Nice place. Close to everything

Smash burgers were excellent, fine potatoe bun and loads of fries ! Very smiling and nice staff!

Old fashioned pub, plenty of space. Wheelchair accessible and all one level Staff are friendly and helpful with information for tourists. I only had beer, didn’t try the food.

Hootenanny Pub situated in the heart of Glasgow is always a good chance to get a nice beer and chill... Such a lovely spot Always nice to be back here .

Nice friendly place to watch the football

First time there. I came to see the entertainment, Johnny Barr.

We had a wee Christmas night in here with people from my work, the staff were absolutely brilliant and very quick to serve, we done pizzas and burgers with some sides, food was so good and was well presented in cardboard food boxes. Both food and drink were reasonably priced for the toon centre. Live entertainment was great, Johnny Barr and his guitar had the place rocking. Was a great atmosphere.

Fairly small pub but they have a large covered area outside with plenty of tables and a TV to watch whatever game is on that night. Good service.

Early in the day so not a lot of people in, staff were friendly and pint was great 😉

Sunday lunchtime drink and snack with family. Football on TV but I'm not a big fan so had no interest although some.of the folk did get a bit excited! Staff were friendly and service was really quick. Great location at St Enoch Square, and was surprised to learn the bar was child friendly, we had a few drinks and snacks/pizza which are prepared by the neighbouring restaurants, really delicious and everything very reasonably priced. A definitite revisit when I can.

Went in here for a drink and a bite to eat, looked over the menu, ordered chicken and chips , asking for 2 plates as we were not that hungry and wanted to share our meal, knowing pub meals are usually enormous, 15mins later we were given a cardboard box which contained our meal , followed by another cardboard box, that being the second plate!!! We were baffled by this, and asked what on earth was going on, she explained that the food is brought in from a few doors up, and to be honest it was pretty awful, we left it after trying a few chips, if we wanted a take away meal we could have stayed in our hotel and ordered uber eats. If, upon ordering we were told of this it may have changed our minds. Left hungry.

Good food atmosphere is amazing

This Spot is Lively with Locals and with a Good Selection of Beers and Spirits with the Talisker in Particular a real Bargain and the Tennents Petfect.

It’s in a central location with a large beer garden. The prices were reasonable and the staff were friendly. We didn’t eat, so can’t comment on that.

A small altercation outside and the security dealt with it immediately and in a calm and controlled manner which rapidly dissolved the situation and left everyone happy

Great food, good selection of drinks and not overly expensive. Staff are friendly and gregarious, well worth the visit. The staff and live bands promote an atmosphere of the type rarely found in a city centre. More like the local boozer found in one of the wee islands pubs where everyone knows each other and are delighted to see you again.

Birthday night out. Excellent pub. Highly recommended.

Not a bad wee pub at all. Located on Howard Street, just off the south side of St Enoch Square, this pub differs from any other Merchant City ‘drinkery’ by its prices alone. You were looking around the £4.00-£4.50 mark for a pint. Really cheap. There was seating available in and outdoors, with a covered Beer Garden to the rear. I know there was also a food menu but we were only stopping for a swift one during a ‘sub-crawl’. Entertainment on offer but we were in well before any of that kicked off. Lastly, free wi-fi was provided via password access (requires you to ask a member of staff). I personally don’t think it’s as good as the one in Inverness (presuming they’re linked) but it did have a decent atmosphere and sold pints at a more than acceptable price.

Very quaint sports bar. The beer was delicious and the service was friendly. Have a huge beer garden. Gladly again!

The security here are horrible went in to use the toilet( I am 19 and had id on me) the male security came down to the female toilet and started shouting at me that I couldn’t use the toilet as I was “underage” I showed him my id and then he proceeded to grab me and shout in my face “do you think I won’t hit a girl” the man held my hair while he walked me out the door, I’ve never drank here and I’ll be avoiding it

Was in here one night randomly, the atmosphere was ok, very loud, live band playing large mixture of age and race turned out too be a really good night in the end.

The pub is amazing all of the bar staff are amazing and the door staff are second to none.

Basic pub but very exspensive due to location, toilets were spotless. Student vibe about the place but don't know how they can afford it. Two bottles of magners cider over £10! Wow.

Whit a disappointment, all the raves giving it laldy n here it was, pretty poor in reality, dreadful pizza and average service, don't waste yer time, there are loadsa bars far better than this yin......

Went here on a quiet Thursday afternoon. Only looking for a pint and a snack so shared a pizza between the two of us and it was very good even if it was served in a take-away pizza box. The West lager was excellent and the single bar woman on duty was very helpful and friendly. Would return again.

One of the best burgers I’ve had. Reasonably priced beers. Great live music. Definitely will come again.

Slightly raucous and always very busy. It’s right beside the underground so attracts a lot of subcrawl groups, football fans and hens and stags. Huge beer garden and loads of indoor seating, showing sports and serving food. Lots of pleasant serving staff. It’s a pretty big bustly venue for its central location. It’s not really the kind of place to go for a quiet catch up with friends, more a quick pit stop to refuel or regroup before continuing the festivities.

Asked for Smirnoff and can of coke Jack Daniels and Diet Coke. Drinks poured with dash filled to brim. Said I had asked for can of Coke. Guy said I hadn’t asked for can. Can understand possible mistake with Diet Coke. Repaired however came back with can of Coke only asked them for Diet Coke he said hadn’t asked walked away with can of Coke tried to shout him back. He didn’t answer returned with diet coke only. Told him he wasn’t listening as wanted can of Coke also. Left pub without drinks wouldn’t be back. Wouldn’t be back sullen member of staff. Not listening to orders!!!

Popped into this pub for a drink before the concert at the OVO hydro. And only two minutes walk from the premier Inn

Called in to warm up, during our visit to the Christmas market (poor) nice pizza, they also let in the dogs my cousin had with them. Friendly staff.

Einfach eine coole Location um gerade am Wochenende feiern zu gehen. Live Musik und ein gut gemischtes Publikum machen diesen Ort zu einer trendigen Bar mit klassischem Scharm und Ambiente.

We stayed here for 1.5 hour and drank some beers and wine. Very friendly staff, nice beers and lots of tv:s with soccer on. Nice pub!

It's a very popular pub with Scotland football fans so has a great atmosphere. Bar service is also good indoors even when it is busy. Unfortunately service outside was very slow and there were lots of people smoking in the marquee area so it wasn't very pleasant.

Buen lugar cerca del centro de Glasgow para tomarte una pinta, buen servicio y dentro del precio de Glasgow, tienen comida, no la hacen ellos, pero esta buena, si andas por la zona y quieres parar a comer y tomar algo, sin duda un lugar excelente, los sábados tiene muy buen ambiente desde la tarde en el beer garden si el tiempo acompaña

Just been here in the beer garden the lady there is pouring half shots of spirits. £5 odd for a single mixer and i’m drinking a glass of tonic. Cracking stuff 👍🏼

It was quite cold as all the doors were open and it wasn't very busy, I'm sure if it was busy then it'd be hot and you would need the doors opened. At that time, it was cold, and there were flies flying about to. I didn't have any food. I had a pint of strongbow and then left.

We were sitting in covered outdoor area which has it's own bar. Great atmosphere. Had a great time.
