . Good holesome made food and the staff were just lovely. We could not believe how reasonable the prices were. We will definately be back and We would say try it.

Popped in on way by , we got ourselves seated had to ask for menu, ordered our lunch, steak pie for myself, chicken tenders for my wife, both of us were more than satisfied with our meals.

Food is really good. Decided to stay on for Saturday night karaoke. It was abundantly clear the presenter is catering only to the local clientele. Quite a cliquish pub at night. But during the day good and staff are fab.

Hi always come here when staying in Glasgow for a few nights, my husband & I were here on Thursday night for some lovely food, drinks & bottle of wine, everything was good until the bar maids changed @ 6.00pm, the girl that came on with long hair & glasses I’m sure you know who you employ & who she is well her language is disgusting, she was talking with the guys standing @ the bar & swearing loudly, I am not a prude but don’t expect to hear this while having a quiet drink, there was another couple there as well so we weren’t the only ones to put up this behaviour, I’m sure if it was me that speaking like that then I would be told off, I’m glad I paid my bill before the other staff left as I certainly wouldn’t be leaving her any tip apart from wash your mouth out with soap!!!!

Best time in Glasgow ever. Saturday night karaoke was the best . Most diverse, friendly,and fun pub we’ve been to in Glasgow. Beer prices were very reasonable.

Friendly bar with excellent beer and great steak pie. Mags was a great host. A bit surreal on the day we visited as the local area was restricted because it was being set up for filming of Batwoman or so we were told. Lots of cranes, vehicles and road closures.

Place was spotless gents toilets clean. The meal that both my wife and myself was 2 course at £7.50 excellent would recommend it to anynone.

Excellent wee place for some grub and very nice bar staff, the cost of a pint is a bit pricey at 3.95 but great food prices and cooked fresh.

We stumbled across this pub by accident, we went in and the lad behind the bar with a mask on checked us in, he lead us to a table and took our drink orders, the 2 pints of Hophouse 13 were perfect! we ordered a further 2 drinks no hassle at all, the barman was really friendly with us, It is probably one of the cleanest pubs I've ever been in, the toilets were gleaming, next time we visit Glasgow we'll be heading straight back to here :-)

This pub is an absolute gem in the centre of the city. A very friendly welcoming atmosphere. Great staff always ready with a smile and a chat. The food is absolutely fantastic with a steak pie to die for. Definitely a place not to be missed

La comida tenía un precio razonable. abundante. y sabrosa. la camarera también fue muy amable, al igual que la encantadora pareja de ancianos sentados a nuestro lado que eran clientes habituales, volvimos más tarde para pasar un rato en la noche de karaoke, que también era amable y entretenida lo recomendaría.

Nos detuvimos aquí para cenar. El personal fue excelente. Cabe destacar que la cocina se cierra a las 7 pm. Oh bueno, logramos ordenar. Pintas y G&T fueron buenos! La comida fue excelente. Teníamos la tarta de carne y el pescado y las patatas fritas. 35 GBPEl precio era razonable para la comida.Definitivamente lo recomiendo (a excepción de la mesa de las mujeres gritando, ¡Dios, eran ruidosas jaja!)

Gran pub, bebidas encantadoras, buen precio. Entro aquí con mi tía. La comida es tan deliciosa? y a muy buen precio. Buena comida pasada de moda. Me encanta el pastel de carne y puré. Es un antiguo pub tradicional y el personal es encantador. Especialmente la mujer con el cabello oscuro que siempre sirve en el suelo.Mi única queja es que es un pub frío, ¡ponte un cardi! ! Jajaja

The Blane Valley was the first eatery we came across during our stay in Glasgow, and it offers quite decent pub food at good prices. It gets quite crowded in the evenings, so better go and have your dinner there early!

Lage vom Blane Valley sehr zentral gelegen. Das Pubfood war in Ordnung und die Pints waren ordentlich kühl. Alles in allem ein sehr solider gemütlicher Pub.

I found service really good the food was good and a good price I can't fault the evening we enjoyed a couple of drinks after the evening can't be faulted ten out of ten

My partner and I along with our St. Bernard dog grabbed a seat outside in the sunshine and my partner went inside to get our drinks. A few minutes later a blonde middle aged woman staff member came out and rudely and loudly told me dogs not allowed. I advised that we had just bought a drink. I was told to drink up then leave. No signs outside saying dogs not allowed inn outdoor seating area. Thanks for embarrassing me in front of everyone. Because of her rudeness we won’t be back.

