Super cozy pub, definitely recommended...

This was our second time in this bar and this was a terrible visit,the bar staff couldn't be less interested if they tried. The 2 of them were too busy discussing other customers rather than talk to existing patrons. I made a point of saying thank you to our server and was blanked. 1 of the worst customer service experiences I've had in my 10 years of living in Scotland

Went here for lunch and got the poutine which was amazing. The portions were big and prices were fair. The service was also great, my niece’s mussels came out a bit late so they gave her some extra. Will definitely go back.

Was here on Sunday for a friends Hen doo. Amazing music and atmosphere. Drinks had already been flowing and I had misplaced my bag ! Very drunk distraught me, my friends (and even 2 random blokes ) helped to search everywhere. Once the singer stopped, Miguel put the lights up and he had found my bag and jacket on the opposite end of the bar - phew ! Tipsy me had obviously walked in, loved the music and started busting a move. But never picked it up and just walked over to my friends forgetting it ! Miguel, thank you. You have the patience of a saint. I don't know how you deal with us drunken folk ! Best night ever was had, and can highly recommend here for thee best staff and atmosphere.

This place gets really full, really fast! The busy-ness of this place is a testament to how good it is. Is it cheap? No, but will you have a craic-ing time? Absolutely

Great Irish pub with really good live music the Saturday we came by. The prices for the drinks were really fine, so a 100 percent recommendation

Found this wee pub up Ashton lane surprised it was open as other locals don’t seem to open till 12. Had a couple of lovely g&ts nice wee booth to relax in listening to some good 60s music playing in background. Was quiet before lunchtime but can imagine it being very popular in the evenings. We’ll know where to come next time around Byres road at opening tmes.

Jinty's is always on my list of regular visits and I very often go and enjoy a wee drink at the weekend there. Special shout out to Miguel who is there every single time and always super hospitable. Real passion for what he does. I was also there for one of Hannah's first shifts and she was so lovely too! Both credits to the team :)

Great live music. But, they let too many people in, so the sardine crampedness and trouble getting served kinda ruins it at weekend peak times.

Social and Exciting during weekends and festivals.

What a sad state of affairs it is when you go into Jinty’s on a very quiet Thursday afternoon and your Guinness is presented to you in under 30 seconds after ordering. That sort of stuff is semi acceptable during the rugby etc and even at that still not. So poor. And the result was less head than a tooth pick Victoria Beckham. Should never be able to walk across the road and get a better pint of the black stuff in the chip, but did. Staff very nice though and good music which is always a boon!

As bartender said best guiness, yes it was ! Amazing ambience, bartenders.

Great bar and atmosphere. Small but perfectly formed. Staff excellent and very helpful. Brilliant seating area round the back which I understand is having a full revamp in June. Beers are great with the best Guiness I've tasted outside of Ireland. Entertainment on most evenings and reall friendly people all around. Excellent.

Popped in here for a drink while passing through Ashton Lane. Drink was good. Big beer garden out the back. Some of the outdoor seating has a roof over it.

What a fantastisc pub in a excellent location! We have been enjoying Glasgow Westend for 5 days and on one the last days the sun came up! Ashton Lane is a very nice small cosy street full of pubs and restaurants. We recommondate this one! We really enjoyed our beers in the sun and the staff was very friendly.

Great pub and fantastic Guinness at a good price. Only downside is cash only which isn't ideal when most people use their phones to pay nowadays and don't have a card to take out cash. Please get a card machine!

Great wee irish bar located off the beating track. Its so and comfortable. Vibe in the place is really sweet. The bar staff are so down to earth

Fantastic little pub. But it is tiny. Its in a nice part of town really good pint of Guinness and live music was great. I did find it very warm due to the size body heat but it would never put me off. Bit far away form other Irish Bars so if your in the west it is the place to go. It actually feels like Irish people own or run it

Nice place, more a man's bar. I did like this place. needs to get on the cocktail 🍸 to get ladies in. Women spend a lot on these products, and not everyone likes Guinness

My absolute favourite pub in Glasgow!! Always an amazing night at the best live music bar in the lane. It's a tiny pub with a big heart. The staff, atmosphere and singers are all amazing, and it's never a dull night any day of week. They also pour the best pint of Guinness and have an amazing beer garden to enjoy on a sunny day. Can't wait to visit again soon =)

Awful experience. This pub should be reviewed under health and safety, extremely overcrowded and dangerous at night time! Definitely will not be returung. Little regards for safety. Clearly when your partner has to scream and push (people either refuse to listen, stuck or cannot hear) others so we can actually escape this overcrowded venue, something is seriously wrong. Took us almost 6 minutes to get to the main door when attempting to leaving. Never ever again. Hardly a great experience for anyone get barged into left, right and centre with drinks spilled onto you.

