Nice bar, great beers and a number of large TVs to watch the footie

Was in here one night randomly, the atmosphere was ok, very loud, live band playing large mixture of age and race turned out too be a really good night in the end.

The pub is amazing all of the bar staff are amazing and the door staff are second to none.

Basic pub but very exspensive due to location, toilets were spotless. Student vibe about the place but don't know how they can afford it. Two bottles of magners cider over £10! Wow.

Whit a disappointment, all the raves giving it laldy n here it was, pretty poor in reality, dreadful pizza and average service, don't waste yer time, there are loadsa bars far better than this yin......

Went here on a quiet Thursday afternoon. Only looking for a pint and a snack so shared a pizza between the two of us and it was very good even if it was served in a take-away pizza box. The West lager was excellent and the single bar woman on duty was very helpful and friendly. Would return again.

One of the best burgers I’ve had. Reasonably priced beers. Great live music. Definitely will come again.

Slightly raucous and always very busy. It’s right beside the underground so attracts a lot of subcrawl groups, football fans and hens and stags. Huge beer garden and loads of indoor seating, showing sports and serving food. Lots of pleasant serving staff. It’s a pretty big bustly venue for its central location. It’s not really the kind of place to go for a quiet catch up with friends, more a quick pit stop to refuel or regroup before continuing the festivities.

The Irish hen called nina is 10/10

Asked for Smirnoff and can of coke Jack Daniels and Diet Coke. Drinks poured with dash filled to brim. Said I had asked for can of Coke. Guy said I hadn’t asked for can. Can understand possible mistake with Diet Coke. Repaired however came back with can of Coke only asked them for Diet Coke he said hadn’t asked walked away with can of Coke tried to shout him back. He didn’t answer returned with diet coke only. Told him he wasn’t listening as wanted can of Coke also. Left pub without drinks wouldn’t be back. Wouldn’t be back sullen member of staff. Not listening to orders!!!

Good place and good location. Service is normally prompt.

Popped into this pub for a drink before the concert at the OVO hydro. And only two minutes walk from the premier Inn

Called in to warm up, during our visit to the Christmas market (poor) nice pizza, they also let in the dogs my cousin had with them. Friendly staff.

Einfach eine coole Location um gerade am Wochenende feiern zu gehen. Live Musik und ein gut gemischtes Publikum machen diesen Ort zu einer trendigen Bar mit klassischem Scharm und Ambiente.

We stayed here for 1.5 hour and drank some beers and wine. Very friendly staff, nice beers and lots of tv:s with soccer on. Nice pub!

It's a very popular pub with Scotland football fans so has a great atmosphere. Bar service is also good indoors even when it is busy. Unfortunately service outside was very slow and there were lots of people smoking in the marquee area so it wasn't very pleasant.

Great place to grab a pint or two or a few.

This is a go-to if you want to sit outside even in bad weather. I can't explain it, this place just works. It's nice.

Buen lugar cerca del centro de Glasgow para tomarte una pinta, buen servicio y dentro del precio de Glasgow, tienen comida, no la hacen ellos, pero esta buena, si andas por la zona y quieres parar a comer y tomar algo, sin duda un lugar excelente, los sábados tiene muy buen ambiente desde la tarde en el beer garden si el tiempo acompaña

Just been here in the beer garden the lady there is pouring half shots of spirits. £5 odd for a single mixer and i’m drinking a glass of tonic. Cracking stuff 👍🏼

It was quite cold as all the doors were open and it wasn't very busy, I'm sure if it was busy then it'd be hot and you would need the doors opened. At that time, it was cold, and there were flies flying about to. I didn't have any food. I had a pint of strongbow and then left.

Good day spoiled by attitude of immature staff and a manger who clearly indulges them. Was told none of our group was getting served because my husband was too drunk...he never moved from his seat...so how they knew this I don't know. I immediately said we were leaving anyway but still another 4 paying customers were refused service. Seemed fine to take our money for a few hours before that though... disgusting way to treat PAYING customers. Won't be back and will be telling others of our experience.

This is a proper old style pub.(no boutique styling here!) It had a great atmosphere, great drinks, and we wished we had gotten there earlier to have food. Everyone was so friendly, including the other customers. Could have stayed all night!