Service was rude on entering and throughout the visit. lemonade flat, steak pie cold and a hair found in my burger. not even an apology for this. waiter came across and said in abrupt manner what's wrong now. absolute joke. will not be back.

My husband & I had the 2 meals for £10 yesterday & it was great value for money, since it was so cheap we treated ourselves to a bottle of wine as well, great place, clean, busy & nice staff.

We had been here before and enjoyed the ambiance but this visit was different. Very loud music. We were meeting friends but had to move on because of the noise. Very disappointing.

We had been told about this pub by friends who said Saturday nights were the best as it was karaoke and god were they right

A group of us have been meeting for 20 or so years at The Horseshoe Bar Karaoke on a Saturday night. The DJ there left after many years and we have been looking for another venue as all of us are keen singers. One couple had been going to The Blane Valley recently and suggested we pop along, we had been many times over the years and had enjoyed it. There was 7 of us later to be 9. My wife, daughter and I arrived around 6.30 to be sure of a seat and a meal. All is good, its not the cheapest of places £6 for a double vodka, £1.75 can of coke, there is a good vibe and staff were spot on. The Karaoke starts at 8.30, my friend sang first, I was second and like many others we put up a second song as we were there all night. Around 10.30 several of the second singers had been up, as I had been one of the first singers I wondered why I hadn't had my chance, I went up to politely ask the DJ "Kevin" if I was up soon as many others who were after me had been on before me. He was instantly aggressive and did his best to humiliate me in front of others sitting in front of him. He ranted "oh you want to tell me when you are singing, you are on the list so go and sit down" I replied "no I don't want to tell you when I am singing, I just want to get my turn in a fair chronological order" he said "that is not how it works in here". In other words we DON'T do thing fairly. Come on guys why can't you shout the names out in the order you get them in, it is only fair. I had spent £140, my friends must have spent a similar amount and we won't be back as long as this guy runs things. Well done "KEVIN" you have lost your employers around £500 per week, maybe more if others read this! MANAGEMENT, please understand this guy is NOT an asset to your business, he is the opposite. AN egotist who thinks its ok for him to sing six songs while others pay and wait, are treated unfairly and spoken down to. .

Warm and friendly place to have a drink in Glasgow. With a great feel about it and family friendly, as a woman it was a safe and welcoming place to sit and relax.

My partner and I decided to stop in for a meal. Staff were very friendly and courteous. We ordered the Haggis fritter starter with whiskey sauce, One each is definitely enough for a starter, absolutely delicious.

I was taken here by a friend and we had good home cooking and a pleasant place to sit and chat. There was a regular stream of customers even in mid-afternoon. Well worth the money.

Visité la otra noche con amigos, muy ocupados como siempre, y por primera vez decidí comer aquí. Los otros tres dijeron que su comida estaba bien. My Mince y Tatties solo se pueden describir como muy suaves, 4 a 5 papas pequeñas, 1/3 plato de guisantes congelados y carne muy pálida sin sabor real. Tuvimos Mince N Tatties en otro establecimiento en diciembre, un delicioso sabor completo con un huevo escalfado en la parte superior, los costos fueron un poco más, pero bien valió la pena el dinero extra.

Yo estaba en Glasgow para una instalacion de kilt un Sábado y almuerzo había sido reservado aquí. Había 9 de nosotros y todos tenían comida. Yo diría que la elección es "estándar" para un menú de pub, aunque también tengo que decir que esta es la mejor comida que he probado en mucho tiempo. Hacen un menú de dos platos por £6. 95 que incluye un entrante y plato principal. Elegí la sopa y era muy buena y su "famosa torta de carne" estuvo a la altura de su nombre - excelente. Una gran relación calidad-precio! !

A must for tasty, inexpensive food. Blane Valley is a friendly pub / restaurant which is well worth a visit next time you are in town. The steak pie is delicious and a firm favourite of mine. The staff are friendly and attentive and add to the ambiance.

We decided to go for a pub, rather than our usual restaurant, lunch this afternoon and we certainly weren't disappointed!

I used to visit the pub regularly when I was a member of a club upstairs and returned with a friend for a couple of drinks. We decided to have a meal which we both enjoyed. There is a wide and varied range of meals available with some daily specials. I will return.

Tuvimos torta de carne aquí para el almuerzo con verduras frescas y una variedad de patatas, lo cual es bueno ya que muchos sitios sirven patatas fritas con todo. El bebé y el puré de patatas eran deliciosos, como el pastel de carne, que tenía un montón de carne tierna.