I really enjoyed my recent visit to Jintys McGintys. My partner said it was the best Guinness in the WestEnd, and the staff were very attentive. I felt at home as an Irish tourist. I can’t wait to return soon!

I’ve been performing here for almost 14 years and I cannot recommend this place enough! A cozy atmosphere in a perfect location with some of the best in live music every night of the week, as well as the friendliest staff! 5 stars all round!

Saturday evening good times for drinks and jumpin' acoustic live music

A definite must for apres dinner and maybe last call. Great staff, fun crowd, great musician. Sat solo at table and had blast.

Love stopping by Irish pubs and this one doesn't disappoint! I got a wonderful Guinness where they printed on a picture on the head of the Guinness which was really cool. The pub is small and cosy and I will definitely be back!

Visited on a Friday night, good atmosphere, female solo singer was entertaining, beer decent too. I was with my son and daughter, whilst she was at the toilet my son thought it would be funny to fill her handbag with beermats which were square and mainly black in colour. Daughter realised and lifted the beer mats out of her bag in one well swoop and left them on a shelf where we stood. What she didn't realise at the time was that her brand new passport was amongst the beer mats. Saturday afternoon in a blind panic retracing our steps from the night before we returned to the bar. To massive relief, Emily behind the bar had kept the passport safe after Jack had found the passport within the beer mats when he was tidying up. So to the owner " Not only do you have a good bar, you have trustworthy, reliable staff Emily and Jack who are canny people". My daughter flew to Poland yesterday so thank you Emily and Jack

Great night made better with some amazing live music from Maria McAveety. So much energy and great tunes that she got the whole bar dancing and singing. Beer, music and dancing! What more do you need. 😀 Worth noting that the bar is cash only for some reason which is the only downside.

Excellent atmosphere and friendly staff.

This pub was awful, the staff wouldn’t serve people with an English accent and were particularly hostile. The glasses were dirty with multiple left around the pub. Would not recommend. The pint of tenants I purchased was watered down (mentioned by staff at the bar) and at the extortionate price of £5. I’ve been to many an Irish pub in my time and this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. Absolute shambles.

Was out for a walk around Kelvingrove Park and Dumbarton Road, then up Byers Road . Was a lovely sunny day and thought we would stop in at JintyMcgintys in Ashton Lane. Got our drinks and headed into the beer garden. Drinks were ok, if a bit on the expensive side, the entertainment of mice was interesting. Left quickly.

2 days in Glasglow = 2 visits = let's say a couple of Guiness 😁. Totally authentic Irish Pub, familiar ambient. Just wonderful. Thanks to the staff to make us feel that we are with friends.

A wee stop off on a dreary Saturday afternoon. Pub located on Ashton Lane, staggering distance from Hillhead underground. £4.30 pint of tennent's lager. Worth a visit.

Popped in for a coupla Guinness after an afternoon in "THE CHIP" over the road. Great pint of the black stuff. Used to come "up the lane" all the time. Nice to see everything open again.....

i visited last night at 6 pm with friends for drinks. Paid in cash for our first round and were told by the bouncer that we were too noisy and must quieten down!!!!!! total liberty taken. drinks were swiftly finished and we left. I won't ever be back. The atmosphere was rotten anyway. The bar manager said he was told by his boss to have the bouncer speak to us. I'm a mum of 3 out for drinks, total My friends and I are clearly not young enough for the Friday night west end scene. pathetic! 😡

It's a fake Irish pub in Scotland, for christ's sake! Go to any of the great, Scottish pubs in the West End for an authentic experience. 🙄

Good to see it back open again. Just the same as before really. Friendly bar staff and not as dear as the rest of Ashton Lane. Fairly weird having no cash machine, but no big deal. Fairly good Guinness as well.