Came here for food and a couple of drinks before a concert on Tuesday night. Great pint of tennents at a good price, ordered some food as well which was amazing. Took a while to come but that wasn't a problem. Was spoiled by attitude of the male member of staff on duty, basically threw our food on the table with a look of disgust on his face. I also saw how he served other members of the public with the same arrogance. The female staff members were pleasant enough though. Not how you treat paying members of the public.

We visited here on a Saturday evening before heading to the 02 Academy. The bar staff were nice and friendly and there was a good range of draft beers as well as the usual selection of spirits etc. Prices were a bit below average for the area, so all in all we would recommend a visit.

Happened upon this place looking for something to eat as we were starving. Lovely food and reasonably priced. Like the idea of disposable and recyclable packaging for the food. Would recommend.

Looking for a quick lunch we came out with Hootenanny. Never been there and didn’t know what to expect. It was ordering at the bar. Food we ordered was delivered in a box but that was no problem at all. We had beef slices with cheese, fries and spicy sauce. Delicious. Now we know where to go on a next visit to Glasgow

Went to Glasgow to see coldplay and stayed at premier inn enoch square. Had a little explore and went to the Hootenanny for a drink. Nice staff, nice beer nice pub. Watched the Man utd Liverpool match, good atmosphere.

little hidden gem of a pub, been here a few times now for drinks late at night and the place always has the best atmosphere. There was a live singer in when we were in and he was amazing, singing all the classics. Lovely big beer garden also with seperate bar outside- perfect for summer nights

Came here for dinner with my mum whilst she was visiting me in Glasgow, had a couple of burgers (my mum had the Carter, I had the Blueprint) both with curly fries and my mum and I both agreed they were the best curly fries...

One of the best bousers in the city centre. Staff are really attentive and great pints. The food took a while to arrive but the chups were dead good.

Not been here in well over a year, no need to book, they take walk-ins. The staff are covered with masks, social distancing well in place, sell a decent range of lagers, etc, we tend to stick to Tennents. Food is available to order from...

I had never been in this pub before. I had a dinner here. Super friendly staff . The food was really good, tasty and plentiful and prices cheaper than many similar pubs. Great atmosphere, brilliant music. I recommend this place.

Very busy bar, and a struggle to find a seat, but an enjoyable visit and the staff were helpful and pleasant.

Was in with the family for lunch today and the place is looking good, recently been done up and the food and service were great our waiter nick made us all laugh and enhanced our experience highly recommend

Popped in for a quick lunch while in the city and found the place fairly decent. Old rustic pub feel about it. The staff were friendly and attentive. Had a steak and cheese panini which was tasty and good.

En el centro de Glasgow, comida típica a buen precio. Pedimos el fish & chips y el steak pie & chips, a £ 9'5 el plato. Pensamos que era un pastel de carne pero era como un estofado de ternera. Muy rico y cerveza Guinness no podía faltar.

Mis amigos y yo visitamos Hootenanny para mi cumpleaños y nos quedamos impresionados por lo cálido y acogedor que era nuestro barman Eden. Ella mantuvo todas nuestras espinillas y tenía un conocimiento fantástico de todas las bebidas por las que estábamos muy agradecidos e impresionados.

Came here for a wee business lunch and decided to order some food...wow a Is all I can say..for a pub this is exceptional and the speed of service was great..would highly recommended the burger and pizzas

We went here to grab a bite to eat. The staff were attentive and helpful. Very interesting food menu The food was fantastic. We had mozzarella sticks, Black pudding Bon Bons, and deep fried Pork. The food came fast and hot.The place is very busy and has a great selection of beers. I would recommend this pub to anyone.And thanks to the staff for getting us a cab back to our Hotel.

We really enjoyed the restaurant/pub. I am not a football fan myself, but it was great fun watching everyone get into the game. Nearly the least expensive round of pints we had in the UK (£6 for 2). The food was good and the 3 small plates for £10 was a value

Best beer garden when we’ve got a bit of sun! I went there with my friends and we got a wee bench outside, had some drinks from their bar hut outside and we grabbed lunch there too. I had the burger & my friends had max&cheese; and fish & chips. We all loved it!

Popped in for a quick snack. The music was from the Woodstock era. This is the 50 year anniversary of the renowned music festival. Had three of the small plates. A perfect choice. The pork, monk fish and olives. A great snack. Stop by an enjoy the gang, anbiance, and food. You won't be disappointed, you will be amazed.