Popped in here after Oran Mor, Play Pie Pint, for drinks. Cash only which was ok and bought bottle Sauvignon Blanc Marborough for decent price of £24.99, which is usually more expensive in other bars? Pub with wee "dookits" to sit in but we went outside and sat on the benches, which is not the most comfortable, though there was more seating up the garden a bit but too slopey to get up. Great wee pub and glad went in, would go back again. Very friendly bar staff.

Was in the other day and had a cracking pint. Decent tunes although a very eclectic mix, with a nice relaxed atmosphere.

Called in to you're pub with my daughter chloe we came up to watch celtic play Sunday we are from Wolverhampton the food was brilliant the staff were very friendly and polite keep up the good work you all do will be coming back to watch celtic play from kev and chloe xxx

Cracking pint and nice beer garden out the back!

On their website they clearly state, that Irish traditional music is from 3pm to 5pm on a Sunday. We paid nearly 20 quid to get to this pub as we live a fair bit out. We got there and the staff told us that the music was not on until 9.30pm. This is complete false advertisement according to the website and I believe that this should be refunded for the hassle. There is absolutely no excuse for the website to mislead anyone into thinking that they can definitely go to such a niche event without any consequences. The staff made excuses such as "oh its not long open". It had nearly 2 years to update and amend any necessary changes. I expect a swift response to this situation.

I truly love this place and can’t wait for it to open again. You’d be hard pressed to find a friendlier night out. Anywhere!

Dont expect fine duning but expect a great wee pub. Good for a pint. Take a visit. Great outside space. Great wee lane.

Popped in on Saturday for a lunchtime drink and had a vegetable pakora which was very nice indeed. Great traditional bar which also has a great value bar menu.

An enchanting Irish bar, great folk singers through the week with a hubbub of busy joy at the weekends. The first pub to properly do a beer garden back in the day!

Was a Monday so pretty empty, but that didn’t distract the servers from promptu service great chat, loved the place and can’t wait to go back when the live music is on, thanks for making this lonely guy feel welcome

Lunchtime pint nice staff made to feel welcome ,very quiet at this time of day howev4er the weather outside was appalling.Good choice of beers and ales and kept very clean and tidy.

A bit small, but it offers something different in Partick

I love this bar. Its Irish themed with local acts on almost daily and the beer is priced comparatively with the others around it. Most people would just say it's like any other Irish bar but theres a few things that make this place deserve its 5 stars. The staff are always smiling and helpful a quiet day is a good day in here just as much as a busy one is. The selection of drinks is very good considering the limited bar space avaliable and the decor has loads to catch the eye and start a conversation. A good place for couples meeting and small groups. The atmosphere is sublime and you would always love this establishment with a smile. Gin selection is great. Ask nicely and you might even get a nice shamrock in your Guinness.

If you are looking for a great night with live music then this is the place to be in the west end. Staff are fun and friendly including the doormen who are a step above the rest.

Ik was in Glasgow's Westend en kwam in Ashton Lane deze leuke pub tegen en besloot hier te gaan lunchen. Voor een bordje Haggis Pakora en een glas Tennent's Amber was ik ik ruim GBP 5,- kwijt en het smaakte uitstekend.

Love coming here when on Ashton Lane! The place is always jam packed which just proves how popular it is! Drinks are reasonably price and the live bands are always great! Worth a visit if you like atmosphere and love music!

An old favorite of mine. It is a bit on the pricey side but not overly expensive for the west end, a typical Irish themed bar, and can be very busy at weekends, have covered smokers area and good sized beer garden, for when the weather is good

Acababa de visitarla para comer al otro lado de la calle y terminé a tiempo de cruzar y ver a Chris Suckle, era increíble y todos cantaban y bailaban, qué joya de lugar. Encontré ! ! ! Y me encantan los Glaswegians: estaba solo y todos fueron muy amables, gracias a todos por una noche brillante. ! ! !

Great pub and Great Staff been coming here for years. Love it. They have entertainment at night. And serve very reasonably priced cuisine great location easy access to underground, Taxis. and buses.

Worked here as a student and they treat their staff great. Also had a cracking atmosphere and lovely beer garden.
